All right, ladies i'm just going to start off by detangling my hair, just making sure everything is combed out and then i'm gon na go in with my ogx renewing argan oil and i'm just gon na spray that all throughout the hair and what this oil do. It acts as a protectant against the rubber bands and also add a nice shine to my hair. So i'm just make sure i spray that all over my head and just make sure i rub my hands through just get it all the way down to my ends and then i'm gon na go in with my rat tail comb. Now. This is very important that you guys use the one with the plastic in and not the middle. The plastic end is going to give you the crispy parting that you like with the baby hairs and it also acts as a brush, while uh, while combing out the products throughout your hair when you're putting the products in so make sure you guys have the one With the plastic in and not the middle, now with your baby hairs, you want to make sure you part correctly, and you want to take your time with this, because you want it to look crisp. I feel like the baby. Hairs is what makes the ponytail. So i actually take my time while parting this out and making sure both sides are even with each other and if you have too much baby hair out just put that on back with the rest of the hair and just take your time with it. Now, if you have very long baby hairs, i advise you to cut them, because at the end of the day, it's just hair, all you have to do is just cut it. It'S going to grow right back. I like for my baby hairs to be a little bit. You know a little shorter medium length. I don't like them to be too long because it makes it harder with the swooping process, so you want to make sure your edge. Your your baby hairs are very even in kind of medium length. Okay, like i said it's hair, it's going to grip. So with the sideburns. You want to make sure you do the same as well on both sides just make sure they evenly um part parted on both sides. This is a statement hairstyle you guys. This is what brings outfits together and everything. So i advise you to take your time and just really slow down while you're doing the parting, because you want everything to stand out and basically be perfect. I'M a perfectionist so we're going to go in with the murray's, blacks, beeswax, and i use this to add a little bit more color to my hair because, as you see, i do have fine hair in the front. So the black beads wax just add a little bit more definition to my to my uh baby hairs and also helps me hold the rest of my hair together. So we're just going to use the black rubber bands as well. We have the large black rubber bands, we're going to put that to the side, have those already out and then we're going to go in with our flat rat tail comb, like i said, y'all going to see what i said at the beginning that this really helps With distributing the product throughout the hair, it makes it easier and it acts as a brush, so we're just going to coat that in the back and then we're just going to comb it and just mold it together with our fingers. So now, when you're doing this, you want to make sure you actually take your time with molding it. Okay, you don't want to rush it. This is a process, so just basically slow it down and just take your time also, you are going to run into some naps if your hair is not straightening see. I didn't straighten my hair, so i'm going to run into some naps, but if you have your hair straightened, you shouldn't run into this problem, but with me i just like to go ahead and just go back up after combing the product through. I just go back in and just do another comb through with my brush and then mold the rest of the hair. So you're going to see me do that in the next um, all right y'all, so we're at the front of the head. So now i want y'all to really just pay attention and see what i'm doing uh. As you see, i'm going to be flipping back and forth between the middle and comb and the plastic comb, and when i do that, it's because i need a wider comb. That'S going to help me comb it through and when i need to mold it together. I'Ll use my rat tail comb with the flat end with the plastic end on it. So you're going to see me do that flip between both combs and it's a process y'all. So you just got to take your time and really just mold it together and get all that product mold in with your with your real hair, because you don't want it, you know you don't want the black spots looking crazy or nothing like that. You want it to all look like your hair, so you got to take your time and just blend it together. You know, after molding with the comb i like to go in with my hard brush and i use a hard brush, because the product that we're using is very thick. So you need something that's going to get through that product and actually mold it together as well. So i'm going to take my scrunchie, my little scrunchie and i'm just going to tie my hair up just to make it easier for the brushing process and i'm gon na go through and comb out. My naps girl because i told you i didn't straighten my hair. So i just go all through and just make sure all those naps is evenly combed out before completing my ponytail. So right here, like i said, i'm just going on up with my uh with my hard brush and we're just gon na brush everything on up into the ponytail. So it looks all seamless and nice looking um taking my got to be glue spray, i'm just going to spray a generous amount around the hair, mixing that with the wax that i put on the hair already and what this is going to do. It'S just going to complete the foundation of the ponytail, just basically making it a firmer ponytail, so you're going to have it in for about three days, so you don't want it moving. So you want to spray a generous amount of this got to be glue spray. So it can hold up for the three days that you're going to have it in i'm, going to take my blow dryer and i'm just going to use my hand to mold all of that up into the ponytail and just get everything seamless, um, hmm. So i'm going to take my argan oil and i'm just going to spray that, on top where i sprayed the glue at and what this does, is it just makes that white cast that comes from the glue disappear um after you'll see after doing your hair, with The got to be glued that white cast appears after the glue dries, so you want to just spray that back on top and just mold the hair again with the brush. Like i said this is a process y'all, so you're going to go back in with the combs you're going to go back in with the brush and you're just going to make sure everything is molded and perfectly before completing the ponytail, yes uh. So i'm gon na go in with my got to be sprayed. This is going to be the last round of the got to be spray in the molding process before actually attaching the rubber bands to the ponytail and creating the height of the ponytail and you're going to see i'm going to go back in with the brush and Just mold everything down and also blow dry it as well um um uh. Before doing my baby hairs, i'm just going to prep my large rubber bands with some oil and i'm just going to set those aside. You want to get large rubber bands for this look and then i'm going to start with my baby hair. So what i'm going to do is take my baby flat iron and i'm going to curl my hair backwards away from the face and you're going to see me do that here after my hands right there, so yeah we're just going to curl the baby hairs backwards Away from the face to create a nice curl, i'm going to be using my black beads wax in my edge brush just to swoop my edges, i'm going to take just a little bit and apply at the top of the baby hair, not throughout the whole baby Are just at the top and i'm just going to take the brush part and just swoop that in the c motion in a little smooth motion, you see what i'm doing, i'm swooping it in the seams and i'm using my finger to direct it up to seal Those loose hairs and add me some shine to my hair, i'm going to take my pump it up spritz and i'm just going to spray that all around the perimeter of the hair and i'm just going to blow dry it um um, taking some wrap papers. I'M going to start at the top of my bun wrapping in a circular motion, just covering all of the hair possible. Try your best to get all of the hair inside of the wrapping paper, so you won't get any glue on your hair. Um! Oh, do taking my hair glue, i'm just going to coat the top of that wrapping paper and i'm going to take my track and actually create a small c on the top just creating a closure. So when somebody's taller than you or you know somebody's looking on the top of your head, they don't just see directly in the middle of your head. You feel me, so you want to create a closure with the track and just closing that little hole up at the top just to make it look like it's your natural hair. Actually so just take your time as you're wrapping you're going to add more glue to the wrapping paper. I personally am lazy, so i just go ahead and just put it all on the wrapping paper. But if you want to be a little bit more neater, you can add it to the actual track line and that's personal like personal choice, but me personally, i feel like it's easier since i'm doing it myself, i like to just add it to the wrapping paper And it just makes it easier for me to wrap it around and you know i'm a little lazy um, so my camera actually went dead in this process y'all. So i'm gon na try my best to explain it um. But at the beginning, i'm gon na use two tracks and what this is gon na do is it's just gon na make me create a very secure perimeter around my ponytail, so it don't move and it actually look more sleek and professional and it won't unravel on You so i'm going to place one of the tracks slightly in front of the other one that i put down and i'm going to make sure i blow dry those completely before using the dot to be gel glue to wrap it around um pump it up. Sprints y'all, i'm just gon na spray that on the brush, part of my edge brush and i'm just gon na go back through my baby hair and just slightly brush it back into place and just locking that curl in and i'm gon na do this on both Sides all right you guys this is the completed hair.
