So, hey guys, it's your lavish lana here with another video, as you can see, i no longer am a wiggy wonder because today i want to show you guys how i achieved this. Sleek sleep back lay laid ponytail. So if you want to see how i achieve this ponytail make sure you stay tuned, so i am starting on freshly washed blow dried and lightly flat iron hair. I'M going to go in with my paddle brush just to smooth out any kinks before we start our slick back process, i'm going to be using the edge booster today - and i just like to put this on the entire perimeter of my hair and just brush that Back with a boar's, bristle brush or any type of hard brush, because that is what slicks your hair back, so i'm just gon na brush to that edge control. In order to start my sleek look, so if you've ever done a ponytail before you know that actually tying your ponytail is the hardest process. I don't want to do it too tight, but i also don't want to do it too loose. So that's what you see me doing here is just trying to tie that as loose but tight as possible. So now i'm just going over the pieces that i missed with a little bit more edge control and using my boar bristle brush in order to smooth things over in order to have a little bit more hold. I am going to go in with the got to be glued ultra glued invisible, styling gel and i'm just gon na go over my entire head with this. To make sure that everything is nice and slick. I really find that this holds my ponytails together to where i don't get any fly aways and in order to hold that together, i'm just going to take my blow dryer and i'm gon na put it on low and i'm also gon na put it on the Cool setting and go over that to really lock in our sleek look me so i did go in and pull out my baby hairs that i want to lay later and i'm going to take that unruly looking ponytail of mine and i'm going to braid it down. So after that, i'm gon na go back in with that edge, booster edge control and i'm going to lay down my baby hairs. As you can see me doing now, i don't lay them any specific way. I kind of just like to swoop this soup and call it a day so yeah, that's what you see me doing now. Then i'm gon na go back in with my blow dryer still on that low setting and go over my whole head in order to lock in my baby hairs that way they don't move then for some extra protection. I'M gon na go in with this silk wrap and i'm going to put this on my head. While i complete the rest of my hair, so i would say i leave this on my head for about a good 15 minutes. That way, i just further lock in that sleek look, then i'm going to go in with these styling strips and i'm going to wrap them around. My ponytail and i use this as a barrier of protection between my hair and the weave glue that i'm going to be using to glue the wefts down in order to keep the ponytail secure. Because i don't want weave glue in my hair because i just feel like sometimes it pulls out hair. So that's why i'm adding this layer of protection and i used some of that got to be glue gel at the top. That'S why you see me blow drying it in order to just make sure that i keep these styling strips secure and that they don't move. These are the bundles that i'm going to be using. I originally wanted to use a 2 28 and 126, but i ended up just kneading the two 28 inch bundles, because i thought that that created a nice and full look and now it's actually time to start gluing down the tracks to our styling strips. So i just like to dab a little bit of bond glue or weave glue or whatever you want to call it as i go along, so i don't do it on every single track. So i just dab a little bit. Then i let it dry. Then i wrap it, then i dab a little bit, let it dry and then i wrap it, and this is what it looks like when i get to the top. So i'm just doing the same process, i'm just wrapping it around, adding a little bit of glue, letting it dry and then keep going. Then i'm pulling out a strip of hair from the back of the ponytail. I'M just brushing this out because i want to flat iron this, because this is the ponytail that i'm going to use to hide the wefts. So i'm just flat ironing this to make sure that it's nice and straight and then i'm going to just wrap this around. My ponytail i'm going to be using the got to be glue free spray in order to keep that in check in line make sure that it's nice and secure. So i'm just going to spray a little bit of that free spray, as i'm wrapping it around. When i wrap it around at the top going to spray a little bit more and that's what you see me just smoothing it out to keep it in place and the got to be glue spray definitely make sure that this part stays locked. It does not move and i'm just going to go through and flat iron, the rest of the hair. This is what it looks like after i'm done, and you guys that brings us to the end of the video. Definitely let me know what you guys thought about this video in the comment section below what are some tricks that you use in order to make sure you have the slickest, the slickest ponytail and the fleekiest baby hairs? Okay. So i want to hear all that from you guys make sure that you like comment subscribe all that good stuff, but i'm sure if you made it here, you have already so i will see you guys in my next video deuces.
