Hey everyone thanks so much for tuning and Happy New Year. This is my first video of the year and, as you can see, I've got a new hairstyle, of course, um in this video I'll, be showing you how I got this hi puffy, wavy ponytail and, as you can tell this was done on my straightened hair. It'S not my usual curly hair so should be friend. I use some clip ins for this style. Of course, cuz. You know clip ins make everything more fun. So, let's get into this, I wore this style for New Year's Eve and I loved it. Okay, I feel, like I've, said this a million times, but when I go out do stuff, I sweat. So how did my hair up and in a sweat proof style is totally crucial for me, so this was a really good style lasted the whole night, even at some point I was able to like kind of throw it into like a messy bun or even that Work to that was awesome. Okay, so you're gon na need a few things. So for this tutorial for this style, I use a few hair elastics you're, going to need some big, thick ones and then a few small elastic bands, obviously a brush a boar, bristle brush or something to smooth your hair and a curling wand. If you want to help the extensions and your own hair blend together a bit better, so let's get into this video, we will have a little fun and chat along the way. So I hope you enjoy okay, bye, okay, so, as you saw, I forgot to turn on my mic, so I will give you a voiceover, so this style is easy to start. You pretty much want to create a small ponytail that will work as the anchor for the clip in so I'm creating a small ponytail towards the top of my head and I'm using a small black elastic to secure this one. Once you have your ponytail in place, you can go ahead and start applying the clip-ins, so you're going to want to start with the wefts that have the smallest amount of clips. That'S why I'm starting with the weft with two clips and you're gon na work. Your way up from there so you're starting small, because the section is narrower and then, as you move out, you can increase the amount of clips on the weft. At this point, I'm adding some more of my own hair to the ponytail so that my hair and the extension hair will blend a bit better. This isn't something I did for the New Year's Eve style, but I wish I did so that it looked a bit more realistic and the density was more consistent throughout. So I'm gon na use another small black elastic to secure this new ponytail. On top of the old ponytail, so I'm adding a few more clippings, there's, really no wrong or right amount of clippings to add. I don't even think I kept track of how much I put in my head. I just kind of went for a feel, so I put the clippings in kind of gather my hair up to see if the ponytail looked full enough if it had the right volume. If not, I would keep going if I felt like that was good. I was done now that I have all my clippings installed. I'M gon na go ahead and gather the rest of my hair into a ponytail I'm using something like a tangle teezer brush, followed by my boar bristle brush, to get my hair smooth and into that ponytail and for the actual ponytail. You really want a nice thick hair elastic. Obviously, if you use one of those small, tiny ones, it'll break and you'll be sad, so a nice thick one that I have here does the trick for the next step. You'Re gon na want to go through and curl. Your own hair and the extension here using a curling wand. I did it really quickly, but the night of when I was actually going out, I went through and did it very thoroughly making sure that everything blended much better. Once I was done, curling everything I teased the ends a little bit just to give it that messy undone like and then I wrapped a piece of the extension hair around the elastic to disguise it a bit and obviously I'm using the extension here, because it's longer Since I was going for a really undone look, I kind of just pulled some hair around to make it look, wispy and kind of like a messy ponytail rather than a super neat and sleek one. So that's what I'm doing here alright and that's it. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial for my high ponytail using clip ins. Let me know what you think and comment down below if you liked it thanks bye,

INTP Perspective: You have my EXACT (curly) hairtype. I'm so glad that I found your channel. Wondering what you consider to be your hairtype. I know we're a little beyond typing in 2020 LOL but I consider mine fine 4B-4A.
