Hey guys so i'm gon na do a quick video on the hair bands that everybody is sublimating on. So this is the bag it came with. I think eight yards. This is the information i will put the link to what it is. You can see here. It'S a fold-over elastic, that's the back side! This is the front side, so you want the shiny side, the shine that looks like satin on there. That'S what you are going to press on so for kids headbands. I usually do eight inches for adult um. I try to do about ten, so i have a measuring tape here on my desk and i am going to measure it at the 10., so i usually do mine straight. So when i tie them, they look normal so that one's at 10 and then i will do a kid one at eight. So i just did a kid one at eight you'll see here so usually how i gauge it is. I'M gon na put a knot on it, so that'll fit around my wrist. I can't stand when i grab these and they're super super tight on my wrist, because i always keep the headband on my wrist. So i can flip my hair back and not have to worry about it. The adult obviously is bigger, especially for someone who has curly hair um. So it's got a little bit more um oomph to it. You can make it smaller if you want to maybe do 9 inches. This is just what i've been doing them at. So another thing too is burn the edges, so polyester will burn so you're going to want to burn the edges, so it doesn't fray. So you can see here i am taking my thing and burning the edges. You don't want to burn it too much. You don't want to get any brown or anything on there. So i'm going to burn the edges of both of these. So on this one. Obviously you can size it and you know, make your design very small or you can do an all over design, so i have an all-over design upstairs. I don't have one done down here that um is complete so on these two i'm gon na do them as an all-over design. If you were gon na, do them um with just a simple design, i would shoot for probably measuring these about 0.30. Maybe 0.40 would be pushing it probably 0.30 if you're going to put a logo or something like that on there um. You can try that, but i'm just gon na drop these up on my heat press, so um. If you guys have seen my other videos, you know my big 15 by 15 heat press was having issues and i thought it was the control panel. It'S not um. It blew officially three different control panels, so i have scrapped my 15 by 15. I have another one on order: um i've contacted the seller since it has a lifetime warranty and they haven't responded back to me. So i'm assuming that's a wash my small 10 by 12 with a new control panel, is not heating up properly. So i have um i've borrowed a clamshell fancier studio from a friend of mine, so we are going to do this on that, since i know that one is heating up properly, i used it this morning and had no issues whatsoever. So i'm going to take these upstairs and i'm going to show you how to do these really quick. So what i had printed out, i was just using a scrap that i had. That was too short. I realized that it wasn't big enough, so what i'm doing is um, i'm gon na make a new one, so all i did was make the shape and i dropped the image into it. So these are just background. High resolution images so like this one, i have it sized at 10.75 by four, so i'll show you from the beginning. So i'm going to delete this one and i'm going to go over here to the square shape. So this little rectangle and i'm going to make a rectangle up at the top is where i can size it. So i'm going to size this at the 10.75, which will make sure that it's long enough for both by the 3.75 is fine. So here's my shape, if you click on your center it'll center it. So you know that you're not going to be off the edge or anything on any of them. Then i'm just going to go in and i'm going to pull the image from my files. So i just have my files open, you can see, i have tons and i'm just going to grab a background file and i'm going to pull it up and drop it into this one. I think this one was in here, so what i'm looking for is that leopard there we go so here's the leopard that i'm looking for and all i'm gon na do is drop it so you'll see the little thing that comes up that says move, but literally All i did was just drop and drag it and it resized it to that size, so it shrunk my image without distorting it too bad that won't work on a padded image. It will only work on like the seamless images without having to do any kind of altercations to it. So you can see here. I did the same thing up here. This is a camo design um. I have all sorts of different um backgrounds and everything on there. Actually, i think i may change that one, the camel one to a puppy design, so i'm gon na find the puppy design and i'm gon na drop that one and then to it all right. So i can't find the puppy paws that i was looking for so anyway. I am going to print this out, i'm going to make some more of these. This is for something else, and i am going to go ahead and print this, so this is for two of them, and this is for another one, so we are going to hit print. This is going to my et2720. I go to my preferences letter. My paper premium presentation, matte, i'm going to high for my quality, more options. I go into custom advanced. My color controls that i use for everything are up here, so i go adobe rgb my brightness is 9 contrast: 7 saturation 15. My density is 4. We'Re going to click, ok, turn off high speed, turn on mirror image and we're going to click. Ok, we're going to apply the changes and hit print. So that's how i dropped those images into it. Like i said, those were backgrounds, high resolution and we're just dropping them into it, so we can put them onto these hair bands, so i'm gon na go turn the press on upstairs and get these started. Okay, so the he. The press is heating up. I'M gon na put three um leopard ones. I ended up cutting another one, so i'm gon na put three leopard ones and one camo, so all i'm doing is placing it on my transfer. Obviously you can add in a whole bunch of these. I did some more adult end, kids, so it doesn't really matter to me which way they go like. I said, i'm not putting wording or anything like that on these ones, so i'm just gon na grab my heat tape. I have these with my sublimation side, which is the satiny looking side down, and i'm just going to put some tape on these to hold them in place. So when i flip it, it's still good. So these are the three that i did. This is the um non-shiny side. You can see that here, so i'm just gon na flip this over and set that down and then on this one is the one that i did the camo. So this one. Obviously, i would do this one significantly bigger, but i was trying to show you what i would do if i was doing it with a smaller design or words. So you can see here i did .60 is the sizing that i did and i am going to run a piece of tape, a couple every couple inches to keep that in place. So if you wanted to do a thank you or you wanted to put your logo or something like that, that would work um i mean for me like i said this is just the camo. It'S definitely not going to be perfect but, as i said, i'm just trying to keep this somewhat in place. I would definitely you know the all over is significantly easier, but for giggles i did this one really quick to try to show it if it was an actual logo or something plus. This material isn't, particularly straight. It'S been wrapped around that cardboard sheet for a while. So i'm sure there's still going to be some white showing on this um and, like i said if i were to actually do a logo on this, i would go bigger on the outside design and do the logo smaller. So i would drop it in the center. So it would look different, so i am going to press this at 400.. So actually i lied. I'M gon na change it to 390 um for 60 seconds. I need to change the temperature on the press. I did a payment plaque earlier, so it's still set at 120 um 120 seconds. So i definitely need to change that. So i'm going to drop this down so it'll be transfer side up and i'm out of tape. So i'm going to switch this all over and i'll show you how to do it alright, so the press is ready to go. I'M set up in my garage right now. This is like, i said, a friend of mine, and i don't want to take it downstairs because i'm not keeping it. My new press should come in on friday and fingers crossed that one works better. So i have this set um god i had it set at 390.. So let me check that because the temperature is going up all right, so i put a piece of copy paper over it. My images are down, they are taped and i'm going to go ahead and get this set okay, so we are done, yep, sweet, okay, so so i will pull the camel one off first, so you can see here. Obviously i put a lot of tape on the camo one, because i was trying to get that one as close to running down the seam as possible. So if you're going to do a low like i said, i would change that going forward and go a little bit bigger and drop the logo just in the center. So if i was doing it as a white design in the logo, i would do my logo smaller than the 0.60, which is what i used for the um camo measurements. And then i will show you what the leopard looks like. So i'm going to the tape. Actually decides to come off. Sorry all right. I think that is all of the tape. Okay. So here's what the camo looks like you can see here, there's a spot here, that's white, but not too concerned about it, but that's the camo. So then, i'm just gon na take it line. My edges up make a knot and pull my knot down. Super super super close to the edge and there's that and you can put them on a piece of cardboard or something like that to hold them in place. But that's what it is so that one is done, that's the camel one and now we'll do the leopard. So it's the same thing, but i didn't put as much tape. So you can see here that the leopard covered okay. So here's what the leopard looks like and i will take the tape off and pull and tie those ones. So obviously you can see that covered really really. Well, sorry, my setup is a little wonky since i'm not downstairs in my normal spot, since my presses isn't working. My new press, thank god, should come on friday. So all you're gon na do is go ahead and knot. It take it to the bottom and there is your sublimation hair tie. You can do virtually anything. These ones are for um, a friend of mine who loves leopard and she's doing a event for color street. So i did a payment plaque for her already on a shirt. I still have to do the how-to video for payment plaque and i will put that up for you guys, but it has the qr codes and everything on it. So it makes it very very, very, very, very easy for vendor events, so i will do a how-to on that one. So you know how to do that, but this is tying the last one. Sorry guys it's probably off of the camera, so i'm tying the last one pushing it all the way down to the end, and this is what they look like i mean if you want to stretch them um when you lay them on the tape. You can just make sure you tape them down good, but i don't like i said i try to do them a little bit bigger and this will fit on. You know a little girl's wrist, so it would still look cute and she would still have a hair tie. So she wants to stick that on she can. But you can see these are the ones that you just did pull them all up on my hand. So you can see what they look like, so these are all of the hair ties that we just got done doing guys. So i will put the link to the actual material that i got so you guys have all of that and i press this at 390. For 60 seconds hope that helps guys bye,

Cakkyblue: Thanks for the video. Go Bills!!! ♥️

MaryBeth Mulhall: I tried 400 for 50 seconds and they literally melted. Maybe pressure was to hard??
