Quick Hairstyles, Ponytail Hair Knot

We've had questions about how we get our little baby/toddler niece to hold still for the hairstyles we have posted with her on our hair site. As you'll see in this hair knot video... we don't have any special tricks. She doesn't hold still! If you are hairstyling baby hair, just work quick and don't worry about it turning out perfect. It's supposed to be fun, not stressful. :)
Of course, this hairdo doesn't have to be just for tiny heads. Big girls can wear it as well!

Okay, today, we have a guest appearing on our blog, and this is my niece. She just barely turned one and we're going to do a baby hairstyle on her, and I have our princess down here entertaining her. This is kind of what we have to do to keep her still, but I started just by spraying some water on her hair and then I'm parting out kind of a box on top of her head, I'm going to spray a little bit more water, okay and Then we're going to part this box in half diagonally, so starting from one corner and going to the other corner, making a diagonal part when you're working with babies, you just kind of have to deal with them, move it around because they're not going to hold still So just work as fast as you can I'm putting a ponytail down at this bottom corner: okay, like this top corner, you're going to split just hair in half and then just tie it into like a half of a knot, just like you're tying a shoe like That pull it down and then these two ends you're going to combine them together, just add them in to that first ponytail. Okay! So here's what it looks like on top we've got a little knot that goes back into a ponytail and then I'm just gon na add a bow to finish it off. You, you
