Hey everyone, so I'm doing another video really quick. This time. If you saw my previous video, then you know I've had my hair in these four angled cornrows for a couple of weeks, and I just want to change it up. So I'm gon na take two of the braids and then flip it over on my head and I'm basically just gon na pin them down. It'S a way to kind of give myself a break from the long braids and then do another style, but still protective styling, and it's super simple. You could probably do this on any type of braids that you may have I'm using kinky curly yaki clippings. I bought these maybe a year ago and it comes the set I bought. I can't remember the number of grams I'll have it down in the description box below, but for this style I think I only used eight of the clippings. I might have gotten ten, but I only used eight for this style and I wanted to do something kind of fun kind of edgy, but still protective, and I didn't want to take out the braids right away. But I was ready to just change up the look. A little bit so this is an option if you've got a similar, hairstyle or maybe you just have regular cornrows and you kind of want to curly look without having to take out your braids again right here I put the clip in backwards. So when you flip it over, you don't see the track and that's the trick I was using because I don't have any leave out, but I want I don't want it to look like you can see the track. So I just put the clip on facing right over my face and then flipped it over and use the bobby pin to keep it in place. Super quick little clip in hack, for you don't remember where I saw it. So it wasn't me, but I'm using the part as a guide. I want the part to be part of the braids to be showing make it a little edgy. So I'm just gon na put the last few clippings on and as you can see on that right above the part, I put it on backwards. Basically, and then, when I flip it over, you don't see the tracks. If there's a little bit sticking out you're, just gon na take a small, bobby, pin and then pin that in place, but make sure it's comfortable, don't make it too tight. The whole point of this style is to continue to protective style, your hair, which is what I've been doing all summer long, and this is the the look that we have. I wanted to add some gold, the filigree cuffs that I just got at the beauty. Supply store just to add up the edge factor or increase the edge factor. I guess I don't know, don't listen to me, but I just used three of these little cuffs to make it kind of cool and unique, and then that braids would kind of stand out. As you can see, the clip ins flipped over, you don't even see the tracks, and you could do this if you just wanted more volume too, if you wanted to add volume to your clippings, put them in upside down and then flip them back and then they Kind of create their own volume, so I just have this spray bottle here: full of water, I'm just going to lightly miss the hair because it was, they had been freshly washed that their curls were just a little stiff, so adding some water kind of gives it A more effortless lived-in look and then, if you got a fringe that you don't want in your face, because I can't stand when my bangs are in my face. I like framing my face, but I don't want to like have oils all over my glasses, because I wear reading glasses, so I'm just gon na add a little bit more water do some fluffing and that's it for the style. If you guys are interested in trying this, let me know about how it works for you. I will have details in the description box of the clip ins how much they were the inches, how many grams? All of that in the description box below. I hope this video was interesting and if you guys want to see more content, like this, be sure to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe, also hit the notification bells.
