Hey guys, so I know crazy. I can't believe I'm recording right now, but I am about to cut my hair and what do I do YouTube for kicks not to film something beauty related, so I'm gon na go ahead and just do it. I decided I'm going to cut it. My natural hair already grew out all the way up to here, which I told myself a long time ago. I'M not gon na do anything to it. I want to see how my natural hair looks and all of this is very, very dry and although it looks okay right now, it's straightened. So it doesn't look so bad, but I decided I'm either going to have nice short hair or wait for all this to grow and then end up with this haircut anyways. So I decided I'm just gon na cut. It have healthier shorter hair and that's fine with me if I ends up messing it up. If it's just ends up not working at all, then I'll just go shorter and I'll go get it done. So I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and I saw what I don't want to do for sure, so I don't end up in a fellas, video or and what I do want to do for me like what I think will work. So hopefully this works. Okay, so the first thing for sure is that I wanted my hair to be straight for the haircut not whit, my hair is curly and it's also puffy and if it's wet, I'm not gon na, be able to see exactly how it looks. So that's not gon na work, even though it's way like it still won't work for me, something I decided not to do was do the pony toes in the front and then cut. Not only is this too thick anyways, but if I bring my hair forward, I am making this longer, which means that whenever it goes back, it's going to be longer than it is in the front, and then I'm gon na have like this weird shape in the Back like a u or a B, I'm gon na end up with, like this weird cut, I think - and I don't want that so I'm just gon na try my best to keep the back in the back and then the front in the front. So we'll see what happens all right teas. So this is how long my hair is and my hair does grow faster in the back than it does in the front, and the ponytails are not gon na be a 100 % even once they're cut. So you need a bag. Your scissors, some rubber bands, you'll, also need some brushes and your mirror, of course, and some towels on the bottom. So you don't get too messy first thing: I'm gon na do is comb my hair out and I'm going to do the front section first. This is right in front of my ear. That'S where I split it, and this first rubber band is going to be where I'm gon na cut right below it. So that's where you want to place it make sure you know exactly how long you want it to be, and then that's where you're gon na cut right underneath it this second rubberband is going to be what's going to hold on to my hair, so it doesn't Fall all over the floor once I cut it so that one doesn't really matter like it doesn't matter where you put it. So I'm not gon na put it to the front. Remember because then it's gon na be longer in the back. So I'm gon na split the back section into two: I'm gon na have six rubber bands overall and before doing that, I am going to hold the other side of my hair, so that way doesn't get mixed in and make sure that you put this part of Your hair towards the back, so you don't want to put the rubber band in front of your shoulder, keep it in the back this one. I didn't like it because I ended up doing it too high and you can pull it down, but it's kind of hard, because these rubber bands are really tight and make sure you do put it really tight. I put it around four times, but I redid it so don't keep it because you're going to regret it re. Do it trust me so I'm kind of going to look at where I want it. It'S not gon na be 100 %. I'M gon na go over all the rubber bands at the end, but that is kind of where I want the hair to be like I'm gon na cut right below that rubber band. So I'm gon na do the same thing with this side. Remember, keep it pulled behind your ear. What you do want is for it to angle towards the bottom: don't make the outer rubberband shorter, because that's what's gon na go towards the top of the shoulders and then it'll look like that. You shape I was talking about. So I'm doing the same thing to the other side and, like I said, I'm kind of checking them. You want these two to be the same, because that's what's gon na be in the back. That'S like the center of the back of your head! So try to make those the same, like I said right now, I'm kind of like checking in and you can pull them. If you need to to make it a little bit higher and that's I wasn't sure if that was gon na work. So I'm like what, if I mess up my my smoothness, you know for it to be even but nothing happened. So I was good with that. So now I'm gon na do the front part again. This is exactly like the other side, so I'm trying to make them as even as possible. One side of my hair grows faster than the other side, so the ponytail that I cut off is not even and then I'm gon na start putting my rubber bands that go on the bottom. Like I said that those don't matter those are what's going to catch. The hair, so what I'm doing here is just checking making sure that the back rubberband is shorter than the front one. If anything make it a lot longer, because you can always cut the front, you can see it. It'S easier, you'll be able to angle it like it'll, be just much easier if you just if the front is longer like, I said you wanted to be at an angle. So that way, when you look up it's as straight as possible, your head moves. So don't forget that you're tilting your head from time to time so make sure that it's at an angle towards the front all right. So now I'm putting these second rubber bands all over I'm keeping it the same. I'M just doing it towards the back, I'm not even bringing them forward. I don't want to make any mistakes, so I'm just keeping it safe all right, so these two should be the same, and the outer two could be this a or should be the same. Just because those are the ones that are gon na be towards more towards the front or the side of your hair, and here we go we're gon na cut it. Oh, my god, I did you, I am doing it okay, so this one had a little bit of extra because it fell on the floor, so I kind of cut it a little bit off, so I'm just trying to even it out on the bottom, like just To make sure it's as even as possible with the rubber band okay, by this time I was an expert at cutting them. I was like somebody give me more ponytails, but now I'm just gon na check them and I'm just making sure that they're as straight as possible towards like on the rubberband, you know like ass flat. So that way, there's not like a lot of little little edges. So I took up all the dead. Oh my gosh and my hair was so and even look at this, I'm so glad I got this off. Oh my gosh, I did it. Ah it goes so much better Wow. I did a pretty good job. I did a pretty good job. I did do a pretty good job, I'd say so, but it is a little bit and even of course I couldn't see that that much, but there were some little spots that I was like. Okay, if I need help with those later I'll, just ask my husband to cut that off, but so far it's looking pretty good. I am so happy that this came out pretty good, limiting things up, but because I wasn't 100 % sure that the ponytails in the back we're gon na be like okay. You know I'm beginning a little bit just well. Maybe I don't know - maybe not maybe it looks pretty good, but just from what I've watched I've never done this before it. Just I just decided to do four four ponytails, because I knew how much hair I had so excited. I'M actually happy with it like. I don't feel like I need to get it fixed. You know a little spot. I think we need to fix that. I was at questioning a little bit that back little ponytail because it did it. That'S the one that broke off while I was cutting it and then the hair fell on the floor. So that's the one that kind of at least it's in the front. So I can see it so. I'M gon na try - maybe I'm gon na see if I should even try to fix it or just leave it alone. I guess it doesn't look that bad, but maybe it does just a little bit right there. I would like to section it, but at the same time I don't think I want to do that. So let me just cut this there we go. I think that's much better. Is it like perfect? No, I didn't know of myself DIY. If I have to do anything else, I guess I'll do it eventually, but just like this, it does not look bad at all. I feel like I did a pretty good job, pretty good job and some of these rubber band videos have been sales which has been funny to watch in my research, but I'm glad that it came out. You came out good, so I'm gon na take a shower and I'm gon na do my makeup and sub and then I'll come back. So I wanted to show you this part too. Just in case you cut it and you want to know how to style it with like a nice wavy hair. So this is my natural hair, almost all natural color, I'm so excited about it, and you can see right there. I do have a little bit of curls and stuff and I'm gon na section it. I'M gon na use this blow dryer brush as I like to call it it's by Revlon. I bought it at Walmart for about 30 or 35 bucks, maybe even a little bit less, but I am going to blow-dry it like this, because if I just used a regular Bell dryer, I will get it looking like pretty frizzy and with no volume, and you Can also do this with the regular blow dryer and a round brush. So it's the same thing except this one's like both in one and I am putting it towards the inside once it it's been a little while longer than that, it'll just look a little flatter. So it's not really gon na be towards the inside. Like Lord Farquaad, his name is, I don't know if I said that right, but it's a little prince from Shrek. You know I'm talking about the little Lord okay, so this is the way that I'm doing it in the front. I am taking those pieces towards the front of my face and I'm even taking the back section towards the front of my face. So that way, whenever I push it back, it's going to create tons of volume and it works. It'S like you get the lifted roots and it looks really really cool so there I am, you see all the hair. I have actually do have a lot. I don't really like to straighten it. I prefer this and I'm going to brush it out a little bit to make sure that everything is dry, and so I'm just gon na push it back right there and I'm doing it to the side. I really do like it inside. I could do it either way with the haircut that I did cutting it sectioning it in the middle. You could do it either side and I'm using this curling iron. It'S like a 3/4 of an inch type of curling iron and I am gon na curl it some towards the inside or the outside, and some towards the front, and I'm doing them very very for a little bit. Okay, I'm not doing them forever. I don't want tight curls and I'm also mainly doing it in the center of my hair, so that way it's not too high up and too low. So that way, you can give me just like a little wave, not so much an actual curl and then the front, I'm just doing it a little bit looser as I get closer to the front. So that way, you know it's not like super super curly in the front, all right. So there we go looking cute and the bottom sections I am going to do them the opposite way, whatever, if they're going towards the inside I'm just using the curler and doing them towards the outside. You can also use a straightener for that, but if you don't want to have two things on, you know just do it with the curling iron and look at how much volume that gives trust me. The blow-dryer brush is really good. So there's the haircut look at how good it looks. I'M surprised this is the back and the curls are a little bit tighter, but I will be loosening them up later on and then like throughout the day, they'll get even looser. So that is the way that it looks all the way around and my makeup is done. I love it. It'S just like a regular little easy makeup, look with some red lipstick and it just love red lipstick, my favorite and just some kind of loosening them up a little bit more. I just pinned it up, while I did my makeup so that they cooled down with volume and yeah. Now it just looks like that's trying to figure out like how I wanted it, but I really like it like that in the center and then I'm just applying a little bit of Moroccan oil. So that way can give me some shine and just applying that on my roots a little bit so that way it doesn't get too heavy and on the bottom as well. So what do you think this is the complete look? This is exactly what I wanted. I was thinking of doing the layers, but I decided not to - and I think that's fine, because I still have a lot of volume and now that my hair is just the majority of its natural. It feels really good like it's easy for me to style it. It does take me a little while, as you saw, my hair is naturally wavy. It'S also just frizzy and stuff. If I let it air dry on its own, but once I style it, it does look really neat and stuff. The thing that that you can tell whenever it's straightened because it was so flat - is that I do have a lot of hair and overall, I don't feel like I have to cut extra. I don't feel like I have to go in there. Maybe you can see it and maybe I'll be able to see it later whenever I edit the video that there is like an evenness, but if I curl it you can barely tell also. Let me know if you're watching this video while you're about to cut it. I want to know I want to know, because I know how it feels to be watching a video and feeling like okay, I got this, I can do it i'ma do it. So let me know what you think about it. If you did use my video to cut your hair, let me know what tips works best for you and let me know if it actually worked for your hair type, and that is pretty much it for today's video. Thank you so much for watching another one, I'm so glad this wasn't a fail, and I will see you in my next one: bye,

Chief Bells: I DID IT, Angelica!! I've watched so many videos and this was the only one that made perfect sense to me [especially banding multiple sections in the back]. I watched this three times, went out and bought a good pair of shears, and did it! it looks terrific! EXACTLY what I wanted. I can't thank you enough. Keep it up!

Amanda Maestas: I admit, before I watched this I was very worried for you because I am a hairstylist and ALWAYS get people who tried cutting their own hair and failed. But you SLAYED! I am super impressed!!! Great job!

Alex Mojica: From a hairstylist’s opinion I think you did an awesome job, you styled it real good too! Looks awesome on you!

Putri Hermansjah: Hey girl! I've been impulsively trying out different diy haircut techniques for years and by far your tutorial turned out to be THE BEST result! Lovin' my new cut so much. THANK YOU!!

Breanna Shantel: I followed your tutorial yesterday and cut my own hair for the very first time. It came out so well! I am very happy with the results. Thank you so much for sharing! :)

Claudia Acosta: Girl!! Thank you so much!! I love it !!! It turned out exactly how I wanted it !! I went from long to this short it was sooooo scary but well worth it now I don’t have to take forever doing my hair or have to worry if someone doesn’t get my haircut right Ty!!

Lamees exp: Thank you very much for this tutorial! I wanted to cut my hair short but I didn’t want to go to the salon because of bad experiences I’ve had before, so I decided to do it myself and I’m sooo happy with the end result. A few strands were a tiny bit uneven, but my husband fixed it for me and it looks perfect. I’m so glad it didn’t end up like the funny fail videos on YouTube lol

Rachel Nephew: Just followed your method and I'm so happy with the results! Thank you for the inspiration and instructions!

Roxanna Hernandez: I followed this and my hair turned out great and exactly straight across and even ☺️. I’ve also seen so many fail videos of people trying to cut their own hair and have been scared of cutting my own. The other tutorials that I’ve seen always use the one ponytail method at the top of the head, but my problem with that method is that it creates layers which I didn’t want. Your explanation for why this method works was great and once again thank you so much

Amber Bushong: Your hair came out great! I have been doing my hair at home for over 14 years and I know that feeling of “here it goes!!” Right before you cut. And then the happiness when it doesn’t turn out terrible. Hats off to you! I have never done this exact method with the rubber bands. There’s always hair all over the place, so I think this is genius. My hair is also curly/poofy so I appreciate your courage to do this, and also thanks for showing how to style it.

Anna Bota: I just cut my hair following this tutorial. It turned out pretty great! Thank you Angelica!!!❤️

Dr. Sashina Karamchund B.A.M.S. : Ok...so...I have watched so many tutorials to get this done, and HANDS DOWN, this has been the best I've found so far! Your hair looks friggin amazing! I'm so excited to try it on mine right now. You made it look simple and accomplishable! Thank you so much!

Bunny Withee: Great job Angelica! I've been a hair dresser for over 30 years and agree with others you did an amazing haircut! Keep up the good work!

Sharon Springman: WITH YOUR HELP, I CUT MY HAIR INTO A SHORT BOB. I was so nervous to do this right before a big vacation. But it turned out beautiful. I watched so many videos and this one several times. I love the sectioning and small ponytails. It keeps the hair so smooth and easy cut to at the right length. My hair is very thin so my ponytails were very thin, but it still worked great. I have been trimming my own hair since the Pandemic but this is the first time I actually attempted a real style. Thank you so much for making this video. I saved big $$$.

IreneH: I think one of the best things that came out of lockdown was learning how to cut my own hair! Thank you for this video! I am saving SO much money & time and my hair looks just as good as if going to the salon - awesome!

Sara Vang: Totally just cut my hair following your instructions! Looks great! One of my ponytails slipped out while I was cutting so its a tad bit shorter than the other side but not too noticeable! Yay! Thanks a bunch!

Kate: Thanks so very much, Angelica❤️ Due to Covid & Omicron, I have been growing out my old dye jobs, cutting hair myself intermittently & putting hair up all this time. Your directions were the best I’ve seen so far & allowed me to cut 2-3 inches off Thanks again!

c cortez: Thank you so much for this! My hair turned out great ♡ only watched you do it like 10 to 12x i loved how you styled your hair can't wait to try that. Will subscribe for more short hair styles & makeup tips xoxox

Jessie K: Wow you've really inspired me!! It looks stunning my hair is soooo damaged and snapping at the bottom :( I've thought about this length so much but have a lot to cut off. I think I'm going to do it!!! :D well done! Will definitely use your technique, great idea xxx

Katy H: Great job! I'm planning to divide mine into 4-6 sections too. I've cut my hair a couple of times & I always felt like it was fine; not sure what other people thought. ‍♀️ I have super thick hair, & tons of it so I tend to get annoyed & want to hack it off when it starts hurting my neck. ‍♀️

Fruitplantfairynpups: This haircut turned out so cute!! I love it!! It looks so healthy!! I would love to do this but I’m worried about the back! Fabulous job!!✨✨

Crystal Torrez: Going to cut it now I have medium density hair that ranges from normal to thick strands and your tip about making more sections/ponytails is what's giving me the courage to do it lol I'm thinking of trying 8 since my hair is way to long but I'm also going about 4in. lower than my shoulder so I should be fine, right? Jk... I've cut my hair but always ended up with the "V" look and I'm ready for the change so here's hoping I get close to your straight line or I'll have to wait for my hubby to help me fix it ☺️

Robin Holbrook: Watching you again! Your hair is so beautiful! So shiny! I’m getting ready to cut it again! THANK YOU...once more!

neha khandate: I did it yaay ! And now I'm loving this new haircut. Your video was really really helpful and easy to try.

Deedra Balli: Thank you! I love how simple you made it seem! Your hair looks awesome on you!

Hoe for Harry styles: I have been depressed for months mainly because of appearance, I tried this haircut and I can't remember me being more happy with myself thank you

Noemi Vargas: I watched this video earlier and decided to just do it. I cut my own hair and I love the way it looks. I had the same before and after length. I was hesitant but I needed to cut off all my damaged hair! I love the way it looks!!

Iolanthe333: You're a genius! I've been cutting my hair into a bob/lob for years but this method is so fricking easy and foolproof. Thank you so much, you've made my life so much easier! :D

TK: You’re so smart!!! I’m cutting my hair for 8 years and I was yet to find out the best way to cut straight across until I watched you! Cutting hair straight across is the most difficult one since you can’t make a mistake without getting noticed

Jennifer Perdomo: Did this , had my daughter help and it came out amazing. Thank you.

Jeny Quezada: Thank you ! I did it and it was supper easy and I loved my results too!

K J: Looks super - going to get my husband to do this for me later! Thank you for posting!

Karen Brown: Thank you so much!!!! I did this and it's one of the best hair cuts I have ever had! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

S Johnson: It worked!!! So happy with my haircut! I did it a lot shorter, but that is how I wanted it. Thank you sooooo very much for this! In the end, I only needed a little help with the back (just to even it out a little), but OMG, it turned out exactly how I wanted and pictured it in my head.

Paige Charette: Thank you for this video, I watched it several times, bought tiny bands and did it. It turned out just as I hoped. I have fine straight hair shoulder length and cutting it dry was the best. I thought i would have to go over it wet but only a few tiny snips that needed a touch up. It was worthwhile putting the hair in small sections of bands. Hair salons are closed as you know at this time due to world wise illness and this video helped me and saved me from my blunt looking unclean edged. I watched a few others and they did not seem precise enough nor as careful in prepping before snipping. I love it! Thank you for sharing your video!

Eli Romero: I tried this 2 nights ago and honestly I’m so happy I found your video before I cut my hair. This helped me out a lot.

Sondra Nix: Looks great! I think I’m ready to diy mine now! Your video is very helpful!

Stephanie Hernandez: I have never cut my own hair before, but due to corona and very dead ends, I decided to go ahead and cut like 3 inches off using this method, and it worked perfectly! And if anyone reading this is scared and debating on whether or not to do it, just go for it! Hair grows and it’ll make for a fun quarantine experience lol.

SP2009: Awesome job, love it. I just cut mine off before watching yours using rubber band method. I am quite happy with mine and after watching your video tempted to chop off a couple of more inches using 5-6 rubber bands like you , instead of just 2. I am in love with self cutting, saves me spending $80 every few months and it turns out pretty good with styling.

consu :): Omg I just cut my hair using this technique and it worked out incredible!! Thank you so much! I reaaaaally didn’t expect it to come out so even, specially bc it was my very first time trying to cut my own hair

Karenina Chen: Your tutorial is amazing so far your method is the best and not messy, easy to clean up. I just cut my hair using your method and it comes out great. Hope you come out more tutorials for different kind of haircuts or fringes. Thanks

Miyoko Inase: I did it and just cut 12+ inches off! Thank you, looks great! My hair is super thick so I did 9 ponytails and most were still too thick to cut well, probably should have done more like 15 so it needs some touch ups but overall pleased with the technique!

paerisane: I'm also about to use this video to cut my hair to the same length! Also your hair looks so healthy and shiny!

Josefina Villarreal: Thanks I did it! I am 71 and so happy to have had your video, so encouraging and detailed.

un croissant et un café, s’il vous plaît: I just got my cut my hair like yours and I LOVE the way you styled yours here a couple years ago, new subscriber here! Can’t wait to see more of your content ❤️

Alicia W: I followed your suggestions and it worked really well thanks!

Elisa Bisignano: I used your tutorial today! I LOVE MY HAIR! I'm quarantined in Italy and couldn't stand my long hair anymore, so I looked up a tutorial for cutting it decently and I found you! It came out SO good! Thank you ❤️❤️

Heather Shipley: Just used this and it worked great! Thank you!!

Angela Marie: I've always cut my hair wet and seeing that you straightened it then cut it is genius. I'm definitely doing that next time

Julie Dunn: Gorgeous hair, you did such a great job!!

Rose Stanger: I am wanting to cut my hair again, and so far this actually looks like it works pretty good! I am going to try it. Thank you! Your hair looks amazing.

Maria Ramos: Great great job! I knew it would work because i tried it for the first time and it is super amazing what one can do from home, with these YouTube self help videos!!!! Your hair is so full and i love that smile of victory at the end ✂️

C. Shoemaker: This video is great! Very easy to follow and a great way to cut hair. Awesome, thank you

Freya76 Freya76: Thank you so much for that amazing tutorial! I just followed it step by step and it turned out great! I‘m so happy. I think I won‘t go to the hairdresser anymore. ☺️ Greetings from Switzerland. ✌

SouthCoastLady: Great video, thanks. I cut my hair in lockdown about 2 months ago and I sectioned it into 4. I will try with 6 this week so thanks for the tip. I love cutting my own hair now. Be careful though, its a little addictive. Now all I want to do is to learn to texture the ends and I'll be even happier. Good Luck everyone,

Lucia Torres: Omg girl this is what I needed to see for me to say lest do this!! It looks amazing and I'm about to do mine ..

Los Mendez: This is perfect! I cut my own hair but always ended up with a v shape and now I see how I can get it straight. Thank you!

Jennifer: Wow of all the more recent videos from a year back to now, yours came out the best. Completely boosted my confidence to cut my own hair lol I used to cut my own years ago but got a little fancy and started seeing a stylist but #quarentine I’m back to cutting my own hair. You did a great job!!! Thank you

Aga Bak: This is exactly the hair cut I want. Thank you for sharing!!

Amy Rohr: This looks so good! This is how I cut my hair and it always turns out great. I use clippers for the cutting and it makes it easier.

Annalise Erkelens: This was SO HELPFUL!! thank you so much!!

lizz trent: I love the 6 rubber band tip! I tried it and it looks so good. I thought for sure it wouldn't turn out right, but im so happy with the style!

Lpg 8: Wow, you did an amazing job!!  This is the first time that I see a DIY and it comes out almost perfect 99% :) you inspired me to try it, I'll do the ponytails first and then decide if I have the nerve to cut LOL!!  Thanks.

Robin Holbrook: My 17 year old granddaughter cut my hair using this technique! It came out FABULOUSLY! I did the front differently as I wanted curtain bangs. I used a different tutorial for them. I also left the side section in front of my ears an inch longer than the rest. It is NOT tapered. It just drops down an inch. For the bangs and one inch drop I followed HARMONIZE BEAUTY on YouTube. Oh! She divided my hair into more sections but used your technique for the length each time. She felt the sections were too thick and would be too hard to cut through. I’m 74 and my hair is silver. And the cut is AWESOME SQUARED!!!! We are all THRILLED! You are AWESOME!

CasuallyObservant: That looks amazing. Your hair is so healthy and shiny. Your final result was awesome!

Chunky Funk: I’m literally cuttung my hair while watching the video. I’m sectioning it just like you and it’s making it soooo easy. I have half a cut head and half my long hair right now this is a great video!!!

Miranda: Omg. Just followed your instructions and chopped mine as well. I was so scared but it worked! Thank you!

Judi Roth: WOW - your idea of splitting into 6 ponytails came outPERFECT! So much better than pulling 2 toward the front. Looks really good!!! Thanks for posting this videa❣️

Anne Bialecki: Looks amazing! Excellent job.

Jeff Mann: Great job! You make it look easy!

Lilia Brancewicz de Swan: Just cut about 5 cm and my hear looks great!! Even and carefully!!! Thank you

Josefina Villarreal: Thanks I did it! I am 71 and so happy to have had your video, so encouraging and detailed.

filerji 6: I did it last night and it worked. My hair turned out very nice wavy bob style. Thank you so much.

Alexa HowManyHamsters?!: I cut and dye my own hair, have for about 10 years lol, this helped me so much! Thank you. I found it easier to take the pony out after each cut and fix it one at time instead of at the end

luvsephora55: I just cut my hair the same way...As I was watching lol. It looks good!! Just took the dead ends off. The length is a bit longer. I also did it dry and I'm glad I did. I'm all set for summer ❤❤

Anonymous w: Omg I been dying to cut my hair for the past 2 months and now that the Covid-19 is here and closed up everything I need to get my split ends off. It's driving me nuts and I will use your technique. You did an amazing job

StyxNyx1: You did a fantastic job with your hair and you look adorable in it! Your hair is so beautiful and shiny! I used to have my hair this short a long time ago and am entertaining the idea of cutting it like this again but first...I have to be ready to part with my knee length hair of which may take some time. I wouldn't have a problem with it if I knew I could grow it back out again but, at my age, I seriously doubt that I'll live long enough to do that. Maybe I'll cut it next year when I turn 60.

Robin Holbrook: Hair looks FABULOUS! I’m going to have my granddaughter cut mine tomorrow!

Lauren Keough: You did an amazing job!!! Wow! Thinking about cutting my hair again- so if I do I will try your method! (I did a kind of a fail job a couple of months ago but I fixed it as much as I could and then it didn’t look as bad hahah)

PorroParty: OMG I followed your video and it worked!!! Thanks for the great video, it was really clear and easy to follow. I just uploaded my own attempt LOL!

Bev :Castillo: You did good and you taught well! I followed your clear simple guide and cut my hair as well...I'm down with diy as much as possible. Thank you.

Tamara Morton: You did a really great job! You have gorgeous hair and lots of it. This is the first haircutting tutorial that I've looked at so I'm going to do a little bit more research but I think your technique will work for me. I have that same Revlon hair styler and love it. A lot of people trashed it on YouTube but it works great for me. I used to get so tired of switching the round brush and the hair dryer from hand to hand and find that I don't have to do that with this hair dryer. Thanks for sharing this video.

A R: I had very very long and thick hair (down to my butt) and I tried this. I had to part my hair into 16. I had to use 4 rubber bands on each section. It takes ages and it’s very tedious but it works. Make sure you cut neatly with good scissors

Star City Designs- Digital Planning: I did it! I followed your video, and I love it! …it may have took me an hour + because I was scared, and probably did the rubber bands a dozen times… Thank you!

Myriam Carcas: Your hair looks beautiful, I’m about to do the same!

Madeseweasy: I think I watched more than 50 videos on how to cut/DIY hair before I decided to try this. I promise this one is brilliant. I won’t be going to the hairdresser for a long time. Thanks to you.

Claudia: I'm here because of the coronavirus. I didn't think it was going to be so bad that hair salons would close . Thank you so much for posting this video!

Elise Van Vessem: Thank you! Your video got me through COVID19 lockdown and again just now! My result is even better this time :-)

Sarah Nushkaya: It worked so well. Did it shorter. Thanks so much

Rachel Davis: This worked decently well. I couldn't find good hair ties for my thick hair and it got a little sloppy, but it looked fine and I feel better now. Shout-out to quarantine haircuts.

Gabby A: Wow this is exactly how I want my hair, everytime I go to a "professional" I never get what I want. You really did a great job!! I'm gonna try ur technique ASAP thanks

Panama Veggie: Awesome, just did it, went a very tiny bit shorter...so happy, thanks!

terrymay2000: You did a great job. I love it!
