How To Achieve A Double Ponytail On Natural Hair L Sorta Messy, But Really Cute!!!

Do now hey aphrodisiacs, it's me khadijah, so in today's video i'm going to show you all how i achieve my double ponytail, which you guys saw a few videos back, and i got some questions on how i achieved the look. So that is what we're gon na be doing today in this video. It is super easy to achieve so we're just gon na hop right in now. My hair was twisted last night using this product right here, which is one of my favs. It is the camaros naturals brown buttermilk, it's a softening pomade, and this gives me the most amazing dry, twist outs ever and basically a dry twist out. For me at least it's just twisting my old dirty hair and using this pomade to kind of revamp my style and give me like a stretch twist out. I can do a video on my dry twist out with this product, because i haven't done that yet so, if you want to see it then just give this video a big thumbs up. So this is what my hair is looking like after i've unraveled those twists and i'm going to go ahead and pick my hair, because for this double ponytail we want to have some volume, of course. So that's what this is going to help with now. I do like to do this hairstyle on stretched hair, because i feel like that's how my ponytail looks the best. I haven't actually tried this on fresh hair or shrunken hair. So if you want like the best results, i would say to like start on older, more stretched out hair. Now, i'm going to section my hair off taking two pieces from the front of my hair and i do need to readjust my camera angle. So you guys can see the whole hairstyle. So now that i have those two pieces out, i am just trying to make sure that they're, even and now, i'm just spritzing this front area of my hair with some water, applying my camaro's naturals fresh, curl, revitalizing, hair, smoother, which you guys know. I absolutely love i'll, have a video down below that. I did dedicated on this product and all the different ways that i use it. I'M gon na seal in that moisture with some extrusion olive oil. I did brush my hair, but i don't know where that footage went and i'm also going to use a hair tie and secure it. Now we have this half up half down situation and i love to wear my hair like this, especially when my hair is on its last leg. It needs to be washed. This is a great way to ramp. My style and my hair looks super fresh except it's not, but it looks really good. So you can wear your hair like this or you can do the double ponytail, which is what i'm going to show you guys right now. So i'm spritzing the back of my hair with some water, taking some more of the fresh curl sealing that with extrusion olive oil and i'm going to grab my denman brush, which i have been trying out lately as like a more gentle option for brushing my hair Back it doesn't work as good as my board bristle brush, but i do like to use it to get my hair in the upwards position first, so i have been testing that out for maybe like one or two weeks to see how that does, and it does Pretty good now, i'm going to take my bunsen band hair tie, and this is a really important part of this hairstyle, because these hair ties are amazing. If you're trying to achieve a really nice and secure hairstyle without it being too tight or giving you headaches. These hair ties i highly recommend i did a review on these a while back and they are still in the exact same condition that i showed you guys they don't stretch out or lose their shape. So it has this bead at the end which you pull to adjust, so i just wrapped it around three times and pulled the bead to tighten it and have this perfect pony. So now you can see that the hair is at the top of my head. Of course, and because it is stretched out, it looks elongated and i guess that's what gives it the kind of messy look. So i'm going in with my afro pick once again to give my ponytail some height and after i'm done with that, i'm going to apply some more fresh curl, because i wanted for the front of my hair to be a bit more smooth. Even though the ponytail does cover a bit of the front of my hair, i just wanted to make sure that it was like really sleek really flat. So i'm just brushing that and then i'm also going to take my pink square scarf, which i'll leave a link down below for where i purchased this, and whenever i use a scarf. I just leave it on for like 10 minutes and it gets my hair super laid. So i'm just going to leave this on for about 10 minutes and then come back so 10 minutes later. This is how my hair is looking like. I said this gets my hair super super laid and the combination of the fresh curl with extra virgin olive oil and the scarf it just makes my hair look so so good, and i love that i don't have to use gel to get a sleek hairstyle. So this is pretty much my double ponytail that you guys wanted to see. I'M just brushing my baby hairs. Now i don't do anything too crazy. So i love to do this. Look at the end of the week when i need to wash my hair, but maybe i don't have time or even if i just want to do this cute updo. This has been a really cute hairstyle that i've been gravitating towards and it's really easy to achieve. So i hope you all enjoyed found it helpful.
