Hi guys welcome back to my channel and in today's video i will be giving you guys a sleek extended ponytail on natural hair. I am natural and i've never put any chemicals in my hair, i just wash my hair and i'm going to now divide my hair into four sections, you're going to need to make sure that you have about three or four clips, because you're going to need to Clip each section away, so it doesn't get in your way, while you're working on one section, you're going to need to have some type of oil to spray your hair with. So it can be easier for you to brush your hair and blow dry it. My hair is still wet, so i'm going to section on my hair and i'm going to blow dry each section thoroughly. Okay, so now that my hair is all blow dried and it is straight, i'm now going to go through and flat iron. My whole head to make sure that it's silk pressed so that my ponytail will be super sleek and flat. And now i'm just making my sections again. While i get ready to flat iron, my hair and now i'm going to grab my flat iron and i'm also going to grab my spray again and re-spray my hair before i start to flat iron and also when you're flat iron, you want to make sure that You'Re not taking too big of a piece. You want to make sure that you take pretty small pieces, so you can make sure that you flat on your hair, really good. Okay, so now y'all see how straight and shiny my hair is. I'M done with this section and now we're going to move on to the next section. Okay, so now we're done flat, ironing the hair and it's nice, and straight i'm going to take my hot comb and i'm going to press my roots out with it. You also want to make sure that you put the hot comb around the edges of your hairline to make sure all that is straight. So i'm doing a middle part ponytail. So i'm going to make sure that my part is nice and straight. I usually take the longest on my part, because i try to get it so perfect to make sure that it's in the middle now you're going to part half of the head and put it into clips and divide the back from the two front pieces. Because we're going to put the back and a ponytail first, you want to make sure that you take your hot comb again and go over the roots. So now i'm going to comb my hair backward to make sure there is no hump. You want to make sure that it's nice and flat now you're going to take your got to be spray after you make sure that it was no humps in your hair. You want to make sure that it was nice and flat before you spray your hair and then you're going to take your comb again after you sprayed it and just comb it straight backwards. I also use a brush to brush it back as well just to make sure that i'm not missing anything then you're going to need a rubber band like a big rubber band or just even an elastic band. That'S really stretchy and you're going to put the back of your hair into a ponytail first once i make sure that it's in a ponytail i'm going to go over with my got to be spray again and spray it down, because you want to make sure that Your ponytail is hard, so it stays and lasts long. Then you're going to take your blow dryer and that's what's making it dry and hard now you're going to take your got to be gel and you're going to lay your edges with the got to be gel. Personally, i like to use the got tv gel on my edges, because it doesn't it holds it in place. I never have to redo my edges with the ponytail and it doesn't make my edges curl up as like edge control does so i like to use, got to be gel on my edges for my ponytails and once you get your baby hair to your liking, going To take your blow dryer and just melt it in place, and now i'm just going to pull out the side. My sideburns i like to have long sideburns with my ponytails. I just feel like it makes the ponytail look even cuter. Okay, now we're going to take our got to be spray and we're going to spray the first half of our ponytail, then you're going to take your comb and you're just going to brush that or comb the comb. Your hair, just like you did with the back. You want to make sure that when you're combing it it's nice and sleek, no lumps once you feel like it's flat enough you're going to take your blow dryer. So you can make sure that your hair stays in place and also you want to make sure that your blow dryer is hot. There'S no tiny hair sticking up or anything now we're going to move on to the next section and you're, just repeating the same process on this side that we did on the back side and on the other side. Now that our ponytail is in place you're going to need to braid your hair down, some people may need to use braiding hair, but my hair is long enough, so i don't have to use any extra hair to make the ponytail longer, because the longer your braid Is that's the longer your ponytail will be and i'm going to braid it all the way to the end, i'm just going to close it off with a rubber band, then you're going to need to take a black. I don't even know exactly what these are called, but you just need one of these to wrap it around your ponytail to protect your hair from the glue, because you don't want to get this glue on your hair and now you're going to take your hair glue And close off that piece, so it doesn't unfold. You'Re gon na put some hair glue on there and press it down. Now, i'm going to take my bundles and wrap it around my ponytail i had used about. It was like three long pieces, but probably two bundles in total. For my ponytail, you only need you don't need no more than two bundles for a ponytail and really not even two bundles. You need a bundle and maybe a half of another model. Another bundle and you're just going to continue wrapping the hair around the ponytail until you reach the top. So now that we've wrapped our checks around our ponytail you're, going to take a piece out of the ponytail to wrap around the ponytail. I like to take a pretty wide piece of hair out, because i like to have a wide or long wrap around on my ponytail. Some people may not like that, but this is just my preference you're going to take your got to be spray and spray it on the hair. Then you're going to take your comb and comb through the hair and then you're going to begin to wrap it around your ponytail. You want to make sure that you keep spraying your ponytail with the got to be spray, so you make sure that it's not going to come loose. Then you're going to take your blow dryer and you're going to blow dry it, and now i'm going to spray. My hair, so that i can begin to flat iron it okay. So now my ponytail is straight and now i'm going to take some rubber bands and i'm going to put about six or seven ponytails around the ponytail. To get this type of.
