I DO NOT OWN THE MUSIC

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today i have the perfect, like protective style, for you like this is like a really spicy like low ponytail and guys. Today'S video is brought to you in collaboration with kaleidoscope. I just washed my hair and now i'm using their milkshake leave-in conditioner and to wash my hair, i use the kaleidoscope, moisture, milk, no moisture, silicary shampoo and their moisture silk conditioner, as well as the kaleidoscope, the answer, five in one reconstructor. I use that because my hair was like really dry and it made my hair extra soft, so i did that and my hair is prepped and ready. I tried like doing a tutorial where i was washing my hair, but guys that was not working out. I just made a mess and it was not recorded properly, so it's not included, but yeah um, i'm gon na go and blow dry, my hair off camera and then we're gon na like come back to get into this tutorial and if you're new to my channel, Like be sure to hit that subscribe button, if you're a returning subscriber like welcome back to my channel and yeah guys, let's get into the tutorial um for my hair, i'm using the kaleidoscope miracle drops the extra strength. One and i've been on a journey where i'm like regrowing my hair, my edges and all that so yeah, i'm now using this one and i'm just putting that on my edges and also on my scalp and then i'm going to just like rub it all in You know get it into my scalp and that, like will stimulate growth, especially like for your edges and stuff. It'S a really really good, like um product and yeah. My hair was blow dried and we're gon na get into the style for the styling portion. This hairstyle guys um, it was inspired by the queen herself. Let me know down below like if you can figure out like who it was inspired by i'm gon na tell you soon, but let me know if y'all like are quick with it. If y'all, you know, know, what's going on so i'm parting, my hair in like half and i'll put the back in like a little ponytail and then the top portion, i'm going to be parting it into multiple sections, so y'all, just gon na have to like watch To see because i really don't know how many sections, the top part was parted in, but i'm gon na part it into multiple sections. First, because pre-parting saves you like a lot of time and parting is like the hardest part. So i had to get that out of the way and then, after the parting is done, we're gon na go in to start doing like the style at the front and yeah. It takes a little minute guys to do the parting like it took me forever, like. It really did. Take me forever to depart my hair this time, but once you get the parting out the way, then the easy part is next. So my hair is separated into two sections and i just put that rubber band on there to kind of like stretch my hair. In the meantime, while i work on the front section - and my part wasn't like that straight - so i just use my mirror to kind of like fix the part at the side and if you're parting, your hair yourself, it's good to like. Do it in front of a mirror and have a mirror behind you, but because i wanted to like record this portion like on camera. I didn't have like a mirror behind me, so i did the best that i could, but the parting isn't bad though i think it was like pretty decent and it's not going to show anyways but yeah guys. This is what i was saying that my hair was parted in sections. I have, let me see four wait. I have eight sections and we're gon na part those into smaller sections, but i put it in eight sections first and what you can do to see the exact like way that i have the hair parted. You could definitely like pause the video and see the sections as to how many sections you would need, and i'm going in with a kaleidoscope, like miracle edges, edge control and that's what i'll be using and i'm gon na part the hair into little smaller sections. This is like a rubber band hairstyle, it's like a spicy rubber band hairstyle, and let me let me let me see if y'all have figured it out yet like where'd. I get this install from for the front section of my hair. Like tell me if y'all haven't seen this somewhere but yeah, i'm just gon na add the rubber band, add the edge control and smooth the end of my hair and then put it in the other section. So, for the first one um, i have three little sections that made the first little rubber band kind of braid vibe, it's not even a braid, but whatever that is so that's the first section and then i'm gon na do the second one, and for this one I think i had four, i parted four squares out instead of um three and, as you go up, you're gon na have more squares, but what i tried to do was to line the parting up on like the previous parts that i had so it makes it Look like way neater and yeah. I'M gon na go in well, i'm gon na keep going in with the edge control, because that's what i'm using for this whole tutorial on my hair and this edge control it has like a medium hold. I wouldn't say it has a really hard hold because it has a medium kind of hold, so it doesn't look like crusty at all. It makes your hair still like looks soft and it doesn't turn white. That'S what i like about this edge control. Actually, it doesn't turn white at all and it's very like moisturizing, so yeah it works pretty good. On my hair, like like as like a gel kind of vibe, because y'all know i don't really do gels because gels make my hair curly. So i'm more of like an edge control, kind of girl or whatever yeah, i use edge control. So that's what i was saying when i was telling you to line your parts up so with the parts like stacked on each other. It looks way neater like when you're done, your hair is going to look like super neat and guys be careful not to like put your rubber bands too tight, because i think i got carried away and i wanted my hair so neat. I just kept fastening the rubber bands and i didn't even realize that it was going to end up being like tight. So when you're doing it just be careful as to not to time rubber bands too much because as you attach them one in the other, it gets tighter and yeah. You don't have to like pull them that tight, because once you put the put the rubber band in, you can just take your hair and like pull it like pull it apart. The end of your hair pull it apart and that tightens the rubber band that tightens the rubber band. So yeah, don't do your hair like too tight like me, but my hair was super neat when i was done so i wasn't really like upset at it. I was loving it, but it was. It was like tight, so yeah, so i'm bringing that section into the other one and i comb the hair out and i try to smooth it as much as possible and because my hair is like really thick. I try to get the edge control all over the hair, so the end of the hair will be smooth when i attach it into the other rubber band, because you don't want it to look like really bulky and ugly. No, you want it to be like as sleek as possible and because i have like type 4 hair. You know my hair is like extra thick. So that's why i blow dried it out at first and that's why i'm going to go in with edge control and i'm going to comb and smooth the end as much as possible. So when i add it into the other section, it's smooth. I hope all of this that i'm saying is making sense but yeah and i'm just going to keep doing that until my section is complete and then i'm going to move on to the other section and guys. This part, this part of the video is very. Like repetitive, this is the hardest part like well, the parting was the hardest part, but like getting the front section done, it took the longest because you have to be doing your parts and you got ta be making sure that the parts are clean because you want It to look neat and the parts are a major key, especially and as well as doing the sections like really smooth and really neat so yeah. This takes the most time the ponytail at the back. That was really quick, so this will take the most time and yeah. This is repetitive. You'Ll see me doing this until the top portion is complete, so you can just like keep on watching. I don't need to like explain anymore with the rubber bands, because it's pretty self-explanatory and guys, as i said, this video is in collaboration with kaleidoscope. You'Ll find the links below to all like the products that i use as well as a coupon code, where you can get 20 off of my coupon code. So definitely like check that out and have you all figured out like who i was inspired by with this hairstyle. Like i don't know, as soon as i started doing my hair, i could tell maybe because i knew who i was inspired by but can y'all tell you it like cannot tell. I might just put it in the thumbnail when i put this video up but yeah. I'M gon na fast forward this little bit because it's like the same thing over and over and yeah i'm gon na keep quiet for a little bit, so y'all can see the rest of the tutorial do so guys. I'Ve completed like majority of my hair and it's looking super neat. It'S looking really good. Tell me y'all, don't like realize where i got this style from okay, so i'm gon na tell y'all in case you still haven't figured it out um. I was inspired by rihanna's like hairstyle, when she um had that fenty skin launch. I really liked how the top portion of her hair looked. It looked really good, but she didn't have a ponytail at the back. She had her hair at the back kind of like just like let leg lit down, and you know i didn't want to do that. So i put my own spin on it but yeah. This is what i came up with um, i'm just doing the last bit. We'Re on the last like what do you call these they're, not braids, but we're like on the last one. I don't know what to call them, but yeah, so we're basically on the last one and then we're going to get into the ponytail bit of it and guys, as i said, don't draw your rubber bands like too tight, because that's what i did. But my hair was still so neat but yeah. I don't pull the rubber bands too tight yeah, so i'm gon na add the edge control and then smooth the first section and then add it into the second section put my ribbon on comb. The ends of the hair out add more edge, control, smooth that out and add it to the third section and then that's it and then i'm going to smooth the end off the last section wow this explaining is is not it, but i'm trying and then after That we're gon na get into the ponytail bit and again guys if you have not like subscribed to my channel yet then what are you waiting on? Please feel free to like subscribe s3 we're getting well, i'm trying to get to 50k will we are trying to get to 50k. You know we a whole family over here and if you haven't like liked this video, yet you can definitely like like it now. You still have time, this is a dope style, so i definitely believe that you should give this video a thumbs up as well as leave me a comment so now that the top portion is finished and it's looking so neat, i'm gon na move on to the Back where i'll do the ponytail and at first i didn't know what kind of ponytail i wanted to be honest, i was gon na do like a drawstring ponytail and then i'm just like nah. I don't want to do that. So i did a braided ponytail with just some braiding hair. I had lying around randomly. I just used that and i created a ponytail. So i'm using this like the edge control and i'm smoothing that over my hair and then just brushing everything together and then i'll put that in a ponytail and as i said, the braiding hair was just some hair that i had laying around. I'M tying the front portion of my hair with them rapid styling strips the ones that i always use, because this makes the hair really smooth, and you know it makes it really neat. So that's the braiding hair that i found and i'm separating it basically where the where it would be like in the middle, where the half would be. I'M attaching that to my ponytail and i'm putting that on top and i'm just resting the other half towards the front of my hair. So i can get the braiding hair and my hair into a ponytail. So i'm gon na go in with a rubber band and i'm going to attach the braiding hair to my own ponytail, and that would be like the little camouflage that i need to cover my hair, and i saw this on - i'm not sure whose channel i saw This on, but i saw this in somebody's like channel in terms of how, to like add the braiding hair, so it blends with yours. This is not like my first time trying a braided ponytail and let me tell you this was the best one. I'Ve ever done like it was so neat. You could not see my hair or anything, so this method definitely works and i'll be using this again whenever i'm doing like a braided ponytail on my natural hair. So i'm going to do that and attach the braiding hair, as you can see, and after attaching it, i will like brush the braiding hair out as well as my hair. So everything is like as wow. Everything is nice and detangled, and after getting everything like smooth and the braiding hair covers my hair, i will flip over the top portion and that will give me more like shelter for my hair, basically so it'll add to my hair and it will cover it. So you won't have my hair like bulging out like that, if that makes sense, so i'm gon na brush that out add my hair over top and really just like get everything smooth and detangled and then i'll split the hair into three sections. Well, not yet i'm gon na take a section of the hair out brush it out and i'll use that to wrap around the base of the ponytail, and i just used like some regular gel and some like some holding spray, and i wrapped it around like as Tightly as i could and that will create like the base of the ponies here and once you have like a firm base, then the braid itself will look so like neat, because this, like makes everything, look, really polished. So that's what i'm doing and once i have that secured i'm going to split the hair into three pieces and to start my braid. I added some of the edge control on my hair and i try my best to tuck my hair under the hair and keep it under the hair as much as possible. So it doesn't stick out or anything and i try to make the braid really tight. So we won't have any of my hair sticking out and yeah i just braid down, and then i started adding in bits of hair. Like i had some extra braiding here, i started just adding pieces as i went along, so the braid was like full all the way down and at first, when i was doing it, the pieces were like too big, so it wasn't as like sleek as i wanted. It to look so i just took it all out and then i started braiding it again, but as i go down, i just add like little bits into the ponytail until i feel like i have the consistency, the consistency that i wanted and then i just braided All the way down and another thing guys like this braid was so nice, but what i messed up in doing is that when i wanted to like put it in hot water, the water was like really really hot and i had it on the stove and i Dipped the hair in it, but i felt like the water was too hot. It made my my ponytail like crumble, up down like a midway, and that made me like super mad. I had to like take it out and try braiding it again, but i didn't have any more braiding hair, so i had to like use the hair that was already like crumbled with the water. It was like kind of burnt up. I had to like still rock it, but the braid was really neat like that much i have to say so the next time i do like a braided ponytail, i won't put it in any hot water like i don't think i need to because look at how Nice that looks but yeah. This is the finished product um. I did my makeup and i tried to salvage my ponytail as much as i could, but the hairstyle itself is just like so neat and yeah. I think i did a really good job, so y'all should leave me a like leave me a comment and, most importantly like subscribe. I can't say that enough and if y'all are feeling this hairstyle, then you should definitely definitely like. Tell me in the comments like. Let me know sis if this is something that you like. This is something that you'll try and all the information for the products will be listed in the description bar.
