And i am back again with another hair video, so today we are jumping right into this video um. Today we are featuring a company called darling. Usa, darling usa is known for their natural touch, textured and simply beautiful hair extensions. So we are starting off on freshly washed hair and i just have my hair in two braids and i'm going to take it out and start from there. So the product that i'm using today is the darling afro puff drawstring ponytail um and i have the color one dash or not dash one slash 27. The darling afro puff drawstring ponytail is made out of synthetic fibers that are not only tangle, free but easy to manage and very soft to touch. So i'm not sure if you guys can tell on this channel yet, but i am 100, a lazy natural, so updos, puffs and buns are like my absolutely favorite to do on my hair, but sometimes i like to have my hair tucked away just to retain moisture And just protect it from the weather outside, especially because i live in texas, so this ponytail gives the look that i love. While having my hair tucked away and the ponytail comes with natural luster natural texture, it's no shedding at all and then it's a lightweight install. So jumping right into the style, i'm just gon na part, my hair completely in half and i'm gon na start by gelling my hair up into these two ponytails and create two buns to do my first style, which is going to be my mohawk using the afro Puff drawstring ponytail, oh hey all right! So once i am finished gelling up my ponytails, i do one two strand twist for each ponytail and then wrap it into a bun just so that my hair will lay flat in the bun or the ponytail. The drawstring ponytail will fit over my bun, so now that the buns are finished here, i am showing you guys the difference between the two drawstring ponytails. They are the same exact ponytail, but the one on the left is not stretched and the one on the right is stretched just a little bit. All i did was take my blow dryer to it and kind of stretch, the hair out and just use that to basically elongate the curls, because they were kind of like much together because they were in the bag. So, in order to put the ponytail on you're going to want to insert the two combs into your ponytail or your bun, once you do that you're going to take the drawstring part and just tighten it as tight as you can, but not too much to where It'S actually painful, so once i get it where i want it, i just take the rest of the drawstring part and just wrap it around the ponytail, and then you can also bobby pin it so that it doesn't come undone um same thing for the top ponytail. You just insert the two combs underneath your ponytail and then you're going to use the drawstring to tighten the ponytail so that it's not going anywhere and literally you can stop here, because once you secure the drawstring part of the ponytail, you literally don't have to do Anything else um, no bobby pins or anything to actually continue to secure the ponytail. It'S not going to go anywhere. Somebody can literally pull the ponytail and it will take a little bit for it to actually come off. So now i'm just going in um with some foam and some mousse just kind of like twirling, the curls around my fingers to kind of refresh them a little bit, because i was kind of pulling on it and then also going in and fluffing the ponytail. So that um, the mohawk, is consistent, all the way from the front to the back um, and then here you guys will see me inserting in some bobby pins and i'm just using that to kind of um make the mohawk a little bit more skinny. I don't want it to look like i have two ponytails. I want it to literally look like um. I just pinned my hair up into a mohawk, so um. I use the bobby pins to kind of just make the ponytail a little bit thinner. Um all the way through, so that it would look a little bit more realistic. Thank you. So once the edges and everything are done, that's pretty much it for the mohawk, it's kind of like a side, bang mohawk - and i love it. It'S pretty cute so on to the next style, so i am taking the two drawstring ponytails off and i'm going to combine my two buns into one bun on top of my head and the one bun is going to work perfect for the next three styles that I'M going to show you guys - hmm, oh so these next three styles are basically going to be styles, that i personally like to do on my real hair on an everyday basis. So, of course, the first one is going to be our general regular um puff on top of our head, so insert the two combs at the bottom of my ponytail, i'm going to tighten the drawstring and then just fluff up the ponytail and there's your simple everyday Puff every natural loves to do the puff look, especially when we don't feel like doing our hair so um after i do that. I pretty much just fix up my baby hairs, um and re-slick some parts that came undone and that is the finished style. Oh here we have just your everyday, like i said, puff. Every natural loves this style now to spice it up a little bit more one of my personal favorite styles is a ninja bun. So i like to kind of bunch up the ponytail and i'm going to start putting in a scrunchie in the middle of the ponytail and building the scrunchie up, so that the bun actually stands up, which makes it a ninja bun fluff it up a little bit And voila the wonderful ninja bun now next we're back with the puff i'm going to take my bandana now i have it folded in the shape of a triangle, so i'm going to start wrapping the bandana around the puff and then i'm going to take the corner And pull it down and tuck it underneath the back. If that makes sense, so i'm going to tighten the bandana and then i'm going to just tie it and secure it and then once the bandana is secured, i'm just going to go back in and fluff the puff back up, and i don't know why i like This it just kind of gives you like a heightened, puff, almost bun, looking look, but it's still a puff at the same time. I do this with my natural hair all the time, and sometimes i actually will just do a bandana bun, depending on how i feel um but yeah. These are my four go-to lazy, natural styles using my darling, usa, drawstring ponytails, so um.
