Wow! Add Some Length To Your 4C Natural Hair | Sleek Diy Ponytail Using Afro Curly Bundles

My name is Athena, and this is my creative space here I have 4c here and I'll teach you how to take care of your natural hair and then some fun videos every once in a while. So today, I'm gon na be showing you how I create my signature. Low, puff, ponytail. Look! So, typically, you can create this look with bundles clippings or even like the drawstring ponytail method, but this time I'm actually showing you guys how I created this. Look with my? U part wig, so this hair is from my hair collection crowned bells. I'M gon na link. It down below this is the afro curly texture and 14 and 16 inches. So this is one of my favorite natural hairstyles, because it's very like simple and elegant, and it really does not take that much time to achieve and it's actually perfect for most. You know fancy occasions, so if you want to see how I created this look then keep on watching so to start off. The first thing I do is that I make sure that my hair is stretched out. So I just washed my hair, and then I blew it out and I'm gon na be showing you how I just brush out the roots to make sure that it's really stretched out at the roots. I think this is what's gon na make a difference when it comes to sleeping it down, so I'm using the eco styler gel. I like the one, that's in the green bottle. It works for me. So what I do is I just rub it into my hair. Get all of my edges and everything and I take my boar bristle brush and then I start brushing down my hair to smooth it out. You see how easy it's able to smooth it out once my hair has been detangled and stretched out. So this is the trick. Whoever asked me how you get your hair, so sleek. This is my secret, so the next thing I do is I take the gorillas, not Jo, and I basically place that on top of the eco styler gel and then I go ahead and secure that down into a low ponytail with my scrunchie, though this is a Whole challenge, it usually takes me a while to gather up all the hair in the back, but once we're done, we get a sleep low ponytail. So then I just take a little bit more gel and apply it to my eye. Just so, let's just ignore my orange forehead, you know, let's just pretend is not dead. I wasn't completely done with my makeup. So yeah, let's get that part for now so then I just go ahead and brush out the ponytail, and then this is the hair. This was the 14 and 16 inch of my afro curly textured hair. For yourself, so next thing I do is I take my bobby pins and I secure this down, so you notice that I have a scrunchie that is hooked onto this wig, so I basically wrap that around my hair and then I pin it down with the pins. So if you're wondering with this hair, all I did before installing it was, I just deep conditioned it and let it air dry and it gives you this nice beautiful curl. I just love it and it matches my hair texture so well. So what I'm doing here is I'm just making sure that the top portion is covered, so I lift up the hair and I pin it to my hair so just create that full ponytail look. So then. The next thing I do is I just take: some gel in you know, take out my sideburns and make it a little bit curly, and then I couldn't find where my black scarf was. So that's why I'm using this shiny, gray, silver scarf, so it worked. So I just leave that on for a few minutes just to set the gel down, set my hair down, and then I fluff it out. So I still take this coconut serum and I just Pat it on top of my hair, just to get it a little bit more shiny and I put some on the actual hair itself and that's it.
