What'S going on, you guys welcome back to our YouTube channel, so for so long we have been meaning to do this. Video, and so many people have requested this video from us um. So I thought, since baby's hair is literally in absolute mess, um and she hasn't got it done in a lot in quite a while. Actually, the last time we did it is when I did your hair yeah, it's been a while it's been a while since she's had her hair done. So I thought why not do this video um me showing you guys how I do baby's hair um, because I actually haven't been a stylist for a while, because um baby found a stylist here in Arizona but um? I feel like when we're when we're too busy. It'S actually hard to go and go to her stylist um, it's better off that. I know how to do her. Hair and I've been learning on and off. You guys how to do baby's hair three years. She gets better with every time. I'M happy that we're doing this on camera because I feel like you're gon na put a little extra sauce on it. So yeah, I'm basically going to start off by detoxing baby's hair because um she does have probably a lot of product Builder and um. Just give it a good little detox and then we're going to go in and two strand twist her hair and give her a retwist and basically give her the whole shebang and we're gon na. Take you guys? Well, I'm going to take you guys through exactly how I do that products and all the tools and equipment that we need to do it. Okay, so this is babies before, as you can see, baby did a little thing. Herself, Ruby did her own hair. The last time she did it: okay, so yeah we're just gon na we're. Just gon na fix all this. Okay, you guys so for the detox we are going to be using baking soda, I'm going to be using lemons, you can use lemon juice, but I prefer to use fresh lemons and then we're gon na also be using apple, cider, vinegar, um, also really good. For the detox, so these are the three things that we're going to be using for today's detox and then in terms of supplies. We'Re going to need some of these clips for when we're sectioning the hair and to hold the hair. I'M gon na need some rubber bands um. This is for the two strand twist a towel comb. This um end is so good for sectioning the hair and then products wise, we'll, probably just spray the hair after we've washed it with some castor oil. We have some rose water that Prince made in this bowl, so to actually twist the hair and style it we're going to be using this twist butter. Now this has almond oil and yogurt extract and honey in it. So it's got really good ingredients and we don't like to use anything too thick and anything that's going to cause a lot of build up and damage to her hair. So this is what we're going to use today. Okay, so we have gone through products and supplies. We'Re going to get to it now and detox the hair um so first things: first, we're going to use the baking soda first and then we're going to go with apple, cider, vinegar and then we're gon na go with the lemons. Thank you. Foreign is currently soaking. Her hair in the detox Spa, so she can get the rest of her dreads, don't feel good it does. I mean this, isn't the best we shouldn't. We probably shouldn't have done it in the sink, but you know time efficient, because she's standing one of those bubble things you need what oh hand washing makes you dress, they have them on Amazon, oh yeah, okay, next time, next time. Okay, the detox is complete um. I'M now just gon na go in, I know. Prince'S legs are literally killing her um, I'm gon na go in with some tea tree, um, shampoo and conditioner just wash her hair, and then we will get into the retwist foreign we're going to start off with sectioning. The hair um, I usually start like bottom upwards um. So that's how I'm going to start today. You have some um little bits of lemon still just eat your hair, but that doesn't matter. It'S like. That'S like the least of our worries. So, let's start by section in all of this because, as you can see guys at the bottom, like Prince um, grew out the rest of her hair and she stopped cutting all of this and shaving it all. So she actually now has like little baby dreads and they are so freaking cute, but um, I'm gon na start by sectioning these off because um I like to start with these baby ones. First and then we are going to give her a retwist and then, after we've done the retwist, we're going to then go in and do the two strand twists so baby can have a style foreign with some of this rose oil. What'S this actually baby? What'S it called again rose rose, water Rose will uh, that's what it's called okay, so we're going in with the rose water. I'M gon na get a towel for you, one second, okay, so we're gon na go ahead and clip these little baby ones up. So I because there's like two rows of these, but I'm so proud of baby for actually growing these dreads out, because I know how many times she wanted to cut them off. These are the ones right here that we're, starting with I'm going to start with this one right here. It'S just going to push brush all this hair up right here and I have got the butter the twist butter on my comb already. So I can just comb through this. As you can see, this is all her regrowth right here, I'm just going to comb through that. Stick this coming baby's hair and then what I like to do is Twist that way like this, so it's actually called the Palm roll and we're just going to twist and roll that. So it's literally like that and then I'm gon na just get all my product and just make sure it's on the whole dress. So the whole thread is nice and moisturized and then we're just going to go ahead and clip it right there and there you can see it looks so much better than these ones right here so yeah, I'm just gon na go ahead and do the rest of The head and then we will get on to doing the two strand twist foreign foreign. Thank you all right. You guys like two hours later. How long have you been maybe like two like an hour and a half two hours, so I have retwisted all of baby's hair. Let me show you guys, so, as you can see, all of this has been retwisted um. I have to take out these um Clips. So what I'm gon na do first, is I'm gon na blow dry it? As you can see all this product can dry but um you're already looking clean baby, it's really looking good foreign twist. I am going to put this side of the hair up like this and then I'm literally going to take two pieces of the dress of the juice. That'S not so funny I'm going to take two pieces of the hair and I'm basically gon na twist them around each other, but I'm gon na do it tightly. I think that's the best way that I can explain it and I'm gon na obviously make sure that the both of the twists are actually aligned with each other. So these two are right next door to each other and then I'm basically gon na overlap this one on top of this one like this and then I'm gon na just twist it a little and then I'm Gon na Keep twisting it round. Until I get to the bottom and as you guys can see, there is still product that is still wet, but once we've finished the two strand twist, I'm basically just gon na dry off again. So it's nice and neat and clean up these pots right around here. Where baby hasn't got a liner, I'm actually super surprised that I can do this without with these long nails on, but, as you guys can see, it kind of looks like a rope foreign. I am. I do like to kind of Tuck this foot up. Princess hairstyle is actually taught me that um and then we're gon na go in with one rubber band but um. Basically, I don't want to tie it too tight around the hair, because these rubber bands are not very good for the hair. So I'm just going to wrap around a few times until that I feel like it's tight enough mm-hmm and then I'm gon na cuff. It right there at the bottom, so there's no leave out just like that, and there you go. She has her first touch on Twitter, foreign baby's, hair um for the like 200th time, and I feel like every time that I do it that I get better um, but it does take a long time like I know obviously like video like it didn't seem like It took a long time it took most of the day. Actually it's been like four four five hours um, but I did want to make sure that I did it correctly and I did it as perfect as possible. Um, so baby doesn't have to go and spend money on her hairstylist yeah, even though I think she still kills it like. She absolutely kills your hair, but that was that we hope you guys enjoyed. I will put everything down below in the description all the products and stuff that we use. So you guys, if you have locks, can go ahead and or even if you have a boom with locks, you guys yeah. You have to be able to do the hair. You know what I mean even primary person that does their hair at least give them a you know you got to be able to come and come in clutch yeah. I'M saying you have to it's like a it's like an unspoken rule. If you date a dreadhead, you got to be able to do the retwist yeah. You know what I'm saying and if you get really good at it, then you get extra money yeah cause three years ago. I did not know how I didn't know anything about dreads at all, and now I can. I can definitely say that I am voted yeah yeah for sure this is good. Thank you guys. Thank you for watching this video. I’ve been locked for 3.5 years and my bf for 6 years now & when it comes to detoxing, seeing as how i don’t have a blowup tub he can lay his head back in, and over the sink is a lot of work (lol poor prince) i find it’s easy to just make the acv rinse and put it in a spray bottle and just drench his locs, then just put a plastic bag on his head for 15, 20 minutes and i promise it works like a charm

What book is that in exactly?! My wife was annoyed more than I was! She is a Foundational Black American and I'm Caucasian. We've been together over 15 years and married 6 yrs. Pam decided to grow out her short twists into locs back in 2008. I was cool with it and within the first year I knew how to do her hair, but it wasn't an unspoken rule, just like I don't expect her to know how to cut and do my hair. I am unable to do her hair fully because I have Cerebral Palsy on my left side, but I still help her with her hair because I wanted to help not because of some "Lesbian relationship book of rules!" I take the loc and new growth and combine it and hand her the loc, she palm rolls it with loc serum & I clip it and go to the next one. First time, took all day. Now, we can wash, shampoo, condition, and retwist within 3 hrs or so, but she still regularly goes to a loctitian & barber for her lineups. We only do it when we are in a pinch. She shaved some off years ago & recently had them reattached & she's taught herself how to reattach because it's extremely expensive & the loctitian she used didn't do a very good job and a few fell out. We got it on lock now. Just be mindful that there are all types of relationships & not everyone is alike so if your girl can't do your hair, it's okay, don't blow them off over that one thing. I know u weren't trying to be rude, but it did come off that way. It's all good, but be mindful that your way is not everyone's way. You'll notice this more & more as u get older.
