Hello beautiful people! So here is a video allllll about my kinky twists from where and who I got the hair from to how i keep the twists protected, moisturized, and looking good! so I hope you guys enjoy and don't forget to hit that subscribe button!

I am not sure of the exact length of the hair. However, Walter only sells this hair in two different lengths the shorter one and the longer one (if you want the hair longer than this than you will have to put in a special order which might be more costly) and I asked for the longer one and that is what I used for the bottom portion of my hair and then I used the shorter hair that my sister still had for the top portion. This will create the layered effect you see in the video.

Their style is unique because it was done with human kinky, hair versus synthetic kinky hair, which changes the whole like overall look of the twists in general. Now human kinky hair is a little pricey um. It'S definitely not cheap. The guy that I bought it from he has a store in Brooklyn on Flatbush Avenue and his name is Walter, he's actually like a little good other Mexican guy, which is kinda? Why I find it so funny, but I think it's. What is this like, this little Mexican guy selling, all this like hair? Oh, it's so weird at an altar - is the home skillet for hooking, my hair up, because he has all the natural hair, but I even have his card with me. Actually cuz. I'M too shy guys three though so you can see his phone number and the address right here. He sells his hair by the out, so I have about four or five ounces of human kinky hair in my hair right now, and he sells it for about. I think thirty to thirty five dollars, an ounce so yeah, all you math genius is up there. You can do the math and it's not that cheap um. However, here's the bright side, the bright side to that is that this hair - you could have for years and take it out and put it back in and it will look brand new you once you buy the hair, you don't have to buy any more hair at All so, it's kind of like an investment for yourself for your hair and my older sister, who actually had they had hair both had the you make a year since, like oh eight, so I didn't really need to buy like a whole bunch of ounces. But I for length says I wanted it longer and here that she had was shorter. Um, I had to you know, buy that for the bottom part of my hair, as you can see, the bottom is longer and the top part is a lot shorter and I don't mind that just because it kind of gives more of a natural look, you know It just looks like you have like this layered effect you see, so I kind of been like that because I feel like you know it just looks a lot more realistic. Now it's the hairstylist that actually did my hair big up to one okay now seriously. Tawana is a girl. She definitely took my hair up. She seriously. I need to stop saying um, I'm going to stop promise. Tawana uh, definitely hooked. My hair up she's been doing my older sister's hair for a good couple of years. Now, up until she got, you know she decided to get to two walks, but whatever so she is doing my sister's hair and that's how I found out about Tawana and I decided to go to her and she took my hair up and I loved it as You can see she starts off the hair with a braid. I don't know if you guys can tell on camera, but she starts off the hair with a braid, so she braids the hair. Probably about like I was I like a good three inches. Maybe three four inches or five inches and then she starts to two strand twist. It all the way down and while she's to Sharon twisting my hair she's, also picking up some gel now the jela she used. I don't really remember what the brand was. I know it wasn't eco styler gel, but I guess it really doesn't really matter but yeah. She was using gel as she was twisting down my hair. That kind of made the curls for more and you know, give it some hold for a while and yeah. That'S basically all she did honestly. She did my whole head about like three or four hours you now. This is hair, like I said some like that, my sister Barton, like oh eight, so you can see that looks really natural and it's pretty much still intact, and this is I even the washed hair now when to why. I did my hair what she did with the old hair for my sister. She just lightly washed. It you know didn't do like didn't lather it up too much, but she just like me, washed it and just started to install it. Just like that. Like one two three and the hair looks like the day you just bought it. I'M gon na head over and basically show you guys how I protect my hair and night and also how I keep it moisturized and keeping looking it so fabulous and fresh every single day um. It'S really not much to it very simple and easy, but I figure you know since I'm talking about the hair, I might as well show you guys how I maintain it right. The upkeep right. That'S what you really want to see right. You will see sitting here. Blabla right, oh maybe you do maybe cuz you just love the way. I talk the next day and I'm ready to take off her scarf and show you the results of the eco styler gel, and you know, basically all the preparation I did last night for today and how that you know basically worked out um and, like I said This is how I keep my hair protected, and this is how I keep my hair from getting really frizzy actually before taking my scarf. I'M just want to show you if you can see my roots going to show you. This is all my new growth like all this, you don't notice, you'll see any braids right, like you still don't see braids until you get to like this part of my hair. So basically, all of this right here is new growth. That much your hair is new growth, so I'm kind of stoked, I'm kind of anxious to take it out and see how much my hair has like thrived and grown and definitely talking my take off my scarf and I'm going to show you basically how flat my Hair is I look great, you don't got to tell me because I already met so you see how flat the hair is right and that's what you want, like obviously you're not going to walk on the house like this, but you want whatever frizz would have been There you want it to be flattened out, so it really kind of just blends in with the hair, the extensions or whatever. Also the eco styler gel, really doesn't let your hair get hard, which is why I choose to use equal size out. You might go for a gel that won't make your hair hard, because you don't want your twists to be hard and like stiff and look like really disgusting and also the oil that I put in before I put the gel in or really helps to keep the Hair soft and also moisturize, I'm going to shake my hair, so it can loosen up the roots right, and so you can see at the roots. It'S really like really flattened out and really straight and it's you can't even tell the frizz and I'm telling you guys my hair I've seen I've seen this hair get really frizzy before and I was just like wait. I haven't had it in for a month yet, like I can't work like this, but then I like you know, came up with a way to conquer that, and this is what you know. The results is - and I think it's really cool and I think also you can do this technique on any kind of like braids twist or whatever, if you're having that frizzing problem so yeah and now what I do is I kind of just spritz some more water In it, but I don't spritz water on the root, because you don't want that to frizz. My hair is curly, it will frizz up and it will defeat the whole purpose of what we did last night or what I did wasn't it. So I'm just taking the same spray ball ID I have last night and I'm just going to spritz my hair and, like I said, I'm not spritzing the top part. You only want to spritz the end and the reason why I'm is pretty spritzing the end. It just kind of refreshes the ends of the hair and also you know, since you had the scarf on the scarf kind of leaves an indentation. So now, as you can see, it looks a lot better and that's really all to it. I don't do much to it like I said I don't really style it that much, I kind of just either put it to the side or I just pain like one like part of the side up like that. I really don't do much to it. I don't really - or I like prettier ponytail, but I don't do anything like really extravagant with it, because they are pretty thick and I've tried to do something like a real style and I just required too much. Hair pins and the hair pins were so uncomfortable. So I was just like - and I rather not I'm gon na go put on the makeup and I'll be right back and to show you the full results. He sells 14 inch for 40/ounce and 20 inch for 60/ounce. It's super expensive but I purchased it and it came in 1 and a half days! He was very helpful and send me picks. I got dark auburn and 1b. Anaria Ryan-Finley: Thank you Nicole Johnson. I didn't want the hair installed not fresh. I ordered 14 inches and not sure if it is long enough to twist without it being too short. I don't want it as long as Finesse but I do want the style. My stylist will be looking to see exactly how I want it done this Friday. I saw videos on how to install Braiding it as Finesse 's and other videos show the strand folded in half and twisted from the root. I'm concerned the latter video I mentioned he hair length may be too short. I will wait to show it to this new hair stylist who are Africans expert in all types of atyles.

I am from Jersey and I would never think of driving to Brooklyn to buy hair. . I spoke to a lady who was extremely helpful. Shelly C: Yes, I have to agree with everyone here -- Thank you for sharing this video and Walter's number. I searched all over the 'net looking for a way to do this hairdo cheaper. There's no way. I went to the address on Flatbush Ave and Walter is no longer there. It's a Dominican hair salon but they do still have connection to Walter. One of the stylists in the salon dialed his number and I was able to link up with who I assume is Walter's wife that same afternoon. I purchased 5 oz of kinky hair and had it installed today. I love it! It's so light, curly and cute for the summer.

And I want to graduate to human hair cause I believe the synthetic hair might be stunting my growth a bit. I'm definately going to call that guy in flatbush cause I want natural hair twists like yours but I couldn't tell from the video is your hair was twisted all the way down to the end of each twist or some of the hair is left out?

I'd like to make the most cost-effective purchase I can, and honestly buying a 20in bundle at $60 a zip would have me paying around $420 for 7, which I think is a lot. I bought some seriously Afro kinky (4c) human hair on Amazon (12oz for $270) and have high hopes for it but it's 16in and I know the tremendous shrinkage my own 4c hair... uh... enjoys.
