Diy Ponytail Haircut | Easy Short Shaggy Bob Tutorial

The DIY ponytail haircut is hit or miss, in a pinch, it can work. Here's my easy short shaggy bob tutorial, cutting my hair from a pony tail. You can see it came out really stacked, Brad Mondo's tip is to pull the ponytail a bit lower so you don't cut at such a drastic angle as I did, which required a lot of trimming afterwards! All in all, it was quick and fun and grew out nicely!

This is gon na, be hilarious, wow, that's a lot of hair. The hope is that this diy haircut will actually be super cute and easy and fun. I'Ve only done my own haircut once before, and this time i'm going to try a new technique. The idea behind it is you pull it back, see how long that hair is so it'll just naturally create this like a frame. That'S the idea to be able to cut your own hair and have it come out all right, or even it's kind of exciting save a lot of money. Have some fun. It'S just hair. Here we go. This will either be a hair tutorial or a warning story. Hardened in the middle ish, smooth straight back, not doing any like crazy waves. Oh my gosh! I don't know how short i want to do it. It keeps falling out really not good scissors. This is going to be hilarious guys over here. Okay, i'm cutting no idea. How'S it going super slow cut in here like taking forever. Oh, my arms are getting tired. Okay, how do we do wow? That'S a lot of hair. Now, i'm gon na. Take it off all right. I don't know in the back uh it's exactly the same in the front because really didn't cut off any length here. I may trim that up a little. Oh gosh. I don't think that came out very good in the back. I can fill it. That'S not bad! I'M going to like trim this up here, trim it up, trim it up, just trimming it up here sure sure. Oh, my oh bye! What do you think i'm like becoming the queen of the five minute diy cut? I'M done. I need to get a proper mirror. What do we think choppy? I like it in a pinch guys, the ponytail bob actually works. Darlene Naccarato: You are so delightful! so joyful and BRAVE! lol i have done this and u r right the pony should be lower to avoid so much trimming i loved how it came out and I did trim the sides down a little because it was a big contrast You look so good with those short bangs I have been cutting my own hair too for at least 10 years I watch tutorials and videos like yours I think it is fun to try new things I take it slow and careful and am usually pretty happy with the results The pony tail is a great hack to get this done easily!

Ummm Okay: This haircut is Professionally called a STACKED SWING BOB. You should take trimmers and clean up your neckline and create a small arch. Then take vertical 1" partings starting at the crown and working your way all around the head and use a 45 degree angle and trim it; the bottom should be shorter than the top to create a natural undercut and to smooth out the puffiness where the taper is. With some polishing, this could be an awesome haircut. Good job. PS Cute Betty Page bangs. Point cut in the center to smooth them out...a little heavy in the center. You should go to school...you'd make some EXCELLENT $$$ if you learn the 4 basic haircuts and how to polish and style. I do really well just cutting hair alone but it has taken 20 years to have the confidence to cut, color, perm, highlight and create anything!
