How To* Headband Bun & Ponytail Wig//Hot Glue Gun Method #Crochetwig

Welcome back to the channel hope all is well my amazing fam in today's video. I will be doing a remake of my crochet wig bun ponytail unit. I'M using my canvas head and i will be using the length roller to tape the canvas head that will protect it from the glue. The hair that i'm using is the hello girl single east twist color 1b27. I purchased this at my local beauty. Supply store. The cap that i'm using is the headband wig cap. I purchased this one on amazon and, of course, you're going to need a glue gun and glue sticks. I purchased my black glue sticks as well on amazon, and you can't forget about the finger caps. I always need my finger caps all right. Let'S take this canvas head, uh, okay, y'all, i'm not good at explaining things! That'S why i rather show you, but right now i'm just securing the cap onto the mannequin head, just making sure that it's positioned the way i want it. So y'all y'all, just gon na, have to keep watching because your girl is not good at explaining, but i'm doing my best. I also want to mention that to achieve this style, you do not have to use the glue gun. You can also achieve this style by sewing it down or if you have the regular goo glue like the bonding glue, you can use that as well. I prefer to do it this way, because i'm making a unit for myself. But if i want to sell this on one of my platforms, then i would probably sew the hair down using needle and thread so there's different ways that you can achieve this style now. Right now, i'm just going to go ahead and mark off my guideline just to see where i want to place. My braids at that'll give me an idea on where to stop as i'm gluing. Okay, i want to give a quick tip when you placing your braid onto the cap. You do not need a lot of glue when you put a lot of glue onto the cap. That'S when you have a lot of glue, residue and it'd be like real messy. That'S why i use the glue gun that has the small hole. I have better control on how much glue comes out of the glue gun. So when you placing the hair onto the cap, you want to make sure you just have a small amount of glue use. Your finger caps, if you have them and press down real firmly onto the cap, the finger caps is going to protect your finger from the hot glue as well as help ensure that that braid is attached to that cap. As you can see further down in the video i take my time i single piece every single braid all around the cap, then i go back through and attach the braid completely down to the cap. So i hope you guys understand what i just said, because you know your girl just be all over. The place looks like so. Yes, yes, three! So yes, three, okay, you guys. So what i'm doing is just testing out my wig unit on my mannequin head and, if you really wanted to you can stop at this point. It'S totally up to you. You still will be able to achieve the style of the bun or wig ponytail, but i'ma go ahead and finish the unit and glue it down so stay tuned to part two, your your braids all the way up to the top. You want that cap to stretch, so you want to keep the middle open. So when you put it on your head, it'll be able to stretch you
