For today's video I will be trying a high ponytail with a little bit of spice a little bit of pizzazz a little bit of extra nest. So first things. First, you want to make sure that your hair is freshly washed because we will be using some generous amount of products. So first things. First, I section my hair, where I'm gon na do the crisscross type of looking. You guys want to pay attention if you want to do exactly like how I do it, you want to just pay attention to the visuals of how I'm about to do that, because I am terrible at explaining these tutorials okay. So, as I said, you want to make sure you're fresh, your hair is freshly washed. I didn't use any heat at all on my hair. My hair was literally washed a couple days ago and I just had it in some do two class and I just pulled it out, I mean it could do with a little bit of detangling. You know things. Do you want to make sure that your here is detangled, but it doesn't have to be stretched with heat if you want to do that, for a super, sleek look go ahead. I do that sometimes, but I was kind of feeling a little bit lazy with this. Look so I'm, like you know what forget the blow-dry and forget all of that. You don't need to flat iron, your hair, to get it in one blue, like literally, you just need some edge control, some gel or whatever and you're good to go. So I'm just gon na show you guys how I do each section for the crisscross. If thingymajig and Hum, I think I'm gon na leave you guys just a seat as opposed to trying to explain it, because I don't want to be just rambling. Just so. Just Brown black shadow go away so I'll, be showing you guys each product that I will be using to do it, which is the shine and jam and yeah that's, basically it and some elastic. So for the elastic bands. I use the avocado oil from not club to put on my rubber band, so they don't tug on my hair and also you're, not gon na. Do the rubber bands too tight, especially when you do the when you use a shine and jam it makes your hair. So neat, you don't have to do your hair tight with the rubber bands. You just have to like loop it a couple of times but remember at the end of the day we're trying to do a protective styling. So you don't want to cause tension. You want it to look neat, yes, but you don't have to do it tight at all, because the shine and John will give you that neatness and that fresh salon of look now that the complicated part is out of the way I'm just gon na use. Some blue magic to put on my hair and for the natural hair gurus before you start. I know, blue magic is a sealant. I had leaving conditioner in my hair already, so I didn't want to put extra products, so I already have products in my hair. I'M just using the blue magic because I like how my hair feels with it in it. If you have a different method of products that you put in your hair to get it sleek, you can do that. This is just me doing my thing, so I do a little bit of brushing to make sure that my hair is smooth and then I'm going to take some water and then, as you guys saw like I put my hair in a loose ponytail just so it It stays up and then I'm going to take the shine and jump onto the damp hair and then just brush it in I'm also gon na use some of the edge booster style factor basically yeah. This is just to help need to sit down. My my hair, and also I realized that, obviously, you guys probably realized as well like when you're doing your hair. It depends on the amount of product that you put in your hair that sometimes leave the white residue and also the porosity of your hair. So I have a little prosody here, so products tend to sit on top of my hair, so I basically just try to figure out the type of combination with products that works for me. So what I realized is that that, as I am leaving conditioner the long and looks it works really well with products, so it doesn't give me such on white residue. I do get white residue the day if the day after, but it's literally nothing that I can't fix. So I literally just spray a little bit of water on my hair and then I add oil tie it back down and then I'm good to go. So sometimes white residue is inevitable for me, but just know how to navigate and to minimize it and then to get rid of the white residue. So what I did was, I did some twists on the ends of my hair, because I want to tuck my hair in so you can Platt it put it up on all of that, just to make sure that your here is tucked away, because that's the whole Point of the protective style is to keep your and the ends of your hair on the inside, so this ponytail I found in my beauty supply store and it is called instant Pony French wave, and this is 30 inches honey. If I did a little ponytail, can you imagine, and that would be like all the way under my butt, so you all already know the gist of a ponytail like it has the two combs on the inside and then the string to pull it tightly. Try to get your bun as high as possible, cuz at the end of the day, you're trying to get like a high pony. So part of this video, like I edited but after I put my hair in one, I kind of like redid it and put it a little bit higher and then to hide the drawstring. I just take some of the hair and just wrap it at the base. Initially, I was gon na leave it, as is by I'm just wrapping. You know just wrapping the hair around the base to give it that look that it's that is very popular like on Instagram and Pinterest, but I'm like. Usually they do that with the little wrap around your hair type of thing to make like that section right there smaller, but obviously is the drawstring ponytail like it wasn't gon na, be that small. So I try to be creative and I had some braiding hair from my previous videos that I have cuz. I, as I tell you guys, I keep my my my little extensions and braiding here like if they were in a style that was like not complicated, and I could pull it out and store the hair. That'S what I do so. I just had some braiding hair expression, I'm braiding hair, and I made these two braids. If you have crochet braiding, hair, perfect and then I'm just gon na take some bobby pins, pin them in and then wrap it around. So it hides it and just gives the hairstyle like a little bit of umph a little bit of extra nest. On top of the extra nest, a little bit of Posie on top of the already precise nosov it all, you feel me so yeah. That is basically it you can do your edges have. If you want to. However, you want, I was gon na leave. I decided to leave the hair, as is, but if you want to put like a little bit a more style on it. Oh, even though it's already like super bomb, you can I like hairdos, and all of that I like it. You know what girl like we're. Just gon na keep it keep it just keep it keep it classy we're just gon na keep it as is and yeah. That is the look, so you can spray some oil sheet on top of your hair, like so gives you that complete salon finish, I use some more of the avocado oil on top of the hair. Just to give me some of the last eNOS, it's been some lasting some, some some some yeah, and you know that is the look boom. That is the look now. This is the end of the video.
