The 2 Step Bun. It'S Easy And Fun.

I can rhyme AND do some hair. Find details about this style here: http://wp.me/p4AqMS-4ch

I'Ve been wearing my hair, I'm repeating this low bun and today I'm going to show you how to do it in my head. I call it the 2-step bun, because it really is two simple sets. It will help immensely if you have a little bit of bend to your hair. It doesn't have to be perfect. The curl you'll need one clear, elastic and a bobby pin. If your hair, particularly fix, is too clear. Elastics you may need a couple more bobby pins. Do so pull your hair into a low ponytail and only pull it halfway through, so it's not a normal ponytail and as more of a bun. I always like to twist around to look in the mirror and listen everything out before I keep going. I just like kind of softer, looser hair, and this is a good way to make it a slightly dressier. If you want a more casual, you can keep it back little tighter, but this makes it look just a little bit more fancy in my mind, then grab one section of hair as if you were pulling it through, like a traditional ponytail and you'll wrap this right Around the clear elastic, if it feels like it's loose, just use a bobby pin to hold it in place and that's how you'll secure it in the end, and that is it stretch it out. If you need to and there you have it, the low moves fun. Wrapping that piece of hair around the clear elastic that you first put in is the quickest way to make a low bun, like that looks a little bit more sophisticated and just a little bit fresher than seeing the clear elastic in the hair.

Maddy Abney: am i the only one who looks like a founding father when they try this

Kath Youell: I tried it while I watched the video with the elastic I already had in my hair (in a ponytail). It worked! I have hair that's longer than yours and has long layers so usually pulling it halfway thru makes it look like a funky loop that falls out easily. Maybe that's because my hair is so fine, but there's a lot of it and it has a lot of natural body and loose curl. Anyway, I tried it just after lunch, put a cap on and off a couple times while bike riding/grocery shopping, made dinner, took the kids to the park, did the dishes, AND THEN remembered it was still in this bun when I was brushing my teeth! That's a style that really stayed! I didn't need a bobby pin, but since my elastic was bigger I wrapped it around the bun an extra time. I'm crazy impressed that I finally managed to do one of your hairstyles! (Its me, not you.) Woot!

jackstar1107: Have you tried Unite's Liquid Dust? It's a liquid version of those wonderful gritty hair powders. I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on it/see it demoed. I think KMS makes one, too. Probably other brands, for that matter.

MissPrissTiff1: Any options for shorter hair. I always want to do a messy bun but my hair is shorter and I don't have a lot to work with.
