Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's jonah if you're new here make sure you hit that subscribe button down below, i usually post randomly and i don't have a specific day. I post but just make sure you're here turn a notification. Bellow so you'll know to be notified. When i post, i post a lot of fashion content, styling drifting, all of that, but i've been getting into the hair makeup. So today we're just going to be doing this ponytail y'all. I love this ponytail. I literally did it in 10 minutes it's a 10 hairstyle like it's 10 out of 10.. It matches my hair texture, so so perfectly so yeah i wanted to put all the girls on i've been wearing this all summer. I wear it all year round. I think it matches all the weather, so yep i'll just be showing you how i did this in 10 minutes literally, all i used was one product and some water. That was it. It'S so perfect got to put the girls on like i said it was only like ten dollars, it's from the brand sensational, so yeah, let's jump right into it, hey y'all, so we're starting on freshly washed hair. My hair was in two braids for a couple of days and i just took them out so you'll just see me fluffing it out. I didn't think the blow dryer because it was just like whatever, let's just get to it, so i only be using two products for this video i'll be using water with conditioner and then the extreme wetland gel this gel is about three dollars at target. I love it like i love it. I never thought i could stick my 4c hair, but this has achieved the mission so to start off, i just spray my hair first to get a really damp, just spray it all over then, along with the gel and the water. I just use these two brushes that i found in dollar tree make sure they're hard bristles, so they can really really slick your hair down so yeah i just spray it to get it really saturated in a way. I don't want it soaking wet, but just saturated enough to work with so i'll keep just wetting it until i feel like it's the desired moisture that i need to really slick my hair down. So, as i'm wetting it, i just you know, keep spraying, and then i apply the gel. So when i start applying the gel, i make sure it's the thick thick layers to really really get in there, like you really got to get in there and then you get the brush and really really stick it down. So i do this until i feel as though it's a good amount of gel and y'all. If the brush isn't slicking it like this, you do not need it. Like. I said this brush was one dollar from dollar tree like that's all you need like, or you could go to the hair store and get those brushes that boys use for their waves just make sure it's a hard bristle brush. So i use the brush to slick the whole front perimeter of my hair and then i put more gel in the back and then i make sure the back is slick and i continue to brush up there. Y'All, like i said, make sure to keep slicking. If your eyebrows aren't coming up, you're, not slicking hard enough make sure you're gripping as hard as you can, but do not give yourself a headache, because i have done that and that is the worst pain possible. I had to take my hair out and do it all over again, so once you get it slick to your desired length, i use two scrunchies. I also got these from the hair. I mean i also got them from dollar tree, so yeah. I make sure it's two thick scrunchies that doesn't have the metal piece in the middle just to make sure it doesn't hurt. So i just put it in a little top knot and that'll. Be it once you secure your bun just make sure it's in there and then the rest of the hair. You can just wrap it around a little bun but, like i said, do not make it too tight just make sure it's a comfortable amount of pressure on your head, so it doesn't hurt so there's my little bun. Of course, i could have slicked it more but, like i said, i don't want a tight ponytail, because i just wanted to look as natural as i can, and this is how i like to do it once my hair is in a bun. I just apply more gel in the back to really make sure that it's really slick and yeah, then i'll just grab the ponytail. We really really get to work and that'll be the easy part. The hard work is done. Y'All the hard work is done. This is the extra method i do you don't really have to unless there's a preference. I also got this hairspray from the dollar tree. It'S just extra reassurance for me, so i just spray it all around my perimeter because that's where i get the most fly aways to really make sure my hair is sticking down. So next i just grab the ponytail out of my hair drawer. It'S in the drawer with a bunch of other wigs and braid hair. That'S why i look like it's been through it, but it's fine! That'S just how the texture is. So this is just a ponytail from sensation. They have a bunch of other textures. I also have a curly one, but this one is perfect for my hair texture and it has a drawstring and then there's two clips in the front in the back. So before i apply the ponytail just make sure to keep coloring it out, making sure my hair is clicked down and then i just get to applying. So, to start off, like i said, it's two combs i'll secure the front comb and then i secure the back comb once the two combs are secured to my preference, i make sure to pull the drawstring as tight as i can, or as tight as my head. Can take so as i'm pulling the drawstring, i'm also wrapping it around so that i can tuck it within the ponytail once the ponytail is in and i'm satisfied i make sure to take a piece of hair from the ponytail to wrap around the drawstring. So i can really secure it and make sure that it's concealed and that it isn't out and it won't you know, come out or anything. So i just take a little piece and just as you can see i'll wrap it around the entire ponytail once i'm done, concealing the string it's time to do my edges for my edges, i could also use the extreme wetland gel, but i decided to use the 24 hour, even new york edge control, like i said, wet line works as well, but this is just a stronger hold, so you don't have to use this, but i advise it for my hair texture. It works perfectly so, as you can see, i'm just using a toothbrush and i'm just going to do a couple swoops in the back on the left and the right side. I'M thinking i might do a video testing out different types of edge controls for 4c edges. If you want to see that video - just let me know down below in the comments, because i'm so excited to try new products, i'm always down to try something new, especially if it's affordable as well once my edges are done, we're ready to go i'll. Stick my hair with a scarf after this, and then i just go beat my face, so i will see y'all at the end once we're all pulled together, so so cute and period my face is beat. I did some content shooting today, so make sure to follow me on instagram and i'll see you guys my next video bye
