Quick And Easy Kinky Straight Ponytail (Styled 4 Ways) With Protective Styles Hair

Hi guys, okay, so today i am going to be showing you how i style this ponytail from protective styles hair as you'll see in the beginning of the video. When i first show you the uh ponytail, it has a bit of a kink and a texture to it. Um you can honestly leave it that way. I'Ve worn the ponytail that way as well, but for the sake of this video and because i had blown out my hair, i wanted the hair to be just a little bit straighter, so you can flat on the hair. Now the hair isn't going to be as if you got like uh any straight hair like you're still going to have some texture to it and you'll see it after i fly down the video i'll show you what the hair looks like it's still, some texture to It which i personally like because when my hair is blown out like i still have a little bit of texture the moment that i put any type of product on my hair, so yeah um i'll leave all the links down below for the uh product. So today i am going to be, i feel, like i had something on my lip. I'M going to be styling the kinky straight ponytail that you saw in the beginning of the video and showing you just different um ideas on how to wear the ponytail um. So the first style that i'm going to do is just a sleek straight to the middle ponytail and to lay my hair down. I did blow it out. I'M going to use this edge booster stronghold water-based pomade, which looks like this probably isn't. The best idea to do since i did blow out my hair, but yeah we're gon na see now i did not flat out my hair. Do anything like that, just because i don't want my hair to be super bone straight simply because, even with me flat ironing the hair, it's not you know bone straight me. So big. Thank thank you. Thank you, ryan. Let'S here you have it style number one honestly. This is a go-to for me. It'S like it's super cute. I can wear it with my studs. I can wear it with some big hoops. It'S definitely a favorite okay, so keeping with the ponytail being just like this, i'm going to take it and do a very, very, very loose braid big. So i am rubber banding the bottom and then i'm gon na go ahead and just kind of fluff it out. Just because we want it to be bigger, so i'm really just pulling on like the little sections of the braids and this there you have style option number two. Okay, so from me doing this, you can probably guess what i'm gon na do. Next, if not, i'm going to be doing a high ponytail with bangs, so i'm gon na take this and section this off and then i'm going to take my hair. It'S a bit difficult right now because it was just kind of like molded down like the opposite way, where of how i'm trying to do it now. So so, thank you, ryan. Let'S do, but this is just something that i want to do and i'm only going over it once like. It doesn't have to be bone straight, because my ponytail still has some texture to it. So so, and now so because i feel like my hair is long enough, where it doesn't look bad, but just in case i have some kinky straight clippings from pretty i'm from protective styles here as well, and i'm going to flatter that just in case. I want to add that to my hair there you have that and i have two of them. So, okay, i'm just going to split this down the middle and then split this one more time and add the clipping into it right there and then cover that. So i'm going to probably cut it about i'm gon na wait until i see how it's looking, i'm gon na curl it clip and bring it back. It blends perfectly like perfect fully, so i'm going to take just a little tiny bit of edge control like the tiniest tiniest bit of edge control. Okay and honestly, you can leave it straight, but we're gon na curl. It do. Thank you. Thank you. So thanks. So the next thing that i'm going to do is make this ponytail just a little bit textured and i'm going to do that using my wand, ryan. Let'S so i'm not doing it super tight because i want it to be loose. I just wanted to add just a little bit of texture to it. Okay, so this is how it's looking textured um like i said you can also wear it, as is like once you wash it, and everything like that. I just decided to flat iron. My a little bit just because um i had blew my hair out and it's like honestly like a three and one ponytail. You can wear it kinky as is coming out the pack. Then you can kind of blow it out. You can straighten it. You can curl it, so you can do a lot of things this one ponytail so yeah. This is how the last one is looking like. I said i just kind of pulled out the curls just because i wanted it to be wavy. I didn't want it to have like a unified curl to it so yeah. This is what it looks like, okay, guys so um. I just wanted to show you guys really quick what i did for this one um. As you guys know, i had it split down the middle like so so all i did was comb the hair over literally just combed it over i'll show you guys, so i did put one of the clippings back in my hair. This is the one that was sitting, so this is how it was, and then the clipping was on this side, so all i did was pull it over and initially it was like this, but i'm like okay, i need a little bit more for me personally. So i just put it right here: i'm gon na add this clip right there and then i just comb it over and together, like so like, so like that there we go, and that's literally all i did like i didn't - do anything crazy to it.
