Thank you so very much to all my followers, I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Hey guys, today's tutorial is going to be on how to make a ponytail holder. Here is the ponytail holder. I will be showing you. How to make first thing you will need is some yarn. I am going to be using some simply soft purple, some scissors, a yarn needle a hook. I will be using an eye and some ponytail holders now is a good time to go to the dollar store because they have these big jumble packs of 40, and they always have these around Christmas time. I love them. I buy tons of them at the beginning of the year. It doesn't matter what color you use. If you don't want to see it, when you stretch it, then maybe you might want to match it to your thorn. I don't really worry about it, because you can't really see it anyway. So the first thing that you're going to be doing is getting your ponytail holder on your needle go ahead and stick your needle in, and you want to make your Slipknot and please excuse my hand. I have riding on it. I had an important phone call. Didn'T have paper handy, I've been washing scrubbing and it does not want to come off. So please just excuse. The end. First thing you want to do is make a single crochet around your ponytail holder, and if you want to see that again, all I did was made. My slipknot here put my hook inside of the ponytail holder. Put my yarn on my hook, pulled it through and did one single crochet now all you want to do is do a single crochet, all the way around the ponytail holder and clothing it so there's one single crochet and again another single crochet, and you just want To keep repeating this all the way around I am holding in my tail as I crochet around both the ponytail holder and the tail. That way, it's easier and I don't have to tuck it in later, but you're just going to continue to do this all the way around and I will meet you at the end. Okay, here I am towards the end of my ponytail holder. I'M just going to continue to keep doing a single crochet around and I think I'll do one or two more out see: okay, we'll do one more whoops. So now I have it completely closed. Now. All I want to do is just slip stitch to the first single crochet made so slip stitch that then I want to chain 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then single crochet right into the next stitch, single crochet, again repeat: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Single crochet into the next stitch - and this is all you're going to be doing you're just going to repeat that all the way around I will meet you at the end. Here I am at the end of my first round. I'M going to chain 1. 2. 3. 4 and 5 again single crochet into the next stitch chain: 5. 1, 2. 3. 4. 5 single crochet into the last stitch here chain: 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then slip stitch into this beginning slip stitch here and there you have your first row done now to continue on. You can either stop here. If you want it smaller or you can continue on with one more row of chain - 5 single crochet, but this time you'll be working. Your single crochets in each chain, 5 stitch. So to begin, you just want to slip stitch into the first chain. 5. Then chain. Your five one, two three four and five and again single crochet into the next chain: 5, then chain, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, and just repeat that all the way around. By putting a single crochet in each chain, 5 space with the chain 5 between each single crochet and again, I am just going to single crochet around the chain: 5 in the chain: 5 space chain, my 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and repeat that around. I will meet you at the end Here. I am at the end of this round. I just did my chain 5. Now, I'm just going to single crochet in the next chain: 5 space chain, 5, 4 and 5, and then again single crochet in my last chain. 5 space one more chain 5 and then go ahead and slip stitch into your first slip. Stitch you made so slip stitch into here. Then you want to cut your yard finish off, and this is what it looks like. It'S really pretty freely stretchable and see there. You can see the white through it, but when you put it on the hair and it's twisted on there, you really can't see it when it's on the little girl's hair little girls love these they're very fun. They can be made in any colors. You can get creative, you can even use the fun, for those are really fun, just get creative with it. But this is just a basic way to cover your ponytail holder and you just want to thread your yarn and go ahead and tuck it in and the way that I do it is. I will run it down through here. I will run it all the way down and then I will tuck it in all around my rubber band area. So just go ahead and push it all the way down, pull it through, and then I just run it around in here and I will go far enough to where, if I stretch it and it pops out a little bit, I'm not worried that it's going to Come out completely I'll, just keep going look. Sometimes it's a little bit hard because you'll poke the rubber band, but you can also backtrack. If you want, you can go back this way. A few stitches pull it through cut off the rest of the tail and there you have your ponytail holder. So this is how I make my ponytail holders. You can get tons of them out of one skein they're great gifts. They work up really quick, they're fun to make fun to wear and, like I said little girls just love them, so there you go hope you enjoyed. God bless.

Patricia S: so if I started out how you did, could it continue into a beanie with a ponytail holder???

penny Penny: how would you make a lovely with the ponytail holder as the center.

DzCrochetCreations: @SouthernCrocheting You can do that one two ways.. Do it the same way just using the frilly yarn, or hold the frilly yarn together with your regular yarn. Sometimes that makes it easier to see your sts. I dont think it would be a good idea to do a tut using that yarn because it would be really hard to see :( sorry!!

Antoinette Aquiningoc: Rubbing alcohol will remove the ink from your hand or any surface... may take a few squirts and intense rubbing but the ink will come out with rubbing alcohol.
