GWAN BIG UP UNNU SELF ! XOXO

Welcome beautiful people - i am chevy welcome back to my channel y'all for today's video we're about to do a quick tutorial on this old wash angle. Now my hair has been like this for the past four days and i'm going out and i needed a quick hairstyle. I didn't want to just do a puff. I was feeling more for a ponytail, but the time it would take to wash my entire head blow dry and do all that stuff. I was not for it so we're about to make some magic with this old wash and go so. First of all, i need some water to loosen up the curls and loosen up the hair around the perimeter of my head. So i'm going to keep spraying the water until my hair is nice and soft. Now, i'm just gon na take this little brush and brush my hair in now, y'all like there will be no detangling with this. When i say i want something, quick and easy, that's exactly what i'm gon na do with absolutely as little work as possible, so i'm just gon na keep brushing my hair up until i can get it in one. So now i'm gon na go in with this bristle brush, because at this point my hair is nice and soft, and then i'm just gon na try to gather all my hair up into one now. This will be easy too, because my hair already has product in there. It has gel in there, so i won't have to use a boatload of gel. So i'm going to take this hair tie to hold on my hair while i get it all sleek and nice. So i'm getting as tight as i can, but also i don't want a headache, so i'm not going to do it too tight. So once i get my hair in my little puff. Actually i did a little bun situation and i'm going to take this wet line. Extreme gel and just put it on top and, as i said, i won't use a lot of gel because my hair already has product in there and i'm just going to take my brush and brush that all in now. What you want to do is you want to use the exact same gel that you use in your hair for your washer and go to do this because you don't want to mix a bunch of different products together. So i use the wet line to create my wash and go so i will be using the wet line to sleep down the ponytail. Now i'm going to tie that down to leave it and let it dry a bit and then i'm going to use this um hair that i found at my beauty supply store, it's a water wave here and it's a little bit springy and it's the extra long Here i'm going to leave a link down below for you, and i also added a little bit of my old tray, um afro springy here, to give it a little bit more texture. So i mixed those two hairs, so i didn't show you the pack of hair, because you know you have a little bag or a little drawer, full of hair that you use in um, maybe a braid or something that's what i had it in. So i didn't even show you guys the pack, because i didn't have it in the pack, so i'll leave the link for that as well. So i use two different texture here to create a texture type of look, so i wanted a ponytail. I know i couldn't do a straight ponytail. I know i couldn't do something too curly. I wanted it to be a distressed, kinky type of ponytail. I wanted it to match the texture of my hair without being neat now. This will be perfect for my girls, who are not that great at creating neat braids. So this distressed look is just exactly what you might need, so i wanted it to blend with the texture of my hair to just give that nice, 4c4b type of texture look. So it doesn't have to be neat once i've plait all the way down. I put an elastic band on the end or you can just pat it until the ends are sealed. Now i flip the hair over and then i'm gon na separate the braid a bit to make it a little bit more um puffy. I don't want it to be too tight and i'm just gon na wrap a little bit of the hair at the end. To make sure that it's disguised now, i'm gon na take a little bit more of the ultra springy afro here, and i'm going to put it on this hair tie so that it can go on the base to hide my hair and the ponytail. So, where the ponytail meets my hair, because i didn't necessarily braid my hair into the ponytail, because again you know i didn't detangle it, so it wouldn't have blended that. Well, so i just have it in a little bun underneath the ponytail. So we're going to use this here to disguise it. So i'm going to put the hair tie over this braid so that the little hair that i'm using right now to wrap around is at the base and then what we're going to do. We'Re just going to keep wrapping it around until we disguise the base of the hair and that's pretty much it. It was really simple. It took me about less than 30 minutes to do this. The hair can get detailed, not detangle. The hair can get a little bit tangly when you're braiding it so just keep separating while you're braiding, and you will be fine. So at this point, instead of using got to be sprayed that i usually use at the base of my ponytail, because this is a kinky um type of hair or textured hair, the gossip spray won't hold this hair. Just like that. So it's going to um stay on its own, like so, but for the extra security i'm just going to take some bobby pins to pin it down to just make sure that um the wraparound doesn't unravel. At this point it feels super secure because of the texture. It is holding on to the ponytail, but we just add those bobby pins just to give that extra security. Now this is a combination. You didn't even know you needed, so i used a little bit of the wet line gel and some of the got to be glued from the yellow tube. It'S got to be blue gel and i just put that, on top of my hair and girl, this combo left my hair in place and also my hair wasn't crunchy. It was still soft. On top it didn't, leave any flaking. It didn't look ridiculous, like it melted right in, and i also use the got to be in the yellow tube on my edges and my edges stay in place. It is totally safe to use. It is water-based, so a little bit of water after and it's out, all you got to do is wash your hair and it's oh, it won't cause any damage to your hair, or nothing like that. So i just use a little bit of that on my edges. To get them babies slayed, you know we got to do the soup to do on the side and then i'm going to tie that down to let it dry some more. While i do my makeup and just overall to just let the hair stay in place, so we're trying to mold the hair at this point, i'm just going to take my silk scarf and tie that down for about an hour before so i could get ready now. This is how my hair is looking absolutely loving. It like i was a little bit scared of how it would look, but the texture is giving and remember. We did all this on a old wash and go that girl. What loving all the details will be in the description box down below? I hope you guys enjoyed this quick tutorial. Thank you for watching, don't forget to subscribe to the channel.
