This hair tutorial will show you how to create a 2 strand braid. Although this is a very basic hairstyle, the results look different every time depending on how evenly you part the right strand before you pull the opposite strand through. Some might think this looks like a regular 3 strand braid but upon close inspection, it actually resembles a chunky fishtail braid. :) This everyday hairstyle can be done on straight to wavy hair and it's perfect for school or play! Hey guys in this video I'm going to show you how to do this quick and easy two strand braid that anyone can do so. Let'S begin, first off, I'm going to gather my hair into a high ponytail and tie it up. If high ponytails give you a headache, then I would recommend doing a side braid instead, because it creates less tension for the braid. You want to divide your hair into two equal sections. Next use your index finger to create a part in the middle of one of the strands. Then what you want to do is take the opposite strand and pull it through pull on the two strands very tightly. Then repeat, the same steps create a part with your index finger. Stick your thumb in and pull the opposite strand through and that's all there is to it. You basically repeat the same steps until you reach the end of your ponytail. When you reach the end, tie it up with an elastic fans, finally tug on the edge of the braid, to give it some volume. As you can see, this is a little bit different from a regular three-strand braid and every time I do this.
