How To: Diy Your Own Clip In Extensions At Home | Easy & Convenient| Natural Hair

Hey y'all welcome back to another video. Thank you all so much for being here, um y'all, so your girl is trying something new. Today um. I wanted to try my own DIY clippings, because I wanted to order some from a website, but it wasn't on coming time for my my Valentine's Day date and honestly y'all. It wasn't even that serious like I could have just went on and ordered it anyway, because we just chilled for Valentine's Day we relaxed and made dinner at home. But that's another story. I end up making my own clippings y'all and I'm super excited. I did it because it was an experience. It took me about 45 minutes to make these clip-ins. So I have three bundles and one is a 18 inch, a 20 inch and a 22 inch. So what y'all see me doing now is layering. My wefts, I feel like it will save me some time with sewing so many Clips on. If that makes sense, I'm just basically thickening up the hair. If you decide to do the same as me, just don't layer the wefts directly on top of one another, because then your webs will be like super bulky, as y'all can see how my wefts are like laying on top of each other but they're, not on top Of each other, if that makes sense, y'all look closely like they're like under one another. So that's how I'm gon na lay the clips on y'all and let me just say one thing before we go any farther y'all, so the clips is already on. If y'all can see but um, this has three Clips on three wefts or is this two F's? I don't really remember y'all. I was in my own Zone: okay, that's three wefts, but anyway y'all um, I'm not a professional hair, stylist y'all um, I'm just showing y'all. What I did for my first time doing this hairstyle um, so I just got creative. That'S all I want to say so by any means. Y'All can get y'all little tips from me, but y'all don't have to either like because I'm not a professional, I'm just showing y'all how I did it and they actually turned out pretty good. But as y'all can see, it's not perfect and it don't have to be perfect because they're not going to see your webs anyway. As long as you got them things sewed on or tight, where your things is not falling out your head, you should be straight, but, as y'all can see, I got a lot of website with the clips on there y'all and it's really turning out pretty good. For my first time now, the more you do, this, the more you try, I'm pretty sure it will get better. So I end up using two and a half bundles yaw um. As y'all know, I did get three and turns out my head isn't as big as I thought it was seriously. I thought I was gon na need all three bundles, although you can use all three bundles. If you really really want a full full look and there's nothing wrong with that, but I started noticing that I had 10 bundles already at the end, and I felt like that was enough for my head because remember I did so three wefts on top of each Other well layered it and I think it made a lot of hair like it was real full y'all. So I didn't even need to hold three bundles, so I'm just showing y'all how I was sewing. The clips on um there's like two holes at the top of these clips, and I used the one that was like under the first under the top hole, because that top one was real small to where my needle wouldn't go through and another thing I used a Curved needle, but it probably was best to use a straight needle, because I did struggle a little with that curved needle y'all so um only because that curved needle at the top was like real thick, and you know a straight needle is like real thin. So that might be like something: y'all might want that for y'all. So I feel like it was enough hair and I still had hair left y'all and I didn't even mention what type of hair this is. So the hair was model model by gardenia and honestly the hair is really okay like I was a little worried at first, because it's not really that pricey um. I spent about forty dollars total for three bundles of hair, which isn't bad, but I was worried because it was from the beauty supply store, but it actually isn't that bad. It sheds a little bit, but it's not really that bad at all. And although I cut it, I really could have kept it long, but I just didn't want to keep up with the maintenance y'all but yeah I'm going to go ahead and show y'all how I installed these in my hair y'all. So I hope y'all enjoyed seeing me sew the clips on all right y'all. We are at the fun part now, so I did leave some of my hair out because I would like to pull it up when I went to and I just feel like um I just want to like move my hair around some. You know so I did braid my hair in the middle. I was thinking about leaving all my hair out, but that would just be too much maintenance and my hair is already broke off real bad, so I just feel like I'ma, just protect it a little y'all um. So I just pinned my hair down because I didn't really feel like sewing. It y'all, I'm already tired, it's late, so I'm just showing y'all the hair y'all and I got like the three Clips going in the back. So I'm gon na put like two of these. In the back and they got three Clips on it and then I'm gon na get two two tracks that got the four Clips on it um in the middle of my head. I guess I will just let y'all see what I'm doing, because I'm just all right. Y'All, this is the outcome of the hair. As y'all can see. I am a natural I feel like if my hair was probably relaxed, it would lay down a little better, but I'm not getting the relaxer. So it's gon na have to do what it's going to do. This is the back look at me. I got hair. I got hair. I can also pull it up in a ponytail if it become too much on my neck, because sometimes hair do irritate my skin. So I can pull it up after a while y'all. That'S why I left my hair out on the sides, because you know sometimes you might just want to get it off your neck off your skin and pull it up, especially if you're cleaning this stuff. Like me all throughout the day, but I hope y'all like it, so I'm about to go ahead and start cutting it, because I feel like it's a little too long like towards my face. So that's what we're going to do! We'Re going to trim some of this hair up and make some layers decided to put a little bump to the end jaw just to make it kind of like lay down a little bit more better than how I was, and I realized that flat irons was never Even on the whole time y'all, so these flat irons are actually super old, it's time to upgrade, but I did the best I can, but I ended up getting me some flexi rods like a day later and that's what I've been using. So I can leave The Heat alone, but I also am going to go ahead and do my edges, because these things have to lay down - and I just can't keep putting heat on it because they already kind of light as it is. So I'm going to go ahead and put some edge control on these things and we'll see how it looks so as y'all can see, I was super excited. I hope you all enjoyed this video.
