I got this last time I placed an order to Ulta and I'm really excited to keep trying it out! With my shorter hair- getting cute hairstyles can be a challenge, and most aren't very fast mom friendly. I was really excited to see this on the Ulta website and it's been sitting in my drawer just waiting to get into for this video! I'll keep playing with it for the month as always and let you know final thoughts in my next month's haul update.

Here's a link to the one that I got- they do have different sizes but I did get the small- https://www.ulta.com/small-brown-bun-s...

If you're not already subscribed, I hope you do. And don't forget to hit the notification bell so you don't miss out on any upcoming videos. I do upload every Tuesday thru Friday!!

For reference I do have dry aging skin. I have wrinkles, crinkles, and age spots. My eyes are slightly hooded and are very dry and textured, though my crease is very oily and separates shadows all the time without primer. I also have allergies that cause eye puffiness and bags with discoloration. Some common shades of foundation that I use are L'Oreal Fresh Wear 420, Revlon Candid 120, Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation 0.5-1, Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir 710, shades all when I am not tanning- I will update the list as I get new foundations or end up tanning.

Hi everyone welcome to my channel. My name is Kelly. A very hippy day out there to everybody watching today, I'm gon na do something hair related. I grabbed this from Ulta. My last order um. I can't tell you what it is because I got gifts, but it's the kitchen pro a small bun shaper right here. You can do a French twist in a topknot. I have short hair, but I thought we'd give it a try. There'S this is the small one. Did I say that, but anyways they have in different ways if you're excited to go ahead, stay tuned, we're gon na play. What'S up my hair, if you are new here, I absolutely love it that you clicked on my video. If you wouldn't mind smashing the like button share with your friends and don't forget to subscribe, so you don't miss out on any future fun uh but yeah like I was saying I ordered this on a whim. I don't I'm I was. I was ordering this, so I can't tell you but anyways some things that I do have in front of me. I have some clear little elastics, I have a regular bobby bobby pins and then I also have the mini ones and like a bunch of barrettes, because I have short hair and you never know, Barnett's can make or break something, and sometimes it just kind of takes To the the next level, I don't have anything done with my hair kind of have loungy my clothes on, because I got this mainly to see if I could fast mom here, like best mom, do my hair that make sense. I'M my mom before I'm highly caffeinated got ta, get that coffee in, but on the back here it does show you how you could do this um she's got really long hair we'll see. Maybe I could do half up with this, which I mean will kind of help. I don't have anything in my hair. This is air, dried um, so I took a shower and I did like mom chores and now here we are filming this fun here, cool thing it does see on here: um. There are some tips and tricks, but you can also a set wet hair before bed to wake up with voluminous waves uh. I might have to try that okay, the prices I mean that on here this is only six dollars. So it's it's foamy. I did get brown, I believe they had like blonde there's a wire in there. You know I had one of these when I was in was it GRI yeah? I was injured. I only it was like a foot long and it was like hot pink, like neon. Pink and I tied it in my hair, like everybody, did anybody else have those um, so you put your hair through here and we just kind of twist, so I'm gon na try the French twist first, because I won't keep my hair like that. I'M more interested in the bun doesn't look like she is pulling her hair back in a ponytail at all um, so we're gon na try it the French try so close to even showing up oh okay, um, I'm also not using I'm just using my fingers again. I'M trying to make this so it's fast hair think I'm going to try parting down the middle, maybe um. My hairstylist gave me the cutest haircut and it actually is kind of cute like party down the middle, I'm Rob what's kind of weird um anyways, so we pull it out and then twist. Let'S am I gon na be able to do this. Okay, I'm gon na twist all the way around it's gon na be kind of eques, because I'm gon na be talking to the wall uh and we'll turn it off turn it up um in editing. But here we go. Okay, I'm gon na first try this with out any bobby pins and I'm just gon na squeeze my hair through here like this and try to hold it and we're losing stuff. So that's probably as far as I'm gon na get I'm gon na start. Turning in like that, I mean what did she do she? Okay, any pins, so she twisted it like so and then hold these in and bobby pin those in like that see this see if we can squish that in there sure we can okay, so let's squished in pretty good, so I'm going to take a bobby pin And then start pinning the hair, hopefully around yeah, just taking, because my hair is up. Quite short, I mean compared to other people, I'm taking from the top here and then pushing it over top of the last my bouncing over top of the bun, how you know tight, but that way it's gon na hide the brown thing you could leaves us, although I'M going to you just err on the safe side just go in and around bobby-pins tucked in so only a little bit fell. Actually, I'm kind of surprised, let's see yeah I mean it feels really really secure in my hair I don't feel like it's coming out. Although these bobby pins are not locked in, you know, what's gon na happen, okay, so I'm just taking a second bobby, pin and locking all of those in okay. I have all of these a pinned locked in here, and I think what I'm gon na do just with this is I'm just gon na pin it up into like the crease here, just kind of give it a little twirl with the other ones just to be On the safe side, taking let's take it on right here and locking that one in as well. This is actually really you're really cute and I'm kind of excited. I mean it, you can pull a little bit down here, make it a little undone and it just kind of go about your day. I'M so excited about this. I love that it's linked lose right here. It doesn't feel super tight. Actually, when I wear a hairband, it actually is tighter um, and this took me no time actually, probably it will take me a less time not talking and now that I've got the feel of it and in any certain time today, anyway, anyways anyways anyways. Well, I I really really like this look. I will do this, I'm probably just on an everyday kind of thing. I wouldn't, but you could absolutely dress this up. Put some. I don't have any in front of me, but you could do a put like some rhinestone right there and make it a really really beautiful updo. I have short hair and it's all up and I'm so excited okay. So I'm gon na take this down and we're gon na try the bun, okay, it definitely is stretched or stretch or bent back really. Really it may see rate kinda just how it was so. I'M excited, I will say, like it, doesn't Bend like this way. It just goes like you can see it that way. Okay, so for the fun part, it does show to put it in a ponytail first and my hair. If I do that, we have like a ponytail, so actually what I'm gon na do, I think, is like a half up, ponytail and I'll. Show you how I wear a couple times. Um I've had like a messy bun on top of my head, my hair. Obviously, the like it doesn't even go into a ponytail up here, but I'll show you how I do that, so we're gon na incorporate a braid into it. So, basically, how I do that is I attempt to get as much hair up as I can into a pony, of course, if you've got longer here, but I also don't like it too, messy or too like tight um anyways, I'm just going in with one of These dat, clear, elastics tons of it fault, fell down and that's okay, like I said we will just braid it, but this is Taylor's I can get and I still have a whole mess of hair. Don'T so we'll deal with that he's tucking in this. So this one kind of the same thing: it you roll your roll down and then you just supposed to keep you that pretty ballerina bun that I can do when I belong here. But I cannot right now because I've got a little ponytail. So I'm gon na go ahead and spin around again grab my Bobby hands and let's get this up. Okay, so I'm gon na take and open this play. I'M in frame I'm just now thinking of that, what we're gon na pull it up and then start rolling downward and then okay, you know twist it so it stays actually stays like. I don't need to do anything but we're going to move the hair around it. So that we get that full up circle kind of a bun and try to tuck the ends of it inside the the hair, okay and then I'm going to take some bobby pins and a bobby pin the hair together here, so that we can kind of close. That loop, always working with blocking in the bobby pins, and it does help them stay - can still feel a lot of it. Oh more hair up, you could leave this little. Guy is just kind of hanging out there, but I am going to you what tuck it in or try to you anyways and then I don't have anything lacking over there. So lock it in this way. I really do miss having buns it's one thing about long hair that I do absolutely miss. That'S kind of why I am gon na grow it out anyways um for the kind of mess that's left down here, because again I have shorter hair. So it doesn't all go up. I'M gon na take um a little. My recipes are pretty strong um, I think Target or I don't know just whatever you have on hand or whatever you feel like using your also could use just a bobby pin, sometimes I'll. Do that and I'll put like this circle over top of it but anyways this is a EFS mom trying to look more done up. Then you are so I'm gon na spin again. How I do this I make sure kind of comb through and if anything else is gon na pull pull it down. That way, you don't have extra flyaways and I'm just gon na take and I'm gon na braid this um. So I just separate into thirds the whole group here. Try to make them even makes it easier to braid, and then I just break them. I braid as high as I possibly can make sure that the braid is nice and flat and with your barrettes or if you have bobby pins, I mean whichever you're using go ahead and secure that to your habit, and I always like using it to just. I don't know I just do I always come from the other way make sure that you get the hair with baby hairs. You can have them separated or stacked on top of each other, usually a finger link. Apart and again, I usually just pulled my baby hairs down his they're gon na fall, anyways, it just kind of gives it the undone kind of look. I I love this. I'M gon na keep wearing this all day. I, like that, you don't see it um and it is a fast bond. It'S a little bit more secure a little bit more put together in a band like the messy bun that I I try to do with my short hair, but I mean it'll grow out and everything like that. But I absolutely I had fun with this I'll. Keep using it absolutely, and I will also try it wet to see if I like it. I might might get a second one and then do like half and half, because otherwise, like a lot of my side here, wouldn't be in the thing. So maybe I'll get a second one, but anyways umm. Have you tried something like this? I do do you like it. Did you like this hair tutorial kind of quick today, um but anyways? I hope you guys enjoyed today. Let me know your thoughts and comments down below about this pitch pitch Pro small bun shaper I mean, have you tried anything anyways if you have any more hair gadgets or something kind of fun? Let me know - and I will try to you - I get it up on the channel. I hope to see you guys tomorrow, bye

Blessed Life, Love, and Faith.: I am expecting to receive this tomorrow! I am excited, but I have long, thick wavy hair. I might use it for half up hair styles, but I'll see. Thank you for the hair tutorials, and absolutely adore your hair/eye color! So beautiful! God bless.

Debutawn: Both of these buns looks really super cute on you !!

Pegge Merkling: You rock, was looking at these online, but no hint on how they work. Of course decided to look on YT as everything is on YT. Your video was perfect. I've also have short hair and loved how both turned out. Loved the hack on the dmall braid at the back, well definitely still that idea. I used to wear French twist all the time. But back then I had long hair. I've tried to do it with short and it's always a fail. Can't wait to get mine so I can wear them again. You were s terrific help, much appreciated. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Ifthikar Khan: That twist is a adorable

chempanda: Can this work for someone with middle length fine hair? I'm interested in this thing.

Stake and Brush: Makeup Over 40: It looks very cute on you? Do you think it would work on thick hair? Mine is incredibly thick so I have issues with some tools.

Lacie Christy: That twist is adorable

Paula Hulse: Omg
