High Ponytail Doll Wig [ Rarity Mlp ]

Hello you guys! I am here to present you how I made the Rarity wig. It's a Megara inspired wig because of how thick it is and how it is mainly styled. If you are having problems making your yarn wefts thicker, then try this process when it comes to ponytails. Its a good way to cheat the style and get the exact length you want.

Hey guys, what's up and welcome back to my channel for this video, I will show you guys how I made rarities wig so off-camera. I actually already made a wood cabin and also processed, although the West, that I will be meeting so we are ready to glue it on so I know most people will use glue, all or white glue or you know other types of glue, but for me because I have no patience at all. I use hot glue for the wig making process and I pretty much just glue the weft on the perimeter of her wig. I do try to glue the West as close to the tip of the wig cap as possible, just so that it doesn't show much and then I go ahead and take all of those weft and I pull it to the back to create a ponytail. So this is a good way to not make it so bulky. I don't really cover the entire wig cap with less, because that's just going to make the the scalp look look really really bumpy and for wigs they're, all pretty much a permanent style they're, not really resealable. So that is why this is much easier to do and for those who are wondering from my other video, this hairstyle for rarity is heavily inspired by Megara pony tail. Before rarity, I felt like a character is going to be really sassy and she will like move a lot and I'm really really obsessed with, like giant oversized ponytail for some reason so to make the pony tail thicker, I'm actually taking different web. I think I added ten West in total to make the base of the ponytail I'm very, very thick and I'm also taking my metal chopstick and I'm actually just curling it. So at this point the ponytail has five layers of a new West just to make that oversized a big, thick ponytail and I'm just curling it and brushing it through to blend everything in and, as you can see over here, I'm kind of folding it in place. So that it forms into these sculpts that I wanted to have so now, the ponytail looks a lot longer and thicker at the bottom as well and I'll show you guys what I did later, but I'm not just curling everything in between using a brush. Be careful not to burn anything and I'm just kind of a creating texture onto the ponytail so that later on, when I actually do style it, it's going to look good. So now I'm going to be working on the bangs, which was kind of a mistake on my part, I should have added this piece in the beginning before I pull everything back, because now I have to kind of blend it together. So it looks realistic and I use two F for the bank card and obviously we have to style it and cut it. So now the hairstyle is kind of taking place and it's looking really good. I'M going to show you guys how I actually was able to make this look thick and really long, so here in the back, I actually added and layered more wet on to the actual wig. So you have layers here on the bottom and it's all faded in together, so that it looks seamless and it looks long. But the main concern for wig making in terms of using yarn is that you can't really make them too long or else they'll break apart. And that was such a challenge for this wig, because her wig needed to be reaching below her shoulders. And I didn't really care that it was going to be glued onto the actual wig, because this style is going to be permanent anyway and only rarity is going to happen so right now, I'm just using a mini iron to kind of set everything in place. There are a lot of flyaways, so I just want that. Sleek clean look for the ponytail and I'm also doing some editing towards the hairstyle, but I loved how it turned out. I think it looks amazing and also the bangs looks amazing. Everything else looks amazing and I'm actually really really proud of the outcome of this week. So at first I was actually going to make a tiara for her using the diamonds and the jewels, but then she's not really a princess, and I felt like it didn't really represent her character. So I'm just using glitter glue to give her hair some possess, and now we are finally done with rarities wig and I hope you guys enjoyed the process of this wig making. I think you should really do a doll inspired by characters from it just to experiment. Since your dolls are all pretty, have big beautiful eyes and lushes, doing characters from this cartoon( except Queen and her friends from fashion club) as dolls would really make a big contrast and give you big experience in doll repainting. Well, if you don't wanna make a doll, but you've never watched the cartoon, then please, go check it out. The thing is.. Daria isn't just smart cartoon about girl, who doesn't have friends( except Jane), has a stupid sister, reads books and hates the world. Daria is a story about this smart girl and how she grows up. In the end of the last season it becomes really sad and you ( as well as the main character) feel a little lonely, depressed and very overthinking about everything. This cartoon really means a lot to me, showed me and taught me a lot of things that I didn't notice or didn't want to notice. To understand the idea of this cartoon you need to watch every single episode, but watching the 1st a and the last season to see the difference. The main thing is seeing Daria BECOMING Daria that she was in the end. Sometimes I become very sad that I wasn't born several years before my real birth just because I wasn't the person who was watching the show as it was coming out. I would be very thankful to you if you notice this comment and really watch this legendary ( to me) cartoon show.
