Hey guys! In today's tutorial I'm teaching you how to lighten your hair from dark brown to blonde using bleach and how to diy color your hair Rose Gold at home. I talk you through, step-by-step, how to bleach and tone your hair. To maintain your hair's integrity, I highly recommend waiting 4-6 weeks in between color services. The brassy color shown works as the "Gold' in Rose Gold; however, if you'd like your hair to be more on the blonde side, I'd recommend using an ash-based toner.

♡Step-By-Step Process♡

♡Bleach: Mix bleach and developer then evenly apply to the ends of the hair shaft (1cm to 1 inch from the scalp). Allow to sit for 25-30 minutes or until you've reached your desired shade. After reaching your desired shade, apply the remainder of the bleach to your roots, similar to a relaxer application. Your roots tend to process faster due to your body heat so always bleach that area last. To ensure eveness, gently work bleach through with a pick or the rattail end of a comb. Let the ends and roots process together for and additional 15-20 minutes.

♡Shampoo: 1. Start with a neutralizing shampoo to neutralize (stop the processing of) the bleach and balance the hair's ph levels. 2. Shampoo again with Shimmering Lights or brightening shampoo to counteract brassiness and richen the color. 3. Use a hydrating shampoo to restore moisture.

♡Color: Mix equal parts of Adore's Cotton Candy + Adore Soft Lavender, add an extra 1/2 cup of Soft Lavender if you want the Rose color to be deeper on the Magenta side. Optional: Add a few tablespoons of conditioner for extra moisture. Apply evenly, roots to ends. Apply a plastic cap and sit under a hooded dryer for 15 minutes, 30 minutes if you don't have a dryer.

♡Conditioner: Thoroughly rinse color and leave deep conditioner on the hair for 5-7 minutes then rinse. Style hair as desired.

Hello, hello, hello, its Janeiro's, hair, stylist and makeup artist in new york city. Back with the new tutorial, and today i am teaching you how to bleach your hair at home and then tint. It rolls cold I'll, put all of the products and an in-depth description in the description box. To give you a little bit more information about what I use and why so, what you see me doing right now is starting about a centimeter from the scalp bleaching. The ends depending on the porosity of the hair, the ends can be a bit more stubborn to take to the bleach. So I leave that on for about 25 minutes, or so until I get it to the desired, lift that I'd like and then afterwards. I then go in and do the root area the roots tend to process a bit quicker because of the body heat. So that's why I always start with the ends and then going with the roots. You apply it similar to that of a relaxer, and then I let that process together for about an additional 15 minutes. You don't want to leave it on too long because you don't want to over process the ends and then afterwards you just leave it on at the time varies. But as you see right now, I'm going through with a pick just to check the process and see and make sure that it's evenly coated all the way around. If you happen to get any product on the skin, make sure to remove it as quickly as possible. With a warm rag and baking soda just to ensure that the product doesn't take to the skin process and burn it, so I shampoo Kourtney's, hair off-camera. I started with a neutralizing shampoo to rebalance the hairs pH and bring it back to a normal level, and then I use shimmering lights, which is a protein rich shampoo that helps to tone any brassiness and then a hydrating shampoo to replenish moisture. So after I shampoo Kourtney's hair, I mix together the two colors, the soft lavender and the cotton candy, which I will apply all over. If Courtney wanted to keep her hair the blonde shade, I would have used an ash based toner to counteract the brassiness, but the gold works here, because it is the gold in the rose gold and the pink color works as the rose. If Courtney wanted her hair but lighter the blonde shade, I would definitely wait four to six weeks before processing it again, definitely to not compromise any of her hair its integrity. So then I just keep the rose gold color all over and I am sure that it's evenly distributed. I put a cap on it and I sit her under the dryer for about 15 minutes. I also added conditioner to the color just to give it a little bit of a moisturizing treatment. While it's processing - and this is the final result, Courtney seems to be really pleased with her hair, which makes me feel awesome. I mean look at her she's, giving you face right now, so thank you guys so much for watching. I hope that you enjoyed it. If you have any comments, questions or concerns definitely leave them in the comment box below check out the description box to see everything that I use if you're in the New York City area and you're, looking for a hair stylist to cut color for extension, so press Breathe lack of maintenance, LOC extensions, definitely reach out to me on Janiero royals.com, if you're in the DMV area.
