Zala hair, zala hair extensions, halo hair, halo hair extensions, glow up, 20 something, 20 something personal finance,

Hi 20-somethings, my name is Aubrey and welcome to this channel where we make the financial most out of our 20s. Today'S video is going to be a little bit different. It'S actually going to be a product review so with this product. I do expect to completely transform into a Victoria's Secret supermodel or something better. This product is the halo hair extensions. I bought the 24 inch platinum, keratin version, so this was the cheapest way to get length, which is what I'm looking for. I'Ve always wanted. Hair extensions, but I've never really had them so before we even get to the product and just gon na talk about the ordering experience I ordered online. There was some coupon codes, so I got like $ 10 off, which is basically free shipping. My total came to 89 99 and it was like if you spend $ 90, so one cent more, I would get free shipping, but then I would tack on like a hold on the product, which is like 40 bucks. So now I'm just losing money on another product that I don't even want. I just wanted the hair extension. So that's what happened. I ordered online. I immediately received an email and I also received a text message for tracking information, so I had a text message that I could constantly check where my package was with USPS tracking services. I definitely like that about a company. It makes me feel, like my products gon na get here, and it doesn't make me feel like I got ripped off so now. This is the package. This is what it comes in. It says I'm 100 % compostable, which is great. We love that. It also says to open cut along the dotted line to reuse this bag, to send back so Zola does do returns within like 60 days or something. So if this is the wrong color or it's ugly and cheap looking, then I will be returning it. So I will cut along those dotted lines yeah, so there are a lot of different hair brands out there. So you're probably wondering why do I pick Salah? I just have friends who do salah that are sponsored and people that I follow, who do Zola. So this is a hundred percent, I'm sponsored so you'll know that okay, so it looks like I did cut a little bit wrong like this is kind of ripped out like it's supposed to be. So if I do need to return the message, I need to get some duct tape. Okay, so here's your packaging! This is my order. It'S really just a bunch of number, so doesn't really confirm that you got the right thing yet cuz. I don't know what those numbers mean. Okay, saying right now, already it's saying a hundred percent human remy hair, which I actually thought I got fake hair. I thought I got the keratin hair, so maybe that's real hair. It was just cheaper and it does look pretty platinum and then it has all your instructions: Oh shoo, okay, so we get a little travel-size. This is our vibe. So far you get a little travel-size situation and then there's the hair, which is what we care about. Okay, so you get hair extension, shampoo and conditioner a hair extension mask. I guess it's the stuff. You would use on the hair that you just purchase. Oh she loved. So we have this premium halo, Pro keratin hair. I went ahead and just curled my hair. I didn't know if these would be styled or on style looks like they're, not styled. It looks so pretty okay, so this is saying that you can't break the seal. If you want to return it so say it's like and you're you're trying to match your hair um. I guess you have to match now, because once you break the seal, it says and now returns. So that's good to know. What do you guys think does this even match? I need help, it's definitely the length I wanted and it feels like really nice. I'M actually kind of surprised that I, like the texture, that's a pretty surprising. So I don't know if this matches - and you know like get a brush and brush my hair with it. I don't know what I was thinking with that I don't know it's just a light color. This was the lightest color they had and my hair is pretty light. But honestly it's not looking that light right now I don't know I'm not positive. Also on the back is, I guess, your halo. These are the clips and you would clip it along all the hair to make your halo, which I didn't know also. I thought that it would come as a halo. So let me unpackage this and let you guys know in a second okay, so I'm trying to figure out how this works right now, so that I can set it up and inside the box. It has clip in tape in ponytail, but it doesn't have one for Halo, so I actually don't know how to set it up. It'S just kind of not cute okay. So all that drama for no reason I unpackaged it and it does have the halo and it has these little clips, and now you can kind of see what it looks like now. I'M just gon na put it on and style it. I don't think this matches like this is kind of yellow, maybe if I turn it so this is what I've seen people do online. You basically just make a ponytail along your crown, like so dude. I literally look like I'm trying to be like. I don't think I like this, so I'm gon na keep giving it a shot. I'Ve seen people where they like kind of brush over where the extension is covering, so that they can kind of hide the little halo line. This is not a look so far, but we're gon na keep trying so far. I'M not excited, but we don't know yet updates. We put it in, didn't really like it. It doesn't really match my hair color. So now my mom is trying to tighten it upstairs, and I've also decided we're going to try putting it higher, I'm also gon na curl it so far it's a flop, but stick around to see if this ship turns around stop looking at us. Maybe we won't be going waterskiing today right now, I'm saying save your dollars all right, guys, I'm back. So this is what it looks like. It honestly looks so awful and it doesn't feel like hair at all. It looks like yellow Barbie hair. It kind of feels like Barbie hair it I tried to curl it and it doesn't hold a curl at all. Overall, it really just looks like I think it's really hideous yeah I mean I really do think it's pretty awful. I'M hoping I can get a refund and I highly do not recommend this, but it really does just look awful like the one length of it all. I guess if you were gon na, do it was all a hair, maybe try the clip-ins, because then you can kind of layer them and stuff but flop, it's so ugly. Ah full this is so awful. Okay, I've taken it off and now you can see my hair is back to its a short little length. This is the hair again, and you know on a pitch initial. I was like this is a lot softer than I thought it was. It'S actually not like. I tried to brush it and it's the literally dull hair it feels awful after trying to brush it. I really think this is like the bane of the earth and I'm really disappointed cuz. I was really excited about this and I thought I was gon na look. So cute, but apparently, if you want extensions, it's gon na be expensive and going the cheap route is not worth it which to me, then extensions themselves aren't worth it because I'm not spending by pretty cooling on stuff dangling off my head, alright guys. That is it for today's video. I'M sorry that this review is kind of so negative. If you were trying to get these hair extensions and you're kind of like looking for a glimmer of hope, and then you came to this video sorry, I honestly wish I would have found a nun sponsored video like this before and then I wouldn't have wasted my Time and money, because now I think I'm gon na have to pay for a return. Shipping which is gon na, be like 10 bucks, which is hella anoying and yeah such a bad experience. Sorry, sorry, thank you guys so much for watching. This was a little bit of a different kind of video. Let me know if you liked it unhhhh sponsored and completely honest Zala, don't come for me. I don't make any money umm yeah! Thank you guys for watching bye, twenty-somethings. Alright, let me know in the comments below what you think I love you guys so much bye.

Joua Nelson: Thank you for your honest review! This helped me tremendously!

Here Comes the Light: This was so entertaining I don't think I've laughed so much in ages. You should do more videos like this.

lmj: I got a halo extension from Zala and I absolutely loved it. I think its different for everyone. I had a good experience and got so many compliments. I had layers in my hair , put curls in it, got the 16 inch so it matches well with my actual hair length and it blended really well. Don't knock it till you try it!

ash: I wore them for my wedding and my hair was paper straight right after we curled them. I also wanted to mention that they tangle horribly. It's 99.9% synthetic and 0.1% human hair.

Christina Hurley: Make sure to wash the extensions first. They have a serum on them to keep them silky straight. Once washed and dried, you can curl them

Cindy Staker: Good to know !!! Thank you for the honest review.

Roxanne: ive tried zala twice in the past- dropping over $300 each time and i have always tried working with the company to get a color match. even asking for color match swatch sample ring. every time i get a terrible color match

Chelsea Enlow: What a disaster! Def won’t purchase those. Thanks for the honest review!

madison mastroianni: definitley reccommend the zala human hair halo extensions. they are amazing! i love mine

NitroAgogo Signature Designs: thanks babe i wont be placing my order. i appreciate your review. prob better for us to get extensions in a salon. mail orders have never worked for me.

Sarah Sawyer: Thank you so much for making me laugh out loud, you were hilarious! OK, perhaps back to the drawing board for me

Natalie Hayes: Thank you for this review and for saving me money.

LillyLake: Iv been using them for 2 years and I’ve noticed that the quality has gone right down, before I had a human hair halo that lasted ages, Iv recently bought one and it went down hill after two washes. Bought another because I thought maybe it was a bad batch and that is now useless! They also don’t have a U.K. base anymore so the shipment on top of two hair pieces is a lot. I’m gutted to be honest because I really love the halo champagne blonde. I’m looking to order from Ireland now as I found a really good halo company. Just got to gain some confidence back before I do a new purchase. Have they have changed their supplier ( which on my invoice it states China now ) not sure who made them before. But they’ve definitely changed something!

Dasha Petrov 💋: Your hair is beautiful!! Color and everything about it.

Angelica Sotelo: I love your personality and think your so cute! I first bought the Zala synthetic and it was horrible also but then i decided to buy the human hair ones and it was way better lol but again i have dark black hair so finding my exact color match was easier for me compared to you with blonde hair. But i would give them one last try but make sure you buy the human hair for sure if you decide to get zala again

Patricia Bell: ZALA does have great Hair Extensions at reasonable prices as long as you get the 100% REMY Human Hair and Not the Keratin Fake Hair. I thought about buying the HALO but after seeing your video I’ll stick to the Seamless Clip Extensions.

Catherine Mobbs: Giiirl! This is not me coming for you. But you didn't do any part of this correctly lol It might have turned out quite a bit better had you done a little bit more research on proper care for extensions. If you're going to go cheaper, you are going to have to put in more work. Extensions usually need to be toned. That's why I wouldn't opt for keratin unless you're sure it will match your hair. It's easier to match your extensions to your hair than it is your hair to your extensions. But with keratin you'll have to match your hair to the extension. On top of that, your extensions needed to be washed and prepped. Even more so, the first time you put it way too low, the second time you put it way too high lmao and lastly, you're going to have to cut/blend/style the extensions to make them look more natural. That's just part of it. Paying more money for extensions like Bellami reduces how much work you'll have to do on your own. They come in a wider variety of shade range and are already pre-cut/blended on the ends. Not only did you go with a cheaper brand, but you went with a cheaper material as well. The money hack here would be to opt for the cheaper brand in a shorter length with human hair. It may not be as cheap as you'd like it to be, but it's way more cost effective.

Angelnumber0723: Refreshing review. Sponsored videos are so annoying. Like they get those extensions for free and not the cheaper version..like expensive bundles , sometimes more than one. They usually receive talking points...the whole idea is to sell the product. I bought a set and I am hoping when they arrive I will be happy to wear them. I didn't get the keratin ones because I read a lot of negative reviews about it. Honestly if the quality is so poor why are they even selling it. I can not imagine the scenario where someone is excited to receive dry tangled Barbie hair that cant hold a curl. This review is the real life experience someone had the first time they ever purchase extensions ..you can do your research but you get pretty hypnotized by all the sponsored or those hoping to become sponsored. You really have to dig deep to see the reality. i wonder if you had no luck getting a refund. The reviews say this company is notoriously difficult to work with even if you didn't break the seal. My extensions are coming next week and i have high hopes. I did buy the lace weft 26 inch human hair...so hopefully i am pleased. But based on most of the complaints i have read online, i better keep my fingers crossed.

Krystina Rossi: The golden rule with clip in hair extensions - don’t buy extensions that are more then 6 inches longer than your natural hair. If you do want extensions more then 6inches longer then your natural hair, be prepared to buy at least 200 grams of hair (thick 9 piece clip in set). Halos or clip in extensions that are only around 100 grams do not have enough hair to blend such a drastic difference in length. They are good for adding volume and subtle length. Next time try 18-20inch. Also - many “platinum” extensions are Barbie yellow. It is a true level 10 but it’s just not toned. To tone them, just coat them in purple conditioner for 10mins. All the yellow will be gone and it would be much closer match to your hair color.

NY B: Omg this video was awesome and hilarious

Ewa Adela Milopolska: I love zala. But i always wash them because they are too soft at the begining and then they fit much better

Maddison Eclair: Wow thanks for posting this. I have to see if I can cancel and orderrrr!

Snez Talevska: Thanks i was tempted to get one after looking all sponsored videos. Yous is great thanks heaps

womanwithtoolbelt: Oh honey you didn’t even give it a chance. You have to wash and dry them, then curl it. I would always do real human hair

Emily Serena: “I need help from my mother” Honestly same

Debbie Penorpencil: It may have helped if you had straightened your hair? I have the 9piece clip ins. Had to take them in to get toned and blended with layers. They are fabulous, I feel like Rupuntzel. Compliments all day! I want to get the pony next.

Ashlee Pinske: Why would you curl your hair then and then put in a straight hair extension and expect it to blend ? Lmao also 24 inches is to long for your hair unless you bring it into the hair salon and get it blended professionally, it’s just simple hair extension 101.

Rachel Bauman: Once you wash them they double in size, plus using a purple shampoo on them would help to match your hair

The Granola Minimalist: Lol! Thanks for your review!!

Bridgetta Winchester: Things like this are why I take people who say “my extensions sucked” with a grain of salt. Some people just don’t know what they’re doing

Aleza: Your added comics were adorbs ! You are the cutest

princessqcumber: This had me dyinbgggggg when u said you turned around I can’t “it’s looks like sh*t” I’m crying

Chloe Smith: one wash with purple shampoo and itll match perfect!

Aneisha Chantelle: I think it feels like doll hair because it’s keratin and not human hair.. yikes

Wonderful Misery: 1. Bought Keratin instead of human hair 2. Got the wrong shade of hair (could of just mailed the extensions back) 3. Expexted staright extensions to blend on curled styled hair 4. Got extensions that are way too long to blend - halo pieces do not give layers. Then gives Zala a bad review.

Mikaylas World: I got mine and I love them !

K. P.: This IS NOT ZALA'S FAULT. GIRL you have thick curled hair. You need to get the human hair that si 220g AT LEAST. I GOT ZALA HAIR AND IT WAS PERFECT and I have THICK hair. you got 1 row of hair what did you expect?

Patricia Zitro: Damn wish I saw this before putting in my order

Ocean Zenn Fam xo: I'm not happy with the Halo I have washed them once and were absolutely knotted, mine were human hair so I'm so confused on what happend I'm not happy

Lene Hammero: Step 1: buy one only 1-4 inches difference from your actual length. Dont try to make xtra long work with short hair. Step 2: style the extensions to work, dont just take em straight out the box lol? Step 3: apply the halo correctly. My zalas have all been excellent, i think the problem is you arent familiar or accustomed to the type of product you got. You should research proper application and information before setting out a review.

Girly vids By Ali: so weird I got the same extensions as her and mine are soooo thick and feel amazing and their the halo too I spent my own money on zala and had nothing but the best blonde extensions super thick and real hair and they curl so easily and have even more volume when curled and my hair looks extremely thick even when straight

Sean Richerson: Save ya dollas

Pollyvianne Schmidt: Ye I did not like the halo hair from ZALA too I hated it.

ayysha: did you end up getting a refund?

Brooke Hunter: I got the keratin ones, and oh my, they’re GOD AWFUL, straight up barbie doll hair, sooo I ordered the real hair, maybe it’s better. Idk these keratin ones are just a waste of money

Louise 4978: Fake hair is nothing compared to spending abit more on the real stuff. Your hair is already beautifully thick so yeah you would prob need some clips too and defo real human hairbor some people use two halos but I wouldn't bother if I had hair like you anyway ‍♀️

Carly Martin: Lol NO OFFENCE at all, but what you needed was the shorter human hair halo. 24 inch is just way too long compared to your natural hair that it won’t blend without some trimming and curling…. And the curling is a struggle if it isn’t human hair. I would totally recommend going for a 16-20 inch human hair halo. This was entertaining though, and I’m sorry it didn’t work out!

Amberielle T: Was this the keratin one?

Ashley: Yeah girl sorry but this wasn't a real flop because you didn't do the research before hand to take care of the extensions, put them in correctly, etc.

Crystal Spencer: Girl … no this is not their fault you didn’t do any of it right

Apple Syrup: Give it to me

_bluenosesisters: Your hair is too think for those types of hair extensions...

20 Something: For anyone watching this video today: I am running a giveaway till December 13th for a $50 Amazon gift card! Checkout my channel to learn more now!

Alexa Kelley: Here's a real review for those of you actually wanting to try ZALA hair extensions. I legit never comment on shit but this was too ridiculous to pass up. First off, what did you expect buying the fake hair? Of course it's gonna be shitty, it's literal barbie hair. You have to buy the human hair for it to be worth anything. Secondly, duh it looked like shit, you have to blend the hair to your own. Ain't gonna fault you on color because that's hard to do on a computer or phone screen but you have to cut the extensions to blend in with your hair, you can't just put a layer of long ass hair in and expect it to blend perfectly. There's just a huge disconnect from your 16 inch hair to that 24 inch hair. You could look at tutorials online of how to cut layers into your hair if you're trying to save money, but if you can't do that yourself or don't want to possibly ruin your extensions, you can take it to a stylist. You also may need two of the halo's because it looks like that barbie hair is pretty thin. The real hair is actually super thick and I cut layers into mine for a seamless blend. It may be a bit expensive but it's so worth it if you really want extensions. ZALA is definitely worth it for the real stuff.

Reese: Ok first of all, you got the wrong color, that is your fault you are obviously a champagne blonde. Second of all you can’t expect keratin to feel amazing, it’s really cheap not real hair. If you didn’t do your research that’s your problem. And obviously it’s not gonna blend when the extensions are straight and the color is off. Don’t tell people not to buy this hair when all of these were your problems.

taylor armenta: how tall are you ?

Arkham Ellie: The one you got isn’t fully human hair, that’s why you can’t curl them or tone them. If you try they turn ratty. That’s why they are cheaper. If you want good hair extensions you have to spend the dollars. And get the human hair zala extensions! Those ones are definitely worth your money

T C: Trust me..... you will never be a Victoria’s Secret model
