Quick & Easy Hair Hack For Half Up & Ponytail Hairstyles! Short, Medium, & Long Hairstyles

Hey guys so today i want to show you a hairstyle trick that you can use for a half up, half down hairstyle or just an all back ponytail hairstyle. This will work best on medium and long hair, but it might work for like shoulder length, hair too you'll just have to try and see so let's go ahead and get started, so you just want to make sure your hair is nice and tangle free. Then we're going to create a little section at the top of our head, tie it off into a clear elastic or hair tie, whatever you have give it a little tug and then again, i'm just brushing it making sure it's tangle free and giving it a little Tug again, then, i'm taking a section of hair on each side of that ponytail. We just did and i'm going to cross it over that ponytail and then tie it off into another, clear elastic, and you don't want this ponytail covering that ponytail, the first ponytail. So what you want to do is just take that second ponytail and pull it down a little bit, so it's not just covering it. So since we moved down that second ponytail, it created a little pocket for us, so we're just gon na stick our pointer finger and our middle finger up through that hole and because i'm using my right hand, i'm gon na twist it to the left. And then i'm going to grab the other ponytail with my left hand, hold on to it and then grab it with my right hand and pull it through that little pocket that we created. So then pull it all the way through, and it should end up looking something like this. So i'm just going to tighten the bottom ponytail and it looks a little crazy but we're going to fix it. So you just kind of want to play around with that. At this point, you want to tug on the left side of the half a path down, hairstyle tug on the right side, and what you want to do is that clear elastic that is showing you want to tuck it over the top or tuck it under the Top ponytail to hide it and then i'm going to take a bobby, pin and push it up into that ponytail, and then that is it i'm just going to tighten the top ponytail pinch and pull on the crown on my head to give it some texture. You can tease if you want, i teased a little bit, and this is what it ended up. Looking like, i love this hairstyle. So now i'm just going to pull out some hair in the front to frame my face, and that is it so now, i'm going to show you a low ponytail, so same steps as before, take a section up top tie it off and then, with the remaining Section you want to just split it into two: take that up over that first ponytail and tie another ponytail. So then we want to find that little pocket with that. Second ponytail, so it's a little pocket right above we stick our pointer finger, our middle finger through it. We twist it to the left and then we pull that bottom ponytail through so just pull it all the way through that hole, tighten that bottom ponytail so just give it a nice little tug and then boom. That'S what it looks like, so you just want to play around with your hair at this point pinch and pull, give it some texture pull on the sides, and that is it, give it a little tease and you are good to go whichever hairstyle you choose. If you want to make it more formal, add in some hair accessories and some tighter curls, so that was the video super quick and easy.
