Wagwan beautiful people - I am chef Viviani to this channel - welcome a while go on to this Jamaican and extended-cab and family make sure you subscribe down below for this stuff. I am going to start off with my hair freshly washed and also I blow-dry date. So it's looking dry, obviously, and for this sleek down, look I'm trying to avoid using multiple products in my hair or if I don't need to use a product, I'm not going to so it's about using minimal product as possible. I already D treated my hair before blowing it out. I use a heat protectant. All of that, so this is my hair after it was fully blown out so okay, so if he got faked for a pattern here, you know it is. A straw goes to slick down your hair, like I've, done a couple of stick down videos and I'm trying different methods, different ways of trying to slick down my hair to see the best results. Now I'm I'll be using the EBI and edge control and guys I'm talking about this head edge control like on multiple occasions. Like I don't know if this edge control is bipolar or I don't know because sometime it works excellent and it's one time it's like girl. What the hell's, like you, know, letting me down, so what I? What I mean by that is that this time, our own it it has like super old, but it's still giving that white residue and I'm like, I barely use any product in my ear. Likewise, the edge control like white, okay, so to help with the white residue after I put on the edge control, I use oil over it just to help with the sheen and just to just fight off the whiteness like it's some type of disease, like our noses. Anyway, so, as you guys can see, I did my hair in sections in terms of sticking it down and that's for the best result and I blow-dry my hair, not flat iron. It like I didn't, go all the way through with that, because I think it was necessary, so I blow dried, my hair, so that it could be straight enough where my hair would just be flat like. I think this is the flattest I've ever gotten my hair, which I am pleasantly surprised by so edge control and then oil. That'S basically the method that I'm using. You can use any edge control that you have any one that works best for you, and the reason why I haven't been using gel to do my sit down is because I feel like gel feels heavier, especially when you do it in sections like this, and it Takes forever to dry, as opposed with the edge control it dries like in minutes like your hair, doesn't feel heavy doesn't move way down. It just feels sleek and light at the same time. So I'm just gon na finish up soaking down my hair, then I'm gon na show you guys a method that I do to do. Those who didn't do it is that I'm always doing so. Yes, you guys can watch to see how I do that you, you you, but I've gotten the edges all the way together, I'm just going to tie it down my hair for a couple of minutes so that it could drying. Please and I'll say here that I'm using is expression brave. You can find this at your local beauty supply store. You can find it online, but it's really cheap at your local beauty. Supply store to get it there. So now, as you guys know with expression here, unless you buy the pre stretched hair, the regular expression braid is um. It'S like a blunt cut at the end, so you need to stretch it out or string it out. So this is how I'm going to be doing that, so that and still look what I'm I think so the ends don't look like a blunt cut and then I'm just showing you guys the method of how to do the hair tie on your braided hair, like To get that secured, thingymajig I'll, even know what they call this, like I'm just making up [ __ ] it's cold thanks! So yeah I'm gon na strung out like untangle the hair, especially cuz when you do the stretch, prepare for the hair to be a little bit tangle. So this is how my hair is looking. So far like I haven't seen any white residue, so I was pleasantly surprised. I'M gon na show you guys where I might've messed up and caused my hair to get like white over time, but for now it's looking like balm, so disregard for disregard. What I'm going to do later on in terms of adding mousse, don't add no more product to the hair, like just the edge control and the oil? If you want to avoid that white stuff cuz looking at it now, I'm not seeing anything until like y'all gon na see you later down in the video. Now I'm not a breeder, but I can do a little thing. If you know me, I can do a little something something something and also for this part, if you only bought one pack of expression brain you want to leave out a little piece of here, so that it could wrap at the base too late after I finish, Braiding this hair did, I realize I didn't take out the piece or I had to like - take out a piece out of another pack to wrap on the base. So if you only want one pack, which one pack is good for this, you just want to take out that little piece right. There see I'm now trimming up the ends of the braid and off-camera. I did dip the brain in hot water. So if later on, it looks a little bit slimmer, it's because I dipped it in hot water. So now this is a piece of hair that I'm gon na put to rock at the base. So if you use one packet here like I said, you want to just separate this from the rest, so I'm just detangling it so that it can be like a smooth wrap. So I'm just gon na wrap that around and then I'm going to be using the got to be glued freezing spring, because this really sticks it down, especially if you don't wan na use bobby pins or anything like that. Just use a got to me freezing spray. They use a blow dryer so that it dry and like it stays in place. So I'm just looking how my hair is looking right now, as I said, I ain't seen anything white right now, like I added some more hair oil or any type of oil that you have just add the sheen and I feel like it's when I added this Mousse that I got a little bit of white sleep, it didn't even flake, it wasn't flicked. It was just like white residue later on so disregard this smooth repeat: don't have no mousse just edge control and oil, so I'm just gon na tie it on my hair. While I go ahead and finish up my makeup, so this is how the ponytail is looking. As I said, I dipped it in hot water, so it's a little bit slimmer and now these hair, Jules I got from Amazon. So I just wanted something a little bit different for the ponytail, and so I just I didn't look clean. Where did I see this look as soon as I figure out where I saw this, look I'm on my, I might put it in the comments of y'all. Remember but I wanted it to look like studs in the braids, the hair things were a little bit long, so I had to manipulate them to meet them, lay flat and yeah. That is basically it for the look. I also added like some hair accessories on the side like those pearly hairpins, and that is basically it for. The look don't forget to follow me on Instagram, snapchat and Twitter act. Damn f! I got this look inspired by Beyonce's long ponytail that she wore to the Tyler Perry, studio opening, and I was just in love with that braid. I wasn't gon na. I've watched another youtuber named crowned K, when doing her sleek ponytails she used the style factor edge control which is a similar consistency as the EBIN edge control, she uses a little bit of clear gel followed by sheen spray after using the edge control to make the ponytail. I've tried her method on my hair with both edge controls and it helps with the white residue. Just not a lot of clear gel just a little of course to avoid your hair waving back up.

It turns white because it’s not smoothed in all the way the white means it’s to much product” man I felt so stupid I would thoroughly smooth in my edge control or what ever products and it wouldn’t turn white anymore♀️. Danielle Souza: To get a really slick sleek back on type 4 hair is moisture. Using a lot of water and eco gel really helps. I have 4b\c textured thick hair and this method has my hair flat. For the edges you can use gorilla snot or got2beglued gel. Trust me it works and also use smaller sections if you want it really FLAT!

Moor Gigi: Straighten your hair a little with a flat iron, then use Curl wax (NOT BEESWAX) sleek it down. Heat the curl wax up a little (blow dryer) then apply to your hair. Hope this helps
Jojo: Use jam extra hold. When sleeking down each section of hair. And only use got2be glue hair gel black tube along with the jam*(just to hold your style and kee dowp heat from melting the jam) to sleek down the top of your hair with the styling jam, it wont give you white residue

lovelyrosebw: I feel you on edge control, sometimes it slicks the hell outta my hair and it stays that way all day all the while giving it shine, then other times it don’t do nothing won’t slick it up no matter how much I use, it just keeps softening as I put it on, but what I found for me if I put it on freshly washed hair with no other products in it, it works like a charm but if I use it on hair not freshly washed with other products in it, it won’t really slick up my hair like I want it just gets soft and greasy
