Hey everyone welcome back to my channel today I am doing a ponytail with braiding hair and I'm starting off with a one-day-old wash and go, and I'm refreshing my hair with the jamaican black castor oil with strength and grow leave-in conditioner from shea moisture. I'M just going to put this all throughout my hair, just so that my hair can be free, moisturizer and i'll also be using the shea moisture, styling gel as well for a hold, and those will be the only two products that i will be using today. I'M also using a Denman brush to detangle my hair, so that I can stretch out my hair more so that it's a little bit easier to fit into a ponytail. I'M using a fresh pack of cankle on braiding hair. Just one braid - and this is the color 1b, although my ends are colored, I'm still going to use just one bag and 1b is the color. You can get this at any of your local Beauty, Supply stores for about four to six ninety-nine a pack. You want to make sure that you leave the rubberband on the hair as it is, and you just wrap it around your hair, and I did it about two to three times just to secure the braiding hair onto my ponytail and then you'll also need some bobby Pins to pin it and make sure that it's secure, you don't want to be out dancing and your ponytail is on your shoulder. Trust me. I'Ve been there, so you just want to also separate one piece and then that'll be used to wrap around the ponytail. To also add that extra security, so you set that piece aside and you can just basically measure how much you think that you would want to put around the ponytail, so you'll set that to the side and then you'll begin to braid the rest of the hair. You'Ll, go ahead and secure the end of the braid with one rubber band and I simply used the rubber band that it came with in the pack. And then I also cut the ends a little bit with a pair of scissors and now you're going to take the piece that you set aside and you're going to wrap it around the braid. So you place the braid over top of your own ponytail and you can put it on the either side left or right, and then you will go ahead and take the piece that you had separated and that'll be used to secure the braid after you have added. As many bobby pins as you feel, you would need to make sure that your ponytail is secure. Okay, guys, this is the final look, I'm just going to loosen up the ponytail a little bit. Well, the braids a little bit just to give it that more natural! Look and this look was actually inspired by a youtuber Cindy, Riley og and I felt like hey. Let me try this hairstyle and it was a good, quick hairstyle to do for the day and yep. If you want to follow my Instagram its add, I am Miss Honey and you can also see pictures on my page as well.
