Easy Hairstyle For Natural Hair (Clip In Ponytail) | Honest Inh Hair Review

Hey guys, it's taya and today i'm extremely excited because i'm doing my first review video, so a brand name insert name here reached out to me and wanted to send me not one but two ponytails to review for you guys. If you guys don't know what insert name here is they are a brand that provides a high quality hair extension clip clipping ponytails buns and wigs i'm going to show y'all how i clip in the ponytails, how i prepare my natural hair for a sleek ponytail yeah Stay tuned, so the ponytails they sent me are called the brit and the shayla ponytail and i'll have a picture up here to show you what they look like, but this is how i already opened it. Of course i was like too excited, but the packaging. This is what it looks like it's 100 recyclable also comes with this really cute bag. This is where your hair comes in. I forgot to mention that it comes with a scrunchie and two bobby pins. I just lost one, but you guys can use my code taiya10 for 10 off, so i'm going to show you guys what the ponytails look like. So this is the shayla ponytail. It is made of japanese synthetic fiber. It is synthetic, so i would not recommend putting heat on it. It is available in eight shades, and the great thing about insert name here is that their customer service is amazing and they make it easy for you. So all you have to do is message them in order to get a color matching, so i think they matched me good. Honestly. The next ponytail i have is the brits ponytail, and this one is a straight ponytail with some curl at the end like a loose wave at the bottom, and this is going to be perfect, for when my hair is straight and it's starting to get really oily And i have nothing to do with it. You all know. It also feels very, very soft. It'S another synthetic one. It'S made out of a japanese synthetic fiber as well, and this pony comes in ten different shades, starting off by applying the shayla ponytail. Just because my hair is curly right now, it's natural! It'S not straightened, so this one's obviously going to look better on my hair. So first i'm going to start by detangling my hair. So here i'm just detangling, i'm spraying a little bit of water and brushing from my ends to my roots, and i did it in four sections just to prevent as much breakage as possible. Okay, so i'm going to add some of this repair. Anti-Breakage cream. I mean serum, not cream, because every time i put my hair in a ponytail i'm putting tension on my hair, and i just want to make sure i don't like break a lot of it off. So i'm trying to put it around where ponytail is going to be so recently i've been loving, like a middle part, kind of mid height ponytail, so maybe like right here, i'm going to be using this pattern. Beauty strong hold gel okay. So i take my gel and kind of put it in an upwards motion, just where i want my ponytail and i'm taking my denman brush and brushing to smooth everything out um. I didn't use like a bristle brush just because my hair is wet. It can break easier, so the bristle brush is sometimes a little bit too harsh on it, and it doesn't take a lot for my hair to get smooth and i also didn't want it extremely smooth because i've been wearing a lot of ponytails and i'm trying to Just you know avoid breakage, then i just twist my hair and put it in a bun. It has a clip right there, and then you put this clip part in to your. The top of your ponytail also has this velcro that you're supposed to connect to the opposite side. I will be honest. I do not like the velcro part of this, mainly because my base of my ponytail is pretty thick. So a lot of the velcro is left exposed onto my hair. If that makes sense - and it's like hurts to get off if it gets stuck on your hair, it can break your hair off um. That'S the only thing i don't like about the ponytail, so you just have to be really careful in making sure your hair isn't getting on the velcro so guys i actually found a way to prevent the velcro from snagging on my hair, i'm using my wrap it Up junior styling strips i'll link it down below and i just make like um what is it like a border around my ponytail, so that i can avoid the velcro sticking on my hair, and i thought this was genius even though it's not you can also just Use a scarf to do that, but yeah i just connect the velcro and then twist the extra piece around to hide the strip after securing the piece of hair with a bobby pin or two i'm just doing my baby hair, and this is obviously preference. So do them, however, you want to and i'm using the god to be. No, i'm not! No, no, i'm sorry, i'm using the um, i'm using the style factor edge, booster, to slick my edges down and a toothbrush okay, so the shayla ponytail is on and i'm feeling like a bad okay. I really like this texture on this hair so except for the best look to brush it out, so i'm just brushing it out. It'S extremely soft and it's like easy to work with. I can run my fingers through it pretty easy um. I just combed it out, and that was really easy to do as well. You can also spray it back with water, so it can get curly but yeah overall, i really really like it only thing i don't like is the velcro. That'S a little hard to work with i'm gon na try the brick ponytail on it's gon na. Probably look very weird just because my hair isn't straight right now, so just bear with me. I just want to show y'all what it looks like and then, obviously, when my hair is straight, i'm going to be wearing that ponytail. This time i didn't use the styling strips, because clearly i felt like a pro, but i still do recommend that you use them just to protect your natural hair and the same process for this wrap the piece around and secure it nice. This ponytail is so cute here i'll show. Y'All, look, isn't that so cute, it just kind of like falls and drapes really nicely. Oh my i love this one. It obviously is not fitting for my hair right now, but my hair is straight. I will definitely be rocking this ponytail um. One thing that i have heard about synthetic hair is try not to like run your fingers through it, a lot which i'm kind of doing um, but just to kind of prolong the longevity of it. So this one, since it is straight, it doesn't hide my little bun as well, so i would have to make a way better, bun, really so cute, i'm obsessed with this one. It'S just so soft and shiny love it okay! So, overall, i really really love these ponies. I really love the style of these ponies, they're. So cute look. This is my first like i said my first time getting synthetic hair and the quality is really really really good, like very good, insert name, hair hair. I think it's definitely worth your money. If you can afford it, get it. If you can't afford it, you don't need it. However, your ponytail looks you're cute um, but i think if you want to just like spice up your looks, switch some things up, they're really cute. They have so many different styles too. So, if you don't like these styles, go, try out another one, um so yeah.
