New Method! How To Install A Ponytail Extension (Pt 2)

So today, I'm coming with another pony tail extension video. I will link my old ones on the description box if you guys want to check that old one out, but the reason why I made an updated one was because I had so many questions about that old synthetic pony, tail extension that I had previously now this One you're seeing right now is completely 100 % human hair. Now I constructed this pony tail unit myself. I will link the first part of the video also down in the description box and probably somewhere up at the corner of this video. Now, before I show you guys how I do my hair, I really wanted you guys to listen to what I'm saying before I get to that part, because it will all play a role on how you install your pony tail extension. Now. The first things first is that I have naturally thick hair. Now, if you guys watch my videos previously, you know I have very thick curly hair now, a lot of pony tail extensions that are out there honestly is to extend the length of your hair. Now my hair is thick and long, but I still want my hair to be even longer. So that's why I decided to make my own pony tail section, because one all the pony tail extensions that are out there for the most part are synthetic. You always have the drawstring, where you got to put up your hair and a little tiny ass button, where my hair cannot fit into a tiny bump, because my hair is really really thick. So I'm gon na go ahead and show you what it looks like real, quick and also. This is not only for people with big hair. You can also put your hair in a little bun if you're, just looking for a human hair ponytail or how to make your own ponytail. That would probably definitely be easier for you. You can definitely skip a few other steps. Keep watching to see how I install this gorgeous ponytail, what I'm gon na do. First, let's go ahead and part. My hair, however way I want to part it so I'm gon na take a comb like this. I'M gon na do a side, part okay, so I'm just going to show you how I decided to part my hair, I'm not sure if you can see it, but that's how I parted it. So I'm gon na go ahead and now stick the spray bottle and basically try my best to get the top part of my head to be as flat as possible. And then I'm gon na go ahead and put it into a ponytail. I'M gon na go ahead and take my let's jam extra hold and just go ahead and put a lot of that on top of my head just to smooth it down, and then you can go in with any kind of gel that you have so I'm just Using this gel by edon, it really doesn't matter what job anything that you have, but like gives your hair some extra hold. This would be the time you want to use that and then the last job going in is with my ultra blue gel. This just really gives extra extra hold. I'M also going to use this on my baby here, all right so for the part that you guys all been waiting for hops to the ponytail extension part. So, basically, I created this unit myself, it's basically just a ponytail holder. It has a comb on it and then a long piece that you wrap with velcro. You have to watch part one like I mentioned in the beginning before you can get to this, because I showed a step-by-step video on how to make this part of it. So the only thing I didn't show on when I made it was, I basically found a spot that I wanted to and I cut a slit going sideways without cutting any of the hair. Now this hole here is where my hair will be inserted. Okay, guys I'm gon na voice over, so I can explain what I'm doing more in depth. So what i'm doing here is splitting my ponytail into half and then what i'm gon na do is use the top part of my ponytail as leave out and then the bottom half is going to be wrapped up into a little button. So here i'm just gon na spray, some water just to dampen up my hair and help kind of braid more neatly, i'm just gon na do one braid and try to braid pretty tight, so it can form into a small button. So, as you see here, i'm gon na go ahead and braid it, and then i put a rubber band at the end of it and then i'm going to use another rubber band to make it to form into a button. Then I'm going to take the leave out down from the top of my head and I'm gon na take the leave all into a very loose just quick braids. This just makes it easier for my braids to slip inside the hole of the ponytail extension now going ahead and taking the hole in this. I'M going to go ahead and place my hair inside of it and then also you need to place your bone inside too, and then what I'm going to do is take the leave out that we loosely braided and just unbraid. It mmm just blend it in with the rest of the ponytail extension, so give the pony tail extension more security, I'm gon na take the calm place that down inside my hair. Then I'm gon na take the long hair piece here and then I'm going to wrap that around. Also, if you have some of your leave out, that's just kind of hanging out from the ponytail extension, you can also wrap your own hair with the ponytail extension as well, and then just letting a bobby, pin and pin down the little piece. And this is the final result I feel like this is just the best solution I could think about for doing a ponytail extension for people who have thick hair and it's really really hard to get thick hair and a ponytail extension.
