Pony-O First Impression & Review

So yeah, hey guys, welcome back to my channel so today I'm gon na be sharing with you guys, my first impression and kind of like review on the new pony. Oh I'm it's like a new hair accessory or hair like elastic alternative, so I wanted to give them a try. So if you guys are interested in seeing my thoughts, then just keep watching okay, so I washed my hair today and then I blow dried it straight. So it's pretty, like I don't know like fluffy and just kind of not like. I wouldn't just leave it like this to wear it everyday. I would either curl it or straightener or something, but I did blow-dry it straight. So at least it's not like weirdly curly um, but I'm gon na go ahead and open up my package. I haven't even opened it yet wait. Oh my god. These looks so weird. Hmm, you got your two Pony oohs. I just got the blonde color yeah, I'm gon na work. They have different sets different colors. They have a bunch of different things that you can buy. Yeah there's a couple different styles in here. They do have a one. They have one that like creates a bun for you, but I did not wear that one okay. So let's give this a try. So it's weird it's just kind of like bendy, and this feels really soft, not like it's going to rip your hair out. So it says to scoop your hair up in a pony, so it's nice. It has directions where the photos and kind of like a little description. Okay and then it says to stick your thumb in 1st finger through the pony out like this and then feed your hair through keep it close to your head. It'S gon na feed my hair, through keeping it close to my head out. Okay, so that kind of hurts pulling it through and then it says squash it flat place one thumb under the pony. Oh one inch from the end place one thumb under the pony: oh oh, like this, and so we're gon na bend it. If you guys can see that Bend this in like that, and then it says to do it to the other side wow that feels so weird. Hmm, my first impression I don't like how my ponytail looks from the front and that could just be because normally I would put my pony in and then I like, scrunch it up to make it higher. So, first of all, like I don't normally put my hair in a ponytail without styling, it so without like are their curls are straightening. It cuz right now. It just kind of looks like a poof ball um, but it definitely does not feel like. It would give me a headache. That'S one thing I can say right off the bat um I just I don't really like the way my ponytail looks right now, like maybe it's because my hair is not styled, and so let's see how it comes out, someone squash it pull it apart. Oh, so it slides right now it's almost like I don't know. I wish it was like stronger, but I guess that's what makes it feel so comfortable. I'Ve got to do like the test and kind of whip, my hair back and forth cuz on the website. It shows a girl like going for a run and like really you know, throwing your head around and her ponytail doesn't go anywhere. Let'S try it again. Okay, that one feels a lot more secure, I'm not sure what I did differently. I think I kind of tried to keep the hair more towards the center so that when I bent it back, I could really really like bend it close together. So I feel like that made a difference. It might also be the placement on my head. That makes it feel more secure, I'm still able to pull pieces out. Okay. This is a little bit cuter, so it does definitely make your hair look thicker. I like that. I feel like if my hair was styled and not like, like a blunt like like it, is right now like a poof ball, I feel like it would be cute. Okay, guys this is kind of cute. I'M like it's starting to grow on me. I like the way it kind of like makes my ponytail look huge. I'M gon na do the test, I'm gon na, like whip my hair everywhere. Maybe I went a little too hard? Okay, so if I were to go for a run, okay, this one does feel pretty secure like it's pretty much staying in place, let's try a low ponytail, so I like the way this one looks and feels from the front. I do have some pieces like pulling, which happens with a regular elastic. Okay again, my hair is not styled, so it looks like a horse tail but like from straight back. My pony tail looks so thick right now. I do really like that about it. So yeah guys, I'm overall, I think the pony, oh, so it's around $ 20 for the pack of two of them. I think it's worth it. If you want to, you know, try something different. I feel like twenty dollars. Isn'T that expensive? It'S not like fifty bucks. So yeah guys my battery's about to die. Felicia Fuehrer: So I purchased one and want to share another perspective (btw - great video Miss Rylee... glad someone did this!). I agree with most of what Rylee said. I have REALLY thick hair and do quite a bit on instagram. I wanted to do some photos of my hair up in a cute 'barbie-ish' pony tail. Challenges I had with this are: With LONG THICK hair, it's REALLY difficult to feed your hair through the pony-o. They need to make a larger one. It's also difficult to keep the pony 'tight' if you want a 'snatched' pony - this is more difficult with a pony-o. However... if you use an elastic and THEN use the Pony-o OVER the elastic - you can achieve the high sleek pony we're all seeking. That's my two cents. Agree with Rylee on most of her thoughts also. Great video lovey.

Blaize S.: Well, I'm kind of with some of the others here..if you knew you were going to do a ponytail review, and you normally style your hair for a ponytail, why didn't you style your hair first? Any way, I think your hair looks full and beautiful! You don't want it flat with no volume, do you? :)

Cathy Irwin: If you watch the "how to" on the company's website they say NOT to split hair and pull tight. You kept doing that. Maybe you should try placing it higher on your head if you want a higher ponytail. Would love to see a video with your hair done and complete as you said you normally do. Would give better idea of product.

Mary Flavell: Do you have another video where you styled your hair the way you normally would if you were going to use an elastic? Seems like that might give us a more accurate comparison and assessment of how it performs.
Patti L: It looked like you tried to tighten it up like a regular hair band and you are not supposed to do that with the ponyo. it loosens it; you just push it down toward your head to tighten it.

Veronica Medina: I agree with you!!! I got mine and for my liking I did not like the way my ponytail looked. My hair felt loose and not secure. Maybe cause I don’t have a lot of hair. I’d much rather use a hair tie. Ignore anyone lashing out at you because you didn’t give this a great review. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Keep rocking girl!!!!

Rachel Broomfield: Not happy with this product at all. I have thick hair. It didn’t work at all well. And the company refuses to refund the shipping to return. Only will give me the cost of the pony o back. Horrible customer service. Not worth the cost and hassle.

Seda Gyonjyan: My hair is long and this thing does not work at all. No matter how high and how tight I put it, it keeps sliding down, plus the tail never looks perky even at the beginning. The elastic bands that I found from Target do a much better job. Very disappointed
