Hey guys welcome back to my channel, this is rimpa Kaur and in today's video I'm going to show you how to cut your hair at home by yourself. So I have made a video before and that video was about layer cut. But in today's video we're not going to be doing layer cut, but we will do the hairstyle, which is called butterfly cut. I mean, like I, have seen this hairstyle, so many in so many so many videos like so I thought, okay, why not just try it so, as you see here, this is the length of my hair. Okay, let me just go back so guys. As you can see, this is the length of my hair. It'S quite long. Okay, so I did not cut it for like about two years, so I thought. Okay, I just saw this video and I was like okay. Let me try it and it's time to cut my hair like last month. I straightened my hair and it's like it's not in a good condition over here towards the end. It'S like really very frizzy and it's very dry and I am having a lot of hair fall after coven. I don't know what to do about that, but any which ways um I thought of like cutting my hair today. So, let's see how this hairstyle turns out to be because I've never tried butterfly cut before so this is the first time I'll be doing butterfly cut, so I am trying it for the first time. So, let's see what's the result - and I hope you like the video so let's go ahead and get started, let's not waste much time so as I've seen in the other video. What they have used are like the elastics or rubber bands and uh scissor. So this is the scissor which I have uh I'll, be using this scissor okay to cut my hair, and you would also need comb. Okay, okay, so let's go ahead and get started for the first step. What you need to do is brush your hair or comb. Your hair - oh that's, my hair for, like I'm, getting hair loss right in the middle Okay. So first divide your hair into two sections: okay right from the center and then what you can do is uh. You know, divide the other half and you know brush the hair behind and now, as you see here, do it on the left side as well. So then, after that, take the rest of your hair and just clip it with a clutcher or use a rubber band. So now what I'm going to do is I am going to brush my hair and check if I have divided the hair, you know divided it in the uh in a in a straight line. So I'm just checking here and if you think like it's not divided. What you can do is just with the help of a mirror, just keep checking and then divide it properly. So now it's into two parts. So, as you see here, it's like a semicircle so take the comb and comb your hair and, as you see here once you're, okay with it, take the elastic or the rubber band and just tie it. Okay, so, as you see here, I'm just removing the clutch and I'm going to comb my hair if you use a rattle tail brush or a thin bristle brush like this, it's really nice because you can it gives you like that fine finish so now, as you See here I put my head down and then I got the hair in the center and after I checked it if it was okay and if I have collected all the hair, I'm taking the rub band and I am tying another ponytail. So now you need to have like two ponytails one right in front like in your forehead. The other one is going to be right in the center of your head. So guys, as you see here, it's divided into two parts. So what I'm doing now here is, I am taking an elastic and, as you see here, I am tying the elastic exactly where I want to cut it. So it's right below my chin, so I didn't want it to be too short, because it's the first time and I was scared to cut my hair, because this is the first time I'm trying this haircut but anyways. I am trying to level it up and checking if you know I'm okay with the length I want to cut so here, as you can see, I'm checking the length if it's okay, so once you're happy with the length, then you can take your scissor and you Can go ahead and cut your hair. I am so scared. I don't know how this is going to be, but let's see so, as you can see, I'm cutting it right above the rubber band. Oh my God! Oh my God. Okay, that's done! That'S a lot of air. Oh let's see if it's leveled so just check if it's level and if it's not level, you can just take the scissor and just trim it a bit just check it with your finger. So now here I'm using my thinning hair thinning scissors. You can use the normal scissor as well, I'm just using this and I'm just leveling the hair and, as you see here, I'm holding it with my fingers and that's how I'm checking if my hair is level all the way through yeah. I am so scared. I don't know what to do, but I have already done it so. Ah, okay, back now, I was a bit scared when I was doing this a step, it's because this is like the back hair right. So I was scared. If it's going to be short, I did it okay. So, as you can see here, I did it and I cut quite a lot of hair. So now I'm just repeating the same step again, so I'm using the hair, thinning scissor and I'm just cutting the bits. So now is the time for the big reveal and let's see how it turned out to be so, as you see here here, I am still pretty nervous because I don't know if it's okay, then I was like checking my hair in the mirror, and I was Happy that it was not too short - oh my God! Oh my God! Okay, okay, not bad, not bad, not bad! So I'm just checking the length of my hair just checking if it's all leveled over here. If you see it's a bit dry, okay, so so I'm just trimming it out and if you see here, I'm using the hair thinning scissor again and I'm just quickly just cutting the bits. Now I'm just taking the hair from my right and the left side and I'm checking. If both the sides are equal and yeah, it is equal. Okay and I'm just cutting off the dry ends. Okay - and I actually really really love this haircut, so I just went ahead and I curled my hair. I wanted to see if this looks beautiful, I mean I wanted to see how my hair looks when it's straight and how it looks when it's girly and to be honest to you, I really love it. I mean it's not bad, just look at it. It looks gorgeous, I mean, like imagine, the one who have like really thick hair. It'S gon na look beautiful like I do not have like thick hair. My hair is really thin, but it looks beautiful. Isn'T it so guys? As you can see, my hair has turned out to be beautiful and I love it. I mean I just blow dried it a little bit and I curl it and uh just look at it. It looks amazing. I love it Lexi, it's like I cut this much. It'S not a little bit, it's a lot of hair. It was until here and now it's shot, but anyways I'm happy with the haircut. It looks beautiful. Look at that amazing.
