What'S up, everyone welcome to my channel and Sabrina Murray or Murray Jay here on YouTube, and today I'm going to be showing you guys how to get this top knot hairstyle. This is a hairstyle that I like to wear around this time of the year, because I don't know about you guys. I don't like having my hair all on my neck when it's super hot I just feel like it makes me feel even worse. So this is my go-to. You guys also be able to see about how long my natural hair is and it's about shoulder length. So this is something that can be done with shoulder length hair. As long as you have a bunch of hairspray and a couple of bobby pins, you should be good to go so I'm starting off with completely messy dry hair. In order to be able to tame this thing down, I have to spray it with water spritz. It everywhere all over the place, so your hair is so Q can also shower before you do this. If you want, then I'm just detangling all of my hair with a paddle brush see this is the slick side, and this is the crazy side and then I'm just doing the same thing to the other side. Then you can either use a mousse or gel whichever one you prefer. I like mousse, and I get a bunch of it and I put it everywhere throughout my hair in order to get my bun as high as I want it. I have to tilt my head forward and brush my hair to where I want my bun to be it's the only way I can get it where I want it, and then I tilt my head back up brush it a little bit more, throw some hairspray on There and then I grab two headbands and wrap my hair in a ponytail with the headbands twice to get the top. Not part of this. I grab the ends of my hair twist them around the way I describe it is wrapping the hair around itself and then I just put another hair band over it. Then you can adjust to, however thin, however high you want it to be. If you have short hair like me, you might have to add bobby pins underneath it to keep your little hairs under there up. Then I'm adding more hairspray, because I don't want my hair to move throughout the day and then I'm using a Pantene sculpting wax to tame my baby hairs. So that's how I got my topknot bun.
