What'S up guys el moreno here and i got a quick tip for you when you're tying your hair into a high ball, something that i have been using for a lot of years, but i've never really talked about. It is only in only one of our videos from way way way back like the very first high ball video, it's a little trick about where to actually keep your hair tie, not on your wrist, which makes it faster to tie it up and in this video I'M going to show you how so, instead of the wrist you're like el moreno, where do i put it look at this, you put it up about halfway here. The benefit of doing this is your thumb, and your wrist are not going to get in the way when you're twisting and you're ready to grab it and you're, holding it up high. With your dominant hand, you don't have to work it over your wrist to get it over. You literally can just slide it right over. I'M going to show you how to do that right now. Having a hair tie place right here will work for any tie-ups that have ball like form that are really tight and you're holding it with one part of your hand, it's not gon na work so great for, like a fold-over, you know like a ponytail or something Like that, so let me show you why and how it's better through a quick example. So right here we're gon na go with uh just going with the normal high ball, i'm gathering all the hair, getting it to the top of the crown. I'M going to spin things up here. Okay, just bring it in so things are nice and tight. You can see, i have it over my wrist wrap this around. I have my hair tie over my wrist see i kind of got ta battle it. I got ta get it over my wrist, my thumb i'm still trying to hold on and then you go for the tie. Okay, over 10 years of experience with long hair doing that tie up. I don't like really struggle with that, but i'm just telling you it's an inconvenience and the halfway is so much better. Now let me show you with it like this and how much faster it is how much easier, how much less movement there is in the tile. We'Re gon na do the same exact thing: i'm grabbing all the hair, i'm getting everything in i'm bringing it to the top of the crown for that beautiful high ball, make sure i got it all okay. Here we go, i'm gon na twist it up getting it twisted up gon na bring it around suck it in there see it here. It is folks, see, look how fast and easy that is it just glides on it. Glides on one simple move: no little bounces! You just pull it over easy deployment, wrap it up, you're good to go you're done. It saves you like two three seconds and a little bit of bobbling and stuff, but over years and years and years back that all adds up all right, guys hope you enjoyed the quick tip here. Tony: This actually came in clutch, I’m growing out my hair and the front bits just barely reach the back of my head where I want to make a bun. So if I lose any grip then those hairs won’t make it and then fall infront of my face. But not anymore !

stevechambers500: Good tip. I think it should work for braiding too. I braid my men's tail up every day for work and I always struggle to keep the tie flat coming off my wrist when I tie off the end.
