Hey guys welcome back to my channel in today's video, I'm gon na, be showing you how I do a high bun using my heart, giving hair coyly drawstring ponytail. So it's a prep, my hair is pretty dirty, I'm gon na start by adding some water to it. So I can be able to shape it because I don't want to just start working with it and it doesn't have water in it because it causes breakage. So I have to add a little bit of water, I'm adding the curls dynasty, kalahari leave-in conditioner, just to give it a little bit of moisture. So long look so drive and I'm just working it all into the perimeter of my hair. I'M really focusing on the edges. Cuz, that's the part. That'S gon na be showing and again I'm just adding more water to it. So again, you know be nice and saturated. It'S easy to work with, as you can see, is more movement now that I added water to it just makes it easier, and now I'm just brushing around the edges I like to brush my hair up first, just to mold it before at the Jill. So I'm adding my favorite eco styler gel with olive oil all to my hair and I'm very heavy-handed with it. I just the more gel I use the better, the style, the longer it lasts. It just looks way better in my opinion, so I'm just um. After I add the gel, I'm just gon na go my brush and brush it all up again. I do this a lot until my arms are like literally hurting it's a process, all it's a process. So I'm molding in my hair and then I'm gon na put it in a ponytail, I'm using a big headband ponytail and I'm gon na wrap it around as tight as I can inside. Once my hair is in a plane, so I'm gon na separate it and I'm gon na do a twist. It just makes it easier for me to do my buns like this and then I'm going to put another band around it, so they can stay in place. I'M gon na add the drawstring ponytail. It has a comb at the top in a column at the bottom and I'm gon na hook that at the top and at the bottom making sure it's secure. It took me a little while because that person was like poking me in my scalp, so make sure when you put it on that you put on comfortably if it's uncomfortable in the beginning, you might need to move it around a little bit too. You know. So it's comfortable, you don't want to be walking around all day in your hair hurt. So after I put the two clips in then I'm gon na wrap the drawstring around so that I can tighten it and make sure it's secure again. This is the hurt given here just wring ponytail I got mine in 16 inches and the curl pattern is coyly now. I'M gon na grab all the hair in the ponytail and I'm going to start to twist it and wrap it around. I'M doing it very loosely. This is kind of like a effortless bun. It'S not perfect whatsoever. You see, some parts are looking like a little wild, but that's okay, it's just so effortless little bun. You know a quick little style that you can do when you're in a hurry, you're late for work, y'all know to do with your hair, just a little. Some song play with it a little bit until it's the shape that you wanted to be. You see I'm kind of moving mine around a little bit fixing couple pieces adding bobby pins, making sure it is secure at the bottom and at the back and one side, my bun, in the shape that I like it, I'm going to add my scarf. This will help step my hair around the edges in place, so I'm gon na have any flyaways anything. I let my scarf sit on my head for about 10 to 15 minutes on a usual day. If I'm not filming a video, I would let it sit. While I do my makeup and stuff as long as possible, so I can lay down nice and flat, so I'm taking scarf down and you guys this is pretty much the final look. Oh whoa hold up hold up. I almost forgot, I got ta do my edges. I got ta do my baby hairs and time I have up dude. I always have to do my baby hairs, I'm just getting a little bit more of the gel, putting it on my toothbrush and then I'm just creating my baby hairs and my baby hairs owns. I got zone one at the top and then some too, which is like um towards like the sideburn area. You got ta know where your baby hairs are. You know I mean you got ta know what you are, but after I do that, then I'm pretty much done with the look, I'm adding a few more bobby pins to make sure it's secure and to get rid of some of those flyaways. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you want more information about this drawstring ponytail, I have another video where I just did it with a low ponytail and it looks so freakin cute, and this is just another style, another way that you can wear it. So I hope you guys enjoyed it. I have all the her giving hair information down in the description box and, as always, I love you guys and I'll see you guys next time, bye,

Everyday Deanda: This looks really good! I tried to do a high bun with braiding hair a couple weeks ago, and it was a hot mess. Maybe if I try a drawstring ponytail it may be easier. Anything with my natural hair I can figure out but as soon as extensions get added into the equation I’m clueless. This tutorial looks easy enough so I’m feeling inspired to give it another try.
