I recently got my hair cut short and i was absolutely in love with it, and i was sick of having my extensions that i had. However, a hair extension company actually reached out to me called loosened hair. I really really hope i'm pronouncing that right, but it was basically a really nice brand and they reached out to me asking if i would like to try some of their hair extensions and obviously i said yes because i want to share them with you guys see If they're the goods see, if they're not now, i've actually got the hair extensions in right now i actually got the ponytail hair extension and i am freaking obsessed with it. It'S so easy to put in, like i was really nervous, because i'm definitely not good with my hair. I think i've explained that quite a few times like i'm so bad at doing my hair and that's why i love having short hair, because i don't have to do much with it like. I can literally just flick it about and curl it a little bit and it's all good to go. And, however, when you have long hair, i feel like it's really hard to look after and it's really hard to style, sometimes because you have so much of it. However, i really wanted to try out one of their hair extension ponytails. So then, on the nights where i really wish, i had my long hair back and i really wish i could just like put it up and it looked nice in a bubble, because if you guys have short hair, you guys will know the ick of having short Hair and trying to put it up in a bubble, it literally looks disgusting. Like that's my opinion anyway, it literally just looks like three strands stuck up and i just hate it. However, there is some days where i really fancy popping it into a bobble, and so this has sorted me right out. I absolutely love it. The hair is incredible, and it just looks like my own hair, like i genuinely do not think it looks fake. It'S not too much it's not too little like it's literally. I can't really say anything but amazing. Okay, so in this video i'm actually going to share with you guys a bit about the brand, i'm also going to unbox the hair extensions with you guys show you how they come, how they're packaged and the instructions that you have to look after them and finally, But not least, i'm actually gon na share with you guys how i put these extensions in and how super quick and easy they are to work with. I was really really afraid that i was gon na properly struggle on this video. However, then literally took me minutes to pop in that's so good, so quickly easy and looks so put together so yeah. I just feel like a boss, and i feel like sometimes those girls want to feel like a boss and to feel like a boss, definitely recommend picking up these extensions. I wouldn't say that unless it's coming from my heart and it's the honest truth, so yeah, okay, so now that i've run through all the things about the brand itself, i actually wanted to move into the unboxing of the hair extensions which i'm pretty sure we are All super super excited for so this is the box that arrived in the post from luzon's hair. I hope i'm pronouncing that right fingers crossed. I am because i'm not 100 sure. However, it comes in this gorgeous pink box now who doesn't love a good pink box, because this definitely appealed to me and i feel like it, looks very expensive. It looks luxurious and i just love how like simple the box is, i feel, like it's very effective. The color really stands out and just really grabs attention so yeah. I absolutely love the packaging of this, and when i open this up, i was actually really pleasantly surprised, as the extensions themselves actually came in this gorgeous satin bag. Now, how expensive does this look? I feel like this is such an extra touch that the company has gone through to pop the extensions. In again, the ribbon like drawstring matches the box, which i think is really nice added detail and then obviously the bag itself. Is this gorgeous like champagne, goldy color and again, you could use this for storage or you could even just continue using this to store your extensions, which is something that i'm going to do, because i have actually ordered extensions before. However, they've just got really naughty and disgusting and i've had nowhere to care for them. I just haven't found ones which i love myself. However, with this i feel like this is such an extra touch? The company have gone an extra mile to find somewhere where someone can keep their hair at central. So i absolutely love this touch and then the hair extensions actually came in this, but they came in like a netted thing that kept all the hair extensions right in place, so they wouldn't get knotted and tangled. But obviously i have got the extensions out so moving on to the extensions themselves. These are the extensions that kindly got sent to me. Obviously, that does not change my opinions at all whatsoever, so i actually got sent the ponytail, but i will leave all the details in the description box below in case anyone wants to pick out these exact ones. However, i just think this is such a good idea, because, like me, i have short hair and i absolutely love my short hair. I love styling it. I love how it looks. I feel like it's healthy, however, sometimes when you do jump from having long hair to short hair. Sometimes you do really really wish that you just had your long hair back and sometimes you make rash decisions into growing your hair or getting extensions which are not the ones that you can remove and that's something that i did and i regretted it. However, i just think this is a quick, easy way to restyle your hair and to just have the long hair that you've been wishing for really now. The quality of this hair is in sieve. It'S shiny, it's soft! It feels real, it doesn't feel plastic at all. It'S literally amazing, now also all about the color. Now you guys probably sat there thinking katie this color does not match your hair at all. However, i obviously have balayage kind of like root stretch hair, so the ends of my hair are a lot lighter than the top part of my hair. So i was really really nervous when picking out a color from this company. However, i actually just dm to the company over on instagram. It didn't take them long to reply at all and they replied and they actually just got me to send a first win of my hair in natural daylight, and then they matched these up for me, which i'm so glad that they did because it saved me a Big job of trying to find out which ones i liked and which ones fit my hair and, as you guys can see the match to the ends of my hair is incredible. Like i actually don't think you could get a closer match than that, and that was literally from one photo that i sent them. So they definitely definitely know what they're talking about, which again is another great thing about this brand, because some brands are like send you products and they're, not the right, color or they're, not sure on what to send you. However, this brand straightaway sent me this, so i love that and then within the box. It also came with a little note. Just saying thank you, which i thought was super cute. It just says, dear kids, he's so excited to have you as part of the team. I can't wait to see these on you, the team at louisiana hair, which i think is really cute, and it also came with some care instructions which i think is absolutely wonderful, because i never know what i'm doing with hair extensions, and i really want to take Care of these, because these actually feel like really good quality, so it says, make sure you detangle them after you've, worn them and obviously tie them together, once you've used them in a soft hair tie or something just to keep them from knotting together. So it also says to gently store the hair in the louisiana hair box, which is obviously you can store it in this one. Here, however, you can, if you want, go on the website and they actually have some little accessories and little pieces that you can actually buy and which i didn't receive, but you can actually go on the website and buy them. They have like an extension, hanger, um and also some big boxes, which you can store extensions in which looking at it now, i kind of wish i had because it would make me have more extra care with my extensions. It says, wash your hair extensions. After only 30 uses - and now that sounds disgusting, but it's literally just prolong the hair extensions. Obviously you don't want to damage them and stuff like that, and it says wash them using a mild shampoo and leave the conditioner for at least 10 minutes before rinsing. As you don't want the hair getting really like tangly and straggly, or anything like that - and it also says, use a heat protectant before styling. So that's something which i find really useful because with some hair extensions you're actually not allowed to apply heat. However, with these ones, you are allowed to style them yourself, which i think is another complete bonus. Obviously don't forget to use hair protectant, because you still want to keep a good maintain of your hair okay. So now i've run through what the box looks like what the company is. I now actually want to show you how i pop these hair extensions in so that i just want to clarify quickly before i go into putting these extensions in i'm not hairstylist at all. This is just my way and that i find easiest to do. Obviously, if you found an easier way, then that's great, but i'm just here to show you guys how i pop them in and what they look like on me, and i really really hope you enjoyed this video okay. So when i'm popping in my hair extensions, i actually just used these products, which i'll just run through quickly. So i just use a normal hair brush just to like obviously brush my hair, and then i also use the nectar, coconut divine shine, hair oil just to kind of give my hair a little bit of shine. I also use the derma v10 styling wax strong hold wax just because i, like the top bit of my hair, to be quite flat. I don't like it to be all loose and having all their baby hairs hanging out, and then i also just use two bubbles. I tend to have a thinner one for underneath and then the thicker one for the top of my own hair and then obviously the hair extensions themselves. So this is what the hair looks like before. Just to show you guys. Okay, so first thing says: i'm going to take this bubble here and i'm just going to take a bit of the wax now you don't want too much of this, because you don't want your hair. Looking too greasy, i rub it in my hands to make sure it's nice and warm and easy to apply on my hair and then i'm just gon na flatten the top bits down and again. This just gets rid of all my baby hairs because i absolutely hate having baby hairs in there like that, and obviously you can apply more if you need to, but it's just to get like the base of it covered. So, as you can see, it's just like flattened my hair completely down now, because i have really short hair, i'm just going to pull it up like a sir as tight as i can, so i'm just going to go on his side, so you want to literally Pull it as tight as you can to your head, sorry, and then you want to use the brush to scrape up any extra hair and keep as tight hold as you want now. This process does take quite a while because you want to try and remove any bumps that in your hair, to get a really nice finish with the hair extensions in so as you can see, really pulling it up and stuff like that. And then, while you're doing that, you can then just take a little bit more of the gel and just kind of pop it wherever you need to. So mine tends to be mostly on the sides and at the top of my hair and again scraping it back. Like so, okay, so once i'm kind of happy with how it looks, i then just want to take the thinner bubble and tie it around my hair. Okay, now you can see how short my hair is. It looks atrocious. I'M then going to take this second bubble and again smooth it down and then tie this around, and this is the one which is really going to grip your hair together and really hold your hair in place. And then you want to pull it as tight. As you can, obviously you don't want to hurt your head, but you want to get it really tight. So then it's going to keep hold like that. So look. How short my hair is. This is why i hate wearing it in a bubble when my hair is short and why i love extensions when i have my hair up so then, because i do have a really really short hair, you guys will know the drill. If you have short hair too, you get these kind of hanging bits that hang down below do not worry about these, so basically what you're going to do is you're going to grab them at the back like so i'll just turn around, so you guys can see, And you want to just twist them, and this just makes sure that all the baby hairs are joined together. And then you want to just move your hair pop them up, like so and you're, going to take a hair grip and just fasten it to the top of your hair. Now, and i know at first this might seem a little bit messy at the back. However, once you add your hair extensions, i promise you, you will not even see this now, you add as many hair grips as you feel. You need to secure the little dangly bits of hair and then what i do is i take a little bit of my coconut oil and i just place that on my hand now you only need the tiniest bit. This is like an extra step. You don't have to go this far, but i just use it to basically brush over any bits of baby hair which might have not been caught in the wax or anything like that, and it just makes it nice and shiny and just get rid of any hair. Like so, okay, so then moving on to actually putting the hair extension in yourself. So when you open the hair extension, it comes with these kind of little grips. Now, it's kind of hard to show you guys what i'm going to do in the next step. So basically you're going to take this and use it as kind of like teeth. If you get what i mean and you're just going to pop it at the back of your head and where the hair bubble is like so you're going to push this into the hair bubble as tight as you can, okay, so push until you physically cannot push. No more and then what you're going to do is grab this side of the hair bubble and twist it around your own hair, keeping a tight hold of the bubble like that and then you're going to take this side, which has the long strip of hair, and It is quite a tricky process when you first ever do this, so you may need practice, but then you want to take this side and wrap it around. Like so, and then you're gon na have this bit and now it's more secure, you're then gon na wrap. This piece of hair round and round the hair bubble, and what this does is this just covers any kind of like any bits of the velcro that you can see. Basically, so you want to just keep going around wrapping around wrapping around wrapping around until you have got it into a nice position and then once you have wrapped it round, you should hold on to the little end piece, and then you just want to take some Further grips and grip it in place now it's better off. If you can grip it at the back, because then the back of the ponytail will actually hide this, so you just want to keep wrapping it around, and i tend to put two or three grips in the side just to kind of keep it in place. Now you can hairspray this if you want um, but i just find it easy just to grip it in place again, just using two or three grips and yeah. That is it honestly. I freaking love that it's so easy to do and then obviously just tighten it up at the top. I love these now. They feel good. They look like my own hair and i don't think they're too dramatic either like you can get some extensions where you're literally like that does not look like my own hair. I can't get away from it. It'S not too thick to look like it's, not your hair. If that makes sense, you can just get away with it. I just think it looks really put together and they're really really good for a night out like i just think it's so quick, so easy, like. I literally did that within five minutes, for you guys, and i just think it looks absolutely incredible - it goes with my hair so well considering it is a different color, like it blends in with my other hair, really really well, and it's really easy to do as You guys saw, and it's so sleek so soft. I absolutely love this. It'S so worth it and then obviously from here, if you want, you could then add heat protectant and you could style these. However, i'm just going to keep these nice and straight and just as they are, because i just don't even think they look bad like this, like i feel like it looks really natural like this, and i just love it like so yeah. I definitely recommend these for you guys so yeah. I wouldn't recommend any other hair extensions other than loose sun or, however, you say it because, honestly they are fire and if you did like me, testing out these hair extensions and popping them in for you guys.
