Hey there welcome back to hidden crowns Channel. I am so excited for this video. I have been rocking this hairstyle for weeks now and absolutely loved it, and I've been so excited to show you how to do it with our brand new hidden crown clip-ins here. It is the perfect pony towel now. You all know that my hair is short then, and fine, and definitely could never rock a ponytail like this, even if my hair was long because it's so fine and thin, but look at how amazing this is. It'S super easy to do very natural and it's not even a pony tail extension, which is I'm gon na, go into details and facts about what the difference between a pony tail extension is and how it looks opposed to something like this. That'S way more natural. Alright, let's go ahead and get into this video if you want to rock this pony tail, alright guys. So here I have an actual pony tail extension. This is just a generic one that I purchased online, but this is how they're designed I have actually seen many brands pony tail extensions, they're versions, and they all look just like this. I'M sure there's some variances and difference, but very slight. So what you see here is that this gets, you know hooked into your pony tail, and then you wrap this around now. My first concern with this design is that that this is velcro the few times that I've actually put this on and worked with it to figure it out. My hair got tangled in this, and so did a lot of this hair. It was very hard to keep it clean and out of the velcro, and the second part is how it goes on to your pony tail, especially if you have a skinny little pony tail like me, because I have very fine thin hair. Is that it really? It'S so heavy that it just pulls on your hair, and so it's very uncomfortable and then my biggest concern, even aside from it being painful, is the fact that it's very costumey, it's very, very retro, looking as you can see in the photo of it on me. It'S extremely retro, very Austin Powers costume, it's just very unnatural looking, and I don't know that if I were to purchase this that I would actually end up wearing it. Another big point is, as you can see in the photo it does not match. This is color number 16 color number 60. Is the lightest blonde? It'S actually the color that I could wear color number 60 by itself and match my hair perfectly, even though I love wearing color number 68 with the low light. But this is color number 60 and you can see how unnatural and how it doesn't match at all to my hair. Now, the reason being for that, too, is not just that this one is toned very, very yellow. It'S not very cool platinum blonde, but the other reason why it's hard to match this design of extension is the fact that it sits right next to your scalp. So for us, women that highlight and low-light our hair from brunettes all the way to blonds you're, going to have a very difficult time finding the right color match in a design like this, because it sits right next to your routine and majority of us that highlight And low-light our hair, our roots, like the hair that sits closest to our scalp, is generally darker, because you have either a shadow rooting of your natural regrowth or lowlights, and highlights going on and tend to be where our hair at the ends is a little bit. Lighter nowadays, so those are four huge concerns and challenges that you're gon na come across with the traditional pony, ponytail style extension this. So let's go ahead and get into this perfect ponytail, I'm so excited I've been wearing this almost daily because of how cute it is. How fast it is to do and how comfortable it is to get started. I'M going to part my hair, it doesn't have to be perfect and I'm going to part a circle of my hair up kind of like a ponytail in the center of your head and you're gon na pull all this hair up, you're gon na clip it somewhat Close to your head, so it's out of the way in the center just like so so, I'm going to start with the quad volumizer the longest track out of the three and holding it just like this. I'M gon na put my head upside down and then right across the back here is where I'm going to clip it and I'm going to clip it backwards. So it's going to be going that way instead of hanging off the back of my head, just like so so see how the extension is upside down, then I'm going to take it and let it drop. The greatest thing about head and chrome clip ends is that the clips are actually a little bit different than traditional Clips, their comfort Clips, so they grab on and they don't pull and move around very much, which is amazing, because clipping extensions can tend to hurt a Lot: okay, so going on to the side pieces. So now one side piece is going to clip on to right here on this side and the other is going to clip on to right here. So the way I do this is I just drape it over my head like so clip and then clip you don't want it, you don't want it bunching off of you either like making it. Then I just let it cascade this way. So taking the last one, I'm going to clip it right along here, so I'm going to drape it like so so upside down, they're clipped along this area of hair that I have penned up. It doesn't have to be perfect but try to get it as clean as possible clipped on just so that you, none of your hair, is pulled in the process of wearing it. This way and whatnot, okay, so taking the clip off, let all your hair down. So before I go to pull it up into a ponytail one thing that I have to do because I have very fine thin hair. Is I go along the hair? That'S laying down right. That'S not that wasn't pulled up! It'S the hair around the perimeter! That'S going to be covering the clips going into the ponytail, I like to tease the routing of this, because it helps mask the clippings right under so see how the hair comes right over the clippings, like that. So I just go around my head and pick up the hair, that's right below the clip and I'm just teasing the root area so that when I pull all the hair up, it's going to hide the weft. The base of the clips of the West and trust me: I had to learn how to do this. Ladies, so it may look quite difficult to some of you, but I promise you it's very, very easy to do. Just keep practicing and working at it and you'll get this, because this is a perfect ponytail. This is by far one of my favorite hairstyles to do now, and it's super quick once you get it down. Okay. So now I look like a weirdo, but so all the hair is, you know, kind of draped in an odd fashion. So now you want to flip all your hair forward and you do need a ponytail holder. That'S really thick like these flipping your hair forward. Just like so gather all your hair into your hand. It'S not gon na be perfect at first. So, ladies just keep in mind, you have to groom your hair when styling it. So you can use your hidden crown comb to groom any bumps or smooth any hair that you need. Then you're just gon na go ahead and create the ponytail, and then I like to pull it back a little bit so that I can get some volume and to create that really pretty fountain ponytail that we all desire that looks supernatural so looking at side-by-side. The the pictures of the generic ponytail extension on me opposed to this option. It'S mind boggling how different it is and how much more natural this type of ponytail is with the hidden crown clip ends honestly, and the greatest thing is: is that the hidden crown clip-ins come in 14? 16. 18. 20. 22 inch. So you can have the perfect ponytail in any length that you want even the 14 inch. That'S gon na be the most natural-looking one and it's amazing. I absolutely love it. As you can see, super cute very, very sturdy on my hair is not being pulled, and it's super comfortable just keep in mind that some people scalps can get a little sensitive. So holding your hair in a ponytail all day can cause discomfort. It'S just varies per person and how you apply the clippings into the ponytail as well, but I mean come on. Ladies. This is amazing. I have been wearing a crown topette for 5yrs and got tired of the same look all the time and I absolute love pony tails and really started missing the look, I tried it with my topette but the sides looked too funny. Jessica Wilson: I get a headache when I wear my wire 22in layers :( The wire cuts into my head and it kills me. I've been messing with it and I guess I just didn't have it fitted right?
