A little about me:

My name is Kya Odum. I am 25 years old. While in college I discovered a true love for all things beauty and I thought why not record this for YouTube. Believe it or not throughout highschool, purchasing anything makeup related (besides mascara) was the last thing on my mind. Until senior year, I tried covergirl powder bam, my life changed. I loved the powdered down matte look. Fast forward to about 2017 I moved to Columbus, Ohio at 22 and realized I didn't have anyone there to do my hair so I started getting into wigs and here we are. My channel focuses on what I enjoy the most. I love all things beauty. You will get a little of makeup tutorials, hair reviews, oh and cooking, and really just me being me. I hope you all enjoy. If you ever want to talk or reach out to me, please feel free to DM me on Instagram (@ko_glamour). Thank you so much for tuning in and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!

This wig was sent to me for review purposes. All opinions are my own, TRUST and BELIEVE. We giving straight honesty over here. Love you guys!

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel. My name is kaya for those of you who are new in today's video i'm coming on camera with my natural hair. Looking like honestly, i woke up with my hair like this. This is just how it look looks when i woke up, because i went to sleep with it in a ponytail. The reason i'm coming on camera today, though, with my hair in its natural state, is because i'm gon na have to do a little bit of work with my natural hair. Today i have a new unit from neo wigs. It is a! U part unit, you guys that i will be trying out today and it is actually a kinky textured wig, so i'm excited for it because it's like my textured hair and i really hope that it's gon na blend really well today. So i'm gon na snap, my fingers and then i'm gon na come back on camera with just my leave out out and my hair pull back and not like this. So let me go ahead and do that foreign, so so! Well guys, i am done with installing this u-part wig from neo wigs and as you can see, it looks pretty good, i'm gon na say it looks pretty good and i would most definitely wear this wig out, i'm going to start off with um. Let'S just start off with the cons, shall we the pieces right here in the front, as you saw when i was installing it, i kind of have to adjust it and play with it about three or four times and during that process these front flaps will just Not lay flat - and i really do not think that it is because of my hair. I think it's because the sizing of the wig and then my size of my head and when i say that i did the adjustable straps right. I did them as tight as they could go because it was just a little big, so it is big head friendly. However, when i did that i did the adjustable straps one of the pieces broke in the back as in like where you tuck in the strap to make it stay the furthest one to make it as tight as possible. It broke. So that was a no-go. It made it kind of um. Well, i had to adjust the sizing, obviously to make it a little bit looser when i wanted it to be tighter, and then these flaps up here in the front due to me having to do the adjustable straps these these little pieces right here in the front In the front corners they're kind of going to make it like, i got like double ears because it won't lay flat, so i ended up taking the bobby pin to my head to make. It lie a little bit flatter. I didn't have to do it on this side, but i didn't have to do it on the right side. Like the right side. It just wasn't sitting right and i mean it could be from my neck. My it could be from my natural hairline that maybe my hairline just doesn't align right with this. You part wig, but i don't know i feel, like you part wig should be universal, that they would align with anybody's hairline, but that might not be the case. I'M really not sure so yeah, besides the adjustable, strap and then these front flaps here. I think those are the only two cons. I have i'm not sure if you would consider this a con. However, i would say that i would prefer for this to have like snap on combs to make it feel more secure and the fact that you have to install your own instead of it coming that way. You know it's kind of like iffy just a little bit. I would prefer just the snappable ones instead of just combs in general, because i mean this yes, this feels secure, but i want that extra security from knowing that my cones are like snapped and hooked in. If you get what i'm saying now on to the pros, i really love the density of this wig. I'M going to pull up the information on my phone to make sure i give you guys the exact density of this unit. So, let's see i have an 18 inch, so this is an 18 inch unit. Long wig i'll stand up for you guys, so you can see how long it is. It stops like right here at my boobs. I have a bigger chest. I know um and then i got mine made with the middle part now on their website. They do have it where you can decide where you want your part to be. If you do decide to order a u-part, wig i'll put like a little video here. So you can see the scrolling of this wig. Let'S go ahead and scroll. Let'S do this now. This is the yaki straight. You part human hair wig, and then this one shows the left part opening. However, you can get it with a middle part, and mine, like i said, is 18 inches long and i got it in the 1b natural color and then for my cap size. I just put in medium really think that i didn't. I didn't choose what cap size. I wanted, i think they probably just sent just the medium since that's probably like an average sizing of 22, so yeah but yeah. This is the unit that i got, but it doesn't say what the density is of this unit. Let me see if i scroll so, unfortunately it doesn't exactly say what the density of this unit is. However, they do give you a lot of details in their picture descriptions. It shows you like the opening size and it also. Well, you get three different options of your opening size and then you also, it shows how deep your parting space would be. Unfortunately, guys i don't know the density, but i would say this is probably 100 to 450. It'S thick, but it's not super thick because you can even see from the ends how it starts to thin out a little bit. So it's thick, it's like a natural thick. I would say this is how i would like for my natural hair to look. I would like for it to be this thick. If that makes any sense now during the straightening process, it straightened out really good. I think that that turned out really well. I didn't have any shedding problems. There'S no tangling problems. Of course, with the? U part wig, you will just have to do a little extra work as far as making sure that your leave out blends with the u-part wig. I definitely think that this texture unit is awesome for anyone who might have like 4b to 4c hair. I think it'll be great for you. I definitely think this is probably for someone who wants to have like maybe like a sew-in vibe instead of you having to deal with the frontal. I think you part wigs are an extremely nice way to go, for you still get like that big experience, but also still have your natural hair out. So it might just feel a little bit more comfortable to you if you're still just trying to adjust into getting into wearing wigs. I feel like this would be a great starter to that and wigs. I don't have anything negative to say about this unit. I definitely say this is one i would suggest you try you part. Wig is something i think should be in people's collections for sure it's just a different experience versus you putting on a lace, frontal or lace front wig. It'S just a completely different experience and i definitely think you should try it out. If you guys are interested in it, i will be putting it in my description box below for you to try and it's really all i got for you guys. If you have any questions about the unit, like, i always say, leave in the description box below in the comment section box below, and i will answer your question if you got this far, please make sure you subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell below. As well, that's all i have for you guys today. I really hope you guys enjoyed today's video and until next time, i'll see you guys my next one bye, guys
