Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today I am giving you oh honey, baby, sultry mmm red lip. You know slick down, low, ponytail, hair, fluffed, okay. This is not. This is not a normal day cheesy, but this is a cheesy that I like, and I think I want to continue to see more so today, I'm gon na be showing you how I achieved this slick, low ponytail. So before we get on with the tutorial, I'm just gon na ask you to do one thing for me: yes, the accent is coming out because you know what I'm about to ask you if you are new hello, if you are not, so you find yourself returning Here, I'm gon na need you to subscribe. Okay, just hit the subscribe button, hit the bell right next to it, Sam nothing's, okay, and we can move on. So if you want to see how I achieved this beautiful look and not the makeup girl, sorry, but if you do want to see how I achieve this style, then keep watching this. So the first thing I'm gon na be doing is moisturizing, my hair, because I am starting with dry hair. So you could totally do this stuff the night before and just spray your hair with water and moisturize and leave it overnight. But I don't have the best time management, so I'm just gon na have to do it all in one step, so I'm using the queue to moisturize my hair and add steam to it, which is equivalent to spring my hair with water, except my hair, doesn't necessarily Get wet, which is great because I don't need my hair fully wet. Then I'm gon na be moisturizing with Camille Rose, Naturals, Moisture butter, I'm trying this product out and just using a little bit, because I can't saturate my hair in products, or else it won't dry. In time, and then I'm gon na comb it out and braid it up, so I'm gon na do this to my entire head and I'm gon na leave it on for about an hour or, however long you want to leave it on for and my hair is Actually going to be quite stretched, you'll see so my braids have been in for about an hour and, as you can see, taking one down my hair is so stretched. It looks so good. This is actually a really good hack for stretching your hair really quickly. So I'm just gon na define my middle part a little more and we're going to be using eco, styler, black, castor and flaxseed oil gel to slick down my hair. So, as you can see, I've sectioned off the very front of my hair cuz, I will be slicking that down separately and to sleek down my hair, I'm just using this brush. It has a beaded head, which I like to really catch my hair and slick it down and flatten my hair as much as possible now to work on the front of my hair, so I'm just gon na comb each side section down. This is a nice trick. If the front of your hair isn't long enough to pull back into a ponytail, so now, I'm going to add gel separately on each side and I'm gon na be using a hard boar, bristle brush to really smooth in and flatten this hair down. And then I'll be taking pins and pinning down the hair, so this has been an old trick that I've been using for a very very long time. Nothing has changed now, I'm just going for a more sleeker look. So lay these edges I'll be using lovely B's edge control. This edge control is actually life like it really lays my hair down and it keeps it there. So it's the best to be honest, the best edge control I've ever used in my life. Granted I've never used Hicks, but I feel like this is comparable. Now we're gon na set our edges by using a silk scarf and I'm just trying it out the back and then I'm adding another scarf to set my entire hair and I'm gon na leave this on for about 30 minutes. Alright, it's been over an hour and time to take down my hair, so girl, I, as you can see, wasn't complete. Oh, oh baby. Okay, like I did not expect my hair to be this slick. Okay. So now I'm gon na be using her giving hair clippings, and this is the kinky hair, texture and 16 inches. So I just read a little bit of water and I'm just gon na comb through it, so that the texture can look a little more realistic and more afro II. And I'm just gon na open the first clip in and clip it onto my hair and wrap. It around my own ponytail and I'm gon na use about three wefts of hair. Just so I can get really really thick hair because I just wanted a large afro in the back and that's about it. I just kept adding hair each time and I would clip the hair wherever I could clip like, even if it was on my ponytail, I was clipping it okay to finish off the look. I'M gon na take a chunk of hair and I'm just gon na wrap. It around ponytail just to give it a more sleek style and to hide the clippings that are showing or the wefts, and that's funny guys.
