Hairstyles For Round Faces (Parting, Braid, Ponytail, Bun, Half Up Half Down, And Bangs)

This is Songhwa and I hope you are having an amazing week so far! Today I compiled a few hairstyles/tips that I find useful for my round face, so hopefully they are helpful for you too if you also have a round face!
ALSO, just letting you know that YOU are beautiful regardless of your face shape!

If you are struggling with having a round face, i'm just letting you know that you are not alone hi everybody. This is song. Thank you guys for coming in and joining me today, um. So, as you can see from the title today, i'm going to be showing you guys a few hairstyle slash tips for people with round faces like me, um and having a round face is not bad, because if you do have a round face, you go girl or You go boy because you're looking cute, but because i know the struggle of having a round face. I know it's so hard to find a hairstyle that really suits you, and i know people have different perspectives of what's considered ground, but i personally think i'm on the rounder side, as many people do tell me. So without further ado. Let me show you guys some hairstyles that make me look. Slimmer, first is that i don't recommend doing a middle parting, because the sides are flatter, so your cheeks are obviously going to protrude outwards, which is why i recommend a six to four side parting, because it gives you volume and covers one side of your cheek. But if you can rock middle parting lucky you next, i don't recommend doing a braid from the top of your head because at the end that will make your sides lose volume which you really don't want, especially when you have a wide face. So that's why? I don't recommend this. Instead, i recommend doing a side braid so first part your hair to the side and make sure to leave your bangs out so that it frames your face. One tip is to take big chunks, because if you take small chunks that can make your hair tight and tighter braids usually make your face. Look wider and now we're just gon na keep pulling pulling pulling outwards so that you can create volume. The more volume on the top of your head, the longer your face, appears and your face looks slimmer. Because of that, so i recommend doing a low braid, meaning starting your braid from the middle part of your head, because that allows you to have a very loose kind of braid, which is really good for slimming down your face. Also, don't forget to loosen your braids. So your braid is not too tight and also keep your bangs out so that it can frame your face. Low braids are great because the overall direction of your hair is downwards and low, which gives you the effect of a slimmer and elegant look moving on. I know you want to pull all your hair back when you're doing a ponytail, but please don't do this because you might end up putting all the focus to your face, making it appear even bigger, so i recommend doing a high ponytail just move the knot forward For volume on the top tighten the ponytail and then just keep pulling for even more volume once again pull forward and tighten now, i don't look too bald anymore next. This is my go-to, but i always do low ponytails, just because i really like that loose messy kind of look, because that really distracts people from looking at my big face. So if you don't want to put bangs just make sure you put your side hairs out and tug outwards for more volume and don't worry if it's too messy it's going to be okay and now buns. Ah, it makes me so upset because sometimes doing buns make me look bold and my face look even chubbier, so i always go for high buns. Just take three fingers put it through your pony wrap the hair around your three fingers, and then you just tie it up, and this um method that i learned really really gives you that fuller, bigger and looser bun, which does a great job in putting more length To the top of your head, volume is key for round faces. I literally do this bun every single day, and if you watch this, it might make you go like what. But if you watch this carefully, you'll get the hang of it and eventually it'll be pretty easy, so just practice it if you're still confused after watching this low buns make you look slimmer because it makes the focus downwards, which once again, is great for elongation alrighty. So for half up half down, please, please just don't tie everything back because it will make the top of your head flat. So go for a lower half up half down with the natural look using a hair, clip or claw, and this will loosen your bangs and that will frame your face. Doing a high half up and half down is also pretty good. Just make sure you keep some baby hairs and bangs out and also do the same method pull forward and tighten to create the volume on your top of your head also try to make it as high as possible, because that will make your face look smaller. Lastly, i'm going to talk about bangs, try not to go for short bangs above your nose, because that's going to expose your cheeks and you won't have any hair to cover your cheeks so go for long bangs below your chin, because then your face can look longer And it can be used to cover up your cheeks and that's the end of this video thank you for watching, and i hope you found this somewhat helpful and if you did like it, please give me a like and subscribe and i'll see you guys next time.
