Messy Side Bun For Short Hair

Hey everyone, it's Natalia from my new Bell mode and I am coming at you today with a hair tutorial and if you're wondering where I am I'm in my tiny little French bathroom and it's tiny and we have an apartment of three rooms and we all share A bathroom and the worst part about it, you're gon na laugh, but can you see hold on? Can you see that up there? That'S a window like a glass right on the other side of that window is mine in my husband's room. So, every time somebody turn on the light in here you're, basically turning on the light in our room so like when our kids have to go to the bathroom in the world the night, it's ridiculous, I mean. Sometimes I wonder who designed this stuff. I don't know anyway all that to say I'm here, because these two mirrors are the only mirrors on our house and it really really need it like a full-length bun. So I can make sure I'm not looking like a bag lady, but I'm asked for now. This is this: is it and yeah, so I'm coming out to what I'm gon na show you today is what I'm wearing right now. It is a very easy trust me side, messy bun and if you didn't know, I used to have super long hair and I chopped it off and I'm trying to show different tutorials for short hair, and so this one might hear is right around my shoulder length. You'Ll see in a minute - and I did this in probably 5 or 10 minutes - super easy - I'm really loving the ease of the short hair. It'S awesome, so I want to share that with you guys who think, because your short hair, you can't do anything because trust me you can and it's so much faster. So I hope you enjoy it and thanks so much for watching. Ok, are you ready? Let'S get started as you can see, my hair is cuz second-day called it yesterday, yeah yep yesterday, hmm, maybe it's third day anyway gosh. I can't even remember, but it's not first thing so I'll. Just tell you that I know that much so anyways, it's um curls from my I slept in a no heat, headband and then curled a little bit with this curling iron. It'S a tapered, clipless curling iron by Conair, and actually I really love it. Okay, so kind of messy dirty hair. I also used when I blow dry to this big sexy hair root pump. Plus I actually like it. I used to use equation, 1 works as well, so what I'm gon na do is start with a tease of full tease from here back and since we're doing a side ponytail. I just want to make sure I have volume all around and, as you can see right now, I really don't so. I'M gon na take some dry shampoo because you know I'm on day 2 or 3 shape and I'm gon na give myself some lift starting at the back here. I'M gon na go ahead and spray a little with my dry shampoo and then I'm gon na. Take a teaser brush like this one heycome, something like that. I'M going to do that just follow along for a bit and then we'll get to the style you I think I'm ready to go big hair. I feel like from the south so anyways once you have um some big hangar. You can always team it down with either your fingers are kind of like comb. It like um just to get the frizz out, but not really comb the t's, so just the top, but you also wouldn't like to see the curls that you had in there. So then I'm going to do I'm going to take. Let'S see first, I'm going to leave this out on the front here and I want to keep all of this volume I have so I'm going to twist it you. Okay, don't worry about all the little ones here, we'll kind of because for Shorthair they're gon na fall out so you're just going to need to tuck them in later, and then here just kind of bring the front out here and secure with a ponytail to the Side, just something like a small thin one. If you have it, here's something we can do if you have medium here like a little longer than mine, what you can do is end the curl like this or sorry the ponytail like this, so that you have something here coming down and you'll, see what we Do after but since mine's, pretty short right now, I'm gon na just do a regular little ponytail. Let me take care of these flyaways, I'm just gon na pin them. You don't want to lose your Heights. Your volume. Okay, then, with this you're, hopefully gon na have some of your curls still there, which they kind of do and then basically you're gon na push it up to your head and pin that easy. This is the beauty of having short hair. Okay. Now that you have the messy bun part, what is this? Oh then you're gon na deal with the front. You can't mean I guess you could just leave it like this to try on it. So we're gon na just incorporate this into the twist that we did. I like it to cover my ears, like that. Let me show you and then this one same thing: I'm just going to do it like a light twist into the mess you and there you go try to like it can kind of see in the back here. If you need to smooth it out, just use this comb, but other than that there you have it. It'S really easy. As you can see, I mean really super easy. I'M loving having short hair and if you didn't know that before I used to have it down like the middle of my back, it was so long. I was having trouble doing anything with it because, like literally to wrap it around my hair and have to hold it once and then do it again to do the bottom end. It was taking forever and it was super annoying. Not that long here I mean I'm probably long again, but I'm enjoying taking ten minutes and I ever cute up. Do I mean I'm really loving it.
