Hey guys welcome to my channel at Rica Dorn. So first thing you want to do is make sure your hair is detangled and I'm gon na do triangle parts, but the first part you have to do is I'm gon na do a square first, and so I'm just going to section my hair off and what You want to do is put the rest of your hair in a ponytail, so it doesn't get in the way which I did it into here. But I'm gon na use the Shia's balm edge control, and this is just gon na make sure that I don't have any frizz or anything like that when I put my hair in the ponytail or in the rubber band. So this is how it looks like when I do the first section and then I'm gon na part, my hair again - and this is where the triangle starts. It doesn't have to be super perfect in the back, because the hair will be in a ponytail, but you just want to make sure that you do your best to do really nice triangles and then you're gon na take half of your previous rubberband ponytail and then You'Re gon na add it into this second part. So here I use the Shia's balm edge control again and then I'm going to use a blue rubber band and go ahead and tie it as tight, as you can in here, basically you're repeating the same process over and over again just making triangles and then you're Going to once again use the edge control to smooth out any frizz and then once again, you're going to take half of the other rubberband ponytail and then you're going to add it into the next one. So you're gon na see me suction off this middle piece and put it up for later, because I like to start with the corners before I work like to work my way from the corners to the top of my head. So here I'm just going to pre section my parts, which will make it easier for me compared to how I did it on the other side. So here we're left with our last section and that for this one you're not going to add it in to any other ponytail you're just going to leave this one by itself. Now, moving on, I'm just gon na take some water to help detangle my hair better and I'm gon na go ahead and put all my rubber band pieces together and put my hair up in a high ponytail and honestly, if you don't want to add hair, you Can really just leave this as a hairstyle alone if you want to wear your hair curly and then just have your hair up in a ponytail, which is also a great style. But I am gon na continue to do my ponytail extension and I know a lot of people gon na say why do I need a ponytail extension, because my hair is long? My hair is not 24 inches, which is why I decided to do a ponytail extension and also I don't want to put heat on my hair. So it's a great protective style. So to do that, I'm gon na take the foam mousse. You could take any type of foam, and this is just gon na make it easy for me to braid my hair, especially since my hair is long. I'M in thick, I'm gon na really try my best to get my hair as detangled as possible. So I'm gon na show you guys how I braid my hair, so I'm gon na use my Tim and brush detangle it one more time and then I'm going to braid from the top all the way down to the bottom. So before I move on with my ponytail, I'm just going to use the ultra gossipy glue gel and I'm just gon na make sure everything is laying flat and there's no frizz. So this is just gon na smooth everything out and make everything look more well-put-together. So I'm just adding a tiny tiny bit just to anywhere that I think that needs a little bit more and then I'm using the hairspray just to set everything. And then I'm gon na do my edges first. So I'm still using that same edge control and I'm gon na use my edge control brush and I'm gon na go ahead and lay my baby hairs, and I got to do this step first because, while I'm doing my ponytail, I can wear my scarf and have My edges to be already laid by the time I finished my ponytail, so that's why I went ahead and did this step first, even if you don't plan on laying your edges, you should still wear a scarf because we're going to use track glue to put on The ponytail extension, so it prevents any glue from getting on to your real hair in here. Since my hair is long, I'm going to fold my braid into half and then I'm going to take some rubber bands to help keep it in place and further hair extension. I'M gon na be using wiggins, hair and 24 inches and I'm using two bundles and to protect my hair from the track glue. I'M gon na use the baggie method, which is basically where you take a plastic bag, and you wrap your hair around it and to secure I'm gon na use several rubber bands first, starting with the top all the way to the bottom, just to make it secure And you want to squeeze slip rubber band because number ban squeeze the bag because sometimes air gets built up inside of it. So you want to make sure everything is flat and secure and then any excess part of the plastic bag. You just wan na use some scissors and cut it cut it all off and I'm going to use some track glue here and I'm going to actually put the track glue directly onto the bag instead of gluing it onto the tracks. So then, I'm gon na take my hair and then I'm gon na just wrap it around over and over again till I get all the way to the top. So I just want to talk a little bit about this hair. While you guys watch me do this. This hair, I actually already double wefted, so I floated the track in half and then I'm glued it. That way, it's much more fuller and it's less wrapping and I went ahead and dyed this hair black, because the hair comes in that natural brown color and since my hair is naturally very dark. I wanted it to match and I pre curled the hair just using a curling wand, and I truly do really love this hair because it holds its cold pattern very very well, and it looks really really nice once you brush it all out. So I used fully all two bundles and all the hair links will be down in the description box. So you guys can check out their page to see if you want to try the hair out. But yes, so I'm just going to continue gluing the tracks. So I get all the way to the top and finally, the last thing you wan na do is grab a piece of hair from the back and you're just gon na wrap it around the base of the ponytail just to hide any of the tracks. Honestly, I did the most. You really didn't have to take glue, so you blew it down. You can literally just take a bobby pin, but sometimes the bobby pins like don't really hold it very secure and unravel. So that's why it took glue. But this is the final look. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you guys have any questions. Please leave them down in the disc in the comment box and thank you guys all so much for watching.
