How To: High Ponytail Using Braiding Hair (Little Trick To Get It Soft) | Marie Reine

Everyone welcome back. I hope everyone is well and safe. So today, as you guys saw in the title, I will show y'all how to get us licked up high ponytail using braiding hair, so usually when we use braiding hair for things like this. If it's not breaded, it's quite stiff, so I'm gon na show you guys how to get it nice and soft and moving just like you guys saw in the previous clips. So right now, I'm just taking out my braids. I usually bring my hair in a few big blocks, as you guys already know. I do this when my hair is not in any sort of style, so it's still protected and when I want to style it, it will be stretched out and ready to be styled. As you guys can see so right now, all I'm doing is holding my hair right up. Basically, where I want my ponytail to be personally, I, like my ponytail, quite high. So, however, you do. This part is really up to you. Now I'm gon na take some hair bubbles and hold it in place. I like to double my hair bubbles, just because it holds my hair better and just in case one breaks. At least I've got another one in there. After holding your hair up, you're gon na get some sort of bung, so you want to make sure you get that as small as possible. This is just to make sure that your hair doesn't come out to the extensions that we're gon na add later on and for me I had a different color, so I really had to make sure that I hide all of that. So now I'm gon na take my eco styler gel and apply it all over and around my hair. This is just to make sure that everything looks nice and flat and neat. Now I'm gon na go ahead and do my edges all you need for this. Is your edge control and whatever brush you use where edges after they manages, I decided to set everything with a headscarf make sure when you tie your headscarf, you leave the top part of your hair out, because we will need that out. So we can attach the ponytail. So now you want to take your extensions of using an expression in color to to be specific, and I was asking three I'm only using half of the pack, I'm then taking the half and cutting it right in the middle. So you want to make sure you use expression or something very similar in texture, because we will be using some heat on the hair and the type of musin is heat resistant, meaning it can take some sort of heat, so I'm braiding hair will just simply burn. So make sure you use expression or something very similar. So now I want to fool the end of the hair. This will make the ends uneven and look more natural, so because my hair has a little color in it. I decided to add just a little bit of color 30, but this is optional. You guys want to add any colorable. If you want to make it look a bit nice, you can go ahead and add some colors and after you fix everything up, your hair should look something like this. Now, I'm just adding a her bubble right in the middle or make sure you don't use elastic, use something strong like a hair bubble. Otherwise, it will just snap right off now: I'm gon na go ahead and blow-dry the hair, and for that you will need a blow dryer with a comb. If you don't have that, you can just use whatever blow-dryer you have with a brush. So I put the hair bubble around my wrist, so I can have more control. You can use your doorknob or get someone to hold it for you if it's easier. So when you blow dry this make sure you start with lo8. So you don't burn that hair. Don'T forget it's still something there. So now I'm gon na go ahead and attach the extensions on my hair. I took a small piece out and wrapped it around my hair and the extensions just so I can secure it, and I also use some bobby pins to secure it even more so after attach the extensions on my hair, I went ahead and blow-dry this some more. So I can get a softer after blow-drying the hair don't forget to trim the ends, thank y'all so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed it.
