17 Easy Box Braid Hairstyles! | + Quick Refresh Tip For Old Braids | @Theheartsandcake90

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it is brittany. So in today's video i am going to be doing 10 easy um hairstyles. With my box braids i have traditional box braids. I don't have knotless braids. I actually prefer traditional box braids over knotless braids and i have had knotless braids twice before and i've come to the conclusion. I like the traditional not and everything on my braids, so i've had these over a month and they were looking. You know pretty bad, but i did a refresh on them. A very easy refresh. That'S not going to take your edges out. It'S very temporary! It'S only going to last probably a day and then it's going to revert back to what it was looking like this morning. So if you want to know how i refresh my roots on my wig, i do have a video from 2020 that you guys can watch i'll link that on the info card. But i also um recorded myself doing that. So i could post it on instagram and tick tock, so i clean my scalp um with sea breeze with like a washcloth and i put sea breeze on it and i clean my scalp and then i use water, a mixture of water and the myo rosemary mint Oil in a bottle - and i sprayed it on my scalp and on like my actual hair in the braids up top, and then i went section by section with my style factor edge booster here and i i parted out the space, because you couldn't even really see My boxes anymore, so i parted out my space with a rat tail comb. I put some edge control around the box and i kind of smoothed it back into the base of the braid, and then i twisted it a few times and then kind of tucked it back um and i used some clips to kind of hold it in place. Just so you know it wouldn't unravel. I have seen people do the interlocking method where they basically like crochet the braid within itself and then kind of twist up the root it works, but i don't know how people get it out of that. I feel like you're. Actually, locking your hair when you do that this is a temporary fix, so i'm taking these out in a few days, but i wanted to show you guys some easy styles that i do with my box braids. So um, that's what i have. I have some head wraps here. This um is the head wrap, i'm gon na use throughout this video. This is a cotton stretch head head, wrap that i got from amazon. It comes in a pack of nine with a variety of colors. I wanted to use brown today. Have i can't find my black one? I love to use a black, but i can't find my black one, but i love these because they're stretchy i have some head wraps that are a little bit too stiff with the fabric that they have. This is nice and stretchy um, and i also have some pre-tied head wraps. One from you go natural yeah, so i'll link them below and i'll have like the the set of the ones that i got from amazon, because i really like those - and i wear those a lot - i'm just not gon na talk, i'm just gon na.
