Hey everybody is Chanel. Welcome back to my channel today, I'm here with a quick and easy simple sleek low braid. So, let's jump into it. This is my hair. I'Ve already been kind of wearing my hair in a slick style, so I'm just gon na start by using a spray bottle to re-wet my hair and I'm going to add some moisture back into it. So I'm using this rose aromatherapy leave-in conditioner from Asia, and so I'm just going to spray that through my hair and then I'm also going to use the oil from that same collection and run that through my hair as well. Just making sure that my hair is moisturized now I'm going to use a wide tooth comb and just make sure that it's detangle again, my hair is partially slicked back. So I'm just kind of making sure my hands are detangle in that back section is detangled so that I can get it into a really sleek bun. So I'm gon na be using my go-to, which is eco, styler gel, and I'm just going to apply that on my hair and you know just lick my hair back like I usually do. I do a lot of styles like this. So if you sing one of my ponytail videos, you have seen me slick my hair down before and so once I get all of that smooth down, I'm just going to put it in a ponytail and then after that, I'm just going to twist my hair and Put it in a bun, so this part is really important, especially if you have really long arts they care. You want to make sure that you put it in the smallest bun possible. Now this is my first go-around and I did not make my bun small enough, but we'll get into that later in the video. So for this style people usually use like kanekalon braiding hair. But I decided to do this. Look with marley hair, and so this hair is from bobby boss. It'S the jamaican braid hair and this hair usually comes and like one pack has two bundles, so I'm going to be using a bundle and a half for my ponytail. So I'm just gathering all the hair right here, as you guys can see, and so what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na stretch the ends and basically just make it all the pieces of hair make them unyu no form so that when I do braid It I get a nice tapered look, so I'm just stretching the ends, and you know making sure that they're not super even and I'm going to take a rubber band and loop that, through the middle of the hair and I'm going to use that rubber band to Attach it to my natural bone and my rubber band was kind of loose, so I decided to do a double tie to make sure that it's super secure. So there are multiple ways you can install this, but I'm just going to start by sectioning all that hair into three pieces to create my braid. So it's important that when you do your braid, you don't want to braid too tightly. I made the mistake of braiding. My doing my braid a little too tight, but you want to make sure that you keep the base of it kind of loose and open so that when you go to cover your natural bun, you know it kind of hides you. But you can hide your natural bun, more seamlessly and you're, not trying to stick your hair through a really small loop, so yeah, I'm just braiding it right now and then, if you do bring it too tight and you don't want to redo it, I can I'm Going to show you guys how you can fix that, but right now, I'm just going to braid the hair all the way down to the end and then secure it with a rubber band. So once that's done, I'm just going to take some bobby pins. I'M using open bobby pins because they secure it a little better, so I'm gon na take that braid and I'm going to cover my bun so like I was saying before I made my bun too big and then I braided my braids too tight. So, as you guys can see, I'm trying to fit it in, but you know I'm struggling a little bit so I ended up taking the braids off and then I'm just going and kind of fluffing it out so that I have room to hide my braids and Then off-camera, I also went and made my bun a little smaller so that I have an easier time covering it. So, as you guys can see, it covers a lot easier here, and so I'm just going to wrap that hair around my bun and then secure it with the bobby pins and that's pretty much it like. I said there are tons of methods to getting this style. I personally prefer this one, because it's super easy, it's very effortless and I can take it off at the end of the night and let my hair breathe yeah. So another thing is: I definitely like this style better with the Marley hair, because if you are a natural hair girl, I feel like it just blends better than the Kanekalon hair. You don't have to add heat here here. You don't have to stretch your hair. Any of that, and yet it just blends, really nicely and looks a very natural and effortless. In my opinion, the only downside is that if you want it like a super long braid most companies that sell Marley hair, they don't make very long hair. So you would have to like feed in the hair if you wanted it a little longer but yeah that is it. The ponytail has a lot of movement. It'S a little stiff at the base. I'Ll say that, but for the most part it have a lot of movement to it. It'S not. You know super stiff, but yeah. Thank you all for watching, don't forget to Like share comment and subscribe and I'll see. Y'All next, video
