Invisibobble Hair Tie: Does Hot Water Shrink It Back To Normal?

Watch my update for this: https://youtu.be/5ZptATOe8d0

I bought a pack of invisibobble hair ties from target on clearance. I hear they're amazing. I wanted to try them out and see if this was going to be new squeeze. I have wavy thick hair that I pull back on a regular basis. I have found that it is rather gentle on my hair, very feel hairs get pulled out. After a week, the hair tie has stretched out and the instructions say it will return back to its normal size by placing it in hot water. I test that out.

Hey guys, I am back with another video today I am going to be talking about the invisible hair tie. So it looks like this. The invisible hair tight, it's pretty small I'd, say like it's about an inch and a half wide or so, and this is supposed to be like revolutionary hair tie. It'S supposed to be so SuperDuper amazing. Well, they come in two pack of three. So this is one that has not been used yet and I've been using one for about a week and it looks like this and they say that this will scrunch back to this original size when you put it into boiling hot water. So I've got some hot water back here in this little mug and we're just gon na see how it performs. Okay, I'm just gon na drop it in there. Let it do its thing, you can see it's kind of doing some stuff also don't mind the sediment in the water. It'S from the Keurig. I guess there's just some coffee that stays in there. You, okay, it's been, I don't know like a half an hour or something. So, let's look at okay, okay, so here it didn't quite return to this size, probably because it's been stretched out so much, but let's grab it. What okay, let's compare them? Okay, so didn't totally return to its original size. I did notice some other things too, such as, like you notice. The little copper coil is all around, except it's kind of missing from these two, so I think it just kind of got stretched out. So I don't think they're fuse together, but, like I think, it's okay, I would not say that this goes back to this, though I mean it gets, stretched out like every other elastic and like three of these for nine dollars is super duper pricey, I'm not really Sure, if I would buy these again mostly because of the way it stretches out and it stays stretched out yeah, so I mean I feel like these are okay in the sense that they don't really pull it. Your hair, when you pull it out of your head, but I mean, if you're, looking for something with staying power. This is not it okay, guys! Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I will talk to you guys soon. Bye,

Marjie Julian: I use the hair dryer method with mine and they shrink to almost as close as the original. The water does not consistently heat up the bobble enough to shrink it to the original size, but the hairdryer works like a charm. I would recommend that method instead.

mari: They're much cheaper now depending on where you are you can find them at Walmart 3 or 4 for about 2 dollars and other stores

alyssa razo: Since it’s summer and it’s so hot I leave mine in the car in my cup holder and they shrink smaller than when I got them.

Darlene Lewis: This is what I do: Put bobble in a mug (one that you are not using) heat water in kettle, when hot water is done boiling, pour it over the bobble in the mug, you will see it shrink back to it's smaller size, let it sit in the water till it completely cools down.

Jennifer Janda: You have to boil them and they go back perfect!

tanya9nithreus: Here it's clearly that the water wasn't hot enough :P it needs to be boiling water just from the kettle

Love: You need to have really hot water, like boiling water. I've seen that it works.

Puppet: Same goes to elastic hair tie, right?

Sophie George: You have to put it in the pot while the water is boiling…

Charli Tiger: You can still use it when it’s stretched out

DimensionsOfaGemini: This is very accurate

jas slater: You need boiling hot water

Dia Soto: Need boiling water for it to work

Madysen Rose: Get the goody ones at Walmart

Sierra Biehn: you just did it wrong haha
