Hey you guys welcome back to my channel so for today's video, I'm gon na be showing you how I go from this to this long ponytail with no extensions and no hair clips whatsoever. So, just to give you a little reference point, this is my hair, and this is what it looks like in just a regular ponytail. This is my regular go-to everyday ponytail that I'm putting in she's cute she's, spunky, she's, sporty she's, a cute ponytail and there's nothing wrong with this ponytail, but sometimes you just want a little more in length. So, first to get some length, I decided to try the old school method. You spacely split your hair in two and you put the top one in a ponytail and then you try to fit the bottom hair into a ponytail as close to the top one. As you possibly can it kind of works, and it definitely gives you a lot more length, but the problem is when you turn to the side. This is what it looks like I mean it might be cute on some people were not on my gigantic head, so I took that down and of course I took to YouTube to find some method that will make my hair a little longer and fuller in a Ponytail, I know you guys, as usual, I'm late to this party, but this is the first time trying this method on my hair. For the first step, I'm going to part my hair off at the crown, so the back portion of the part, if that makes any sense right there. That is where your ponytail will be. So you want to make this as far up or down as you want, depending on how high you want the ponytail. Next, I'm going to use my fingers and make a v-shape part in the back of my head, so you cannotice, I'm not using any combs or any precision, because all these parts are going to be hidden. So you don't have to be neat with it, but you want to section up a substantial portion of hair on especially the sides and actually went back and left out a little more hair at the nape of the neck and you'll see. Why, later, when I put it in a ponytail, so after you make your V part, you should have two loose sections of hair on either side and two portions of hair secured the top one that we've made first and in the middle portion after the V part. Once those are done, you can take the first portion down and start forming your ponytail, so I'm going to do is smooth down the front portion. Just like you would making a regular ponytail just be careful when you're brushing it not to snag that portion. That'S secure! It in the middle of your head now you can see I'll gather the side, sections up and incorporate that into a ponytail. So here's just another view of me taking down all the sections and incorporating them into one again, just be careful not to snag the hair. In the middle that portion that's still secure, while you're brushing the loose sections, also when you're done and that upper ponytail is done, you shouldn't see any other parts that you made before after you tie that top ponytail, you can go ahead and let down the middle Section of hair, this is going to be loose hair, and this is going to be the length portion of your ponytail after you light it down. It should look something like this. Of course, you're going to have to do some adjusting to blend the two sections of hair, but this is what it should look like. I found out watching other people's tutorials that this looks even better if your hair is natural, like your wavy texture or you curl. Your hair, because it looks like layers just saw the two different sections, but this is the final result. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
